Let me start off with this. How much money did you spend on a vacation recently, particularly between Memorial Day and now? For about three days, around the weekend of Saturday, November 6, 2010, Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, Mallia Obama, Sasha Obama, and about hundreds and hundreds of other persons (U.S. government people, U.S. press people, and U.S. security people) were in Mumbai, India, as part of a vacation and an international business conference, and the stay in Mumbai was based at the 550-plus-room Taj Mahal Palace (hotel), and it was a trip that was scheduled to cost millions (the true figure is unknown to me at this time), and, surely, the Obama trip was set to be an incredibly extravagant trip. I say that the trip was made so that Barack Obama could feel and act like a king.
Okay, on October 24, 2010, The Telegraph (in the United Kingdom) published a story entitled "Barack Obama's Indian delegation books 800 rooms in Mumbai,'" which gave information about Barack Obama's trip to Mumbai, India, and the story said that his trip to Mumbai would use about 800 rooms, about 570 of which would be at the Taj Mahal Palace [Sherwell, Philip. "Barack Obama's Indian delegation books 800 rooms in Mumbai.'" The Telegraph, 24 October 2010, 6:46 p.m. BST.]. Let us have some fun while we travel through this edition of Michigan Travel Tips. I found that, generally speaking, rooms at the Taj Mahal Palace cost more than $300 a night. I will use $300 a night and 570 rooms for a calculation. If I multiply $300 by 570, I get $171,000.00. I have to take into account 230 other rooms. Let me pretend each of those 230 other rooms costs only $100. If I multiply 230 by $100, I get $23,000.00. One night of rooms would cost $194,000. By the way, I am probably underestimating everything--greatly. Two nights of rooms would be $388,000.00. Three nights of rooms would be $582,000.00. By the way, Barack Obama's trip was expected to be roughly a nine-day trip, so there other rooms elsewhere that are a part of the total rooms for the trip. To move, the Barack Obama entourage, it would take vehicles, security people (Indian and U.S.), and airplanes, and that stuff would take money, and food would have to be paid for, and there would be other expenses. Incidentally, since 800 rooms were used a night in Mumbai, there were at least 800 persons on the trip. Let me guess. Nine nights of rooms at really good hotels--Barack Obama would not stay in bad hotels--could cost $1,746,000.00 or more (probably). I wonder what the cost of a dinner (with tip included) costs at the Taj Mahal Palace, and I wonder what will be the final tab for the trip.
Advertisement: The commercial in this edition of Michigan Travel Tips urges you to get a copy of Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto, which is a book written by Mark R. Levin. This book will help you understand better what Barack Obama is--a man who is purposely hurting the country, even though he is the president of the country--but the book is really about enslavers--politicians--who do not believe in the values of The U.S. Constitution and how The U.S. Constitution is designed to limit the power of the government, especially a dictatorship, over the individual (the citizen). Remember: In the United States of America, it is the individuals who own the government and not the government that owns the citizens, the latter of which is what Barack Obama wants and is pushing for.
Over the centuries, countries have come and gone or changed form, and, today, it is possible to see relics and evidence of days gone past when traveling in other places of the world, and it is even possible to see evidence of days gone past, even if only the recent past, in the United States of America, particularly Michigan. When people think of castles and palaces of the past, they are very likely to think of Europe, especially Europe of the Middle Ages. Michigan (as Michigan) was not around during the Middle Ages, but Michigan is a place to find palaces and castles, which can be visited by tourists, and I can help you be like Barack Obama by showing you a palace and two castles you can visit and not spend millions and millions of dollars when doing the visits. In Auburn Hills, there is The Palace of Auburn Hills, which is yet used by the Detroit Pistons to play professional basketball games and is used for concerts and such (by the way, I was one of the first press people to see the new building, doing a story about it for the Observer & Eccentric newspapers, years ago). Generally speaking, the cost to see The Palace would be made up of a parking fee and a ticket fee (to whatever the event is), and that cost should be under $100.00, but I could be higher if you eat and eat and eat and drink and drink and drink what is sold there. Yes, The Palace is not really a tourist attraction, as are the Castle Museum of Saginaw County History and Curwood Castle, but it can be visited. Curwood Castle, which is located at Owosso in Shiawassee County of the Lower Peninsula of Michigan, was created in1922, and, today, it is a museum, the main focus of which is the structure, which is like an old castle of France, but another focus in on James Oliver Curwood, a writer who first lived in the castle, though only for a few years (he died in 1927), and one main attraction is a desk that James Curwood's father had made for him out of an old sewing machine. Elsewhere, there is a building--built in 1898--that is like a French chateau or castle, and it is the building for the Castle Museum of Saginaw County History, which is located at Saginaw of Saginaw County in the Lower Peninsula. This museum focuses, as a person might or should expect, on the history of Saginaw County, but it has what a person might not expect in a "castle," such as an HO train exhibit that uses about 1,000 feet of track, and, today, the museum has about 100,000 items. Today, the two "castles" are places where history is being preserved, and to some extent, The Palace is where the Pistons hope to make history--sports hstory.
The reason many countries have disappeared is the government philosophy was defective, and one of the recent defective political philosophies of this day and age is Marxism (and its various forms). Cuba and North Korea are two dead countries today, and they are countries that have been associated with communism for many years. Detroit, Michigan, is a city where the controlling politics is Marxism, and Detroit is a dead city (you are urged to see my document entitled Detroit and Death: A View of a Future United States of America, which can be reached by using this link: Detroit). By the way, Pompeii is one exception to the political-philosophy idea, being wiped out by a volcano. Detroit has been dying since the 1960s, and my analysis shows that Detroit will not come out of a death state for decades, and one proof is that 94 percent of the voters who voted on November 2, 2010, voted for a Marxist--Virg Bernardo--to possibly become the next governor of the State of Michigan. If you are thinking about moving to Michigan and dislike Marxism and the like, do not move to Detroit, since it is a place where crooks and thugs in the form of politicians will take away what you make for their purposes. Incidentally, I know some blacks who live in Detroit, who are retired, and who are looking for somewhere else to live, probably till they die or are unable to care for themselves, and they are looking for somewhere else, knowing what Detroit has become. The voting results of the recent election show what some of the other dead or potentially dead cities in the Detroit-Metropolitan area are, because those cities had high or very high percentages of people who voted for a Marxist to become potentially the next governor of Michigan, and some of those places are Ferndale, Royal Oak, and Pontiac, and those are places I would not recommend the blacks that I know move to, since those places show that they could easily become like Detroit, especially since, for instance, Ferndale--which has a big deficit--is a city that touches the northern border of Detroit. Do not expect to find a good palace or castle to visit in Pontiac, Royal Oak, Ferndale, and Detroit. (For more information about Detroit, you should see T.H.A.T. #79, which can be reach by using this link: T.H.A.T. #79.)
Promotional announcement: The Landmark Legal Foundation is made up of lawyers, such as Mark R. Levin (of The Mark Levin Show, a nationally syndicated radio show), who fight in court cases against those who do not uphold The U.S. Constitution and the rule of law for the country, and the Landmark Legal Foundation fights for the rights of the individual and against Marxists, communists, and the like. In this day and age when Barack Obama, who I am convinced has a truly highly ill mind, is going against the rules of the country while pursuing a goal--I believe--to hurt the country and remake it or destroy it, I believe the Landmark Legal Foundation needs your help desperately; for example, retired lawyers who want to protect the country should consider donating time to helping the Landmark Legal Foundation. I urge you to avoid making any donations to entities to promote manmade global warming or climate change and make a donation to the Landmark Legal Foundation instead (by the way, you should look into supporting the Heritage Foundation).
So, in this edition of Michigan Travel Tips, I have given you the location of several castles or palaces that you can see in Michigan and not spend millions of dollars a day to see them. Of course, to see The Palace of Auburn Hills, you could spend up to several hundred dollars for tickets and refreshments and whatever else. And you may spend more than a little money at the two "castles," such as in the gift shops.
Now, I have one more castle for you to visit. The Web site for The Hologlobe Press now has a document entitled An Erotic Tale at Horror Castle, which is a fiction piece that does have some facts pertaining to this day and age, especially about Barack Obama. Yes, I have incorporated true information about Barack Obama into An Erotic Tale at Horror Castle, which is a story for adults. There is good news and bad news for you, depending on who you are. The edition of An Erotic Tale at Horror Castle that is available at the Web site for the Hologlobe Press is the Internet version--an abridged version--of the fictional story, or it is not the "adult" version of the story. So if you wish to see the "adult" version, you are out of luck for now, and that is bad for you. If you wish to see the story in at least an abridged edition, you can. To see An Erotic Tale at Horror Castle, use this link: Castle.
Hold it! Let me say--Michigan is still a place where toys can be given out in "Happy Meals" at McDonald's Restaurants. Since I published the previous edition of Michigan Travel Tips, the City of San Francisco, California, banned McDonald's from offering toys with "Happy Meals." The nuts--the communists and enslavists--are in charge of San Francisco. Skip San Francisco as a place to visit--a place where a government can tell people what they can and cannot eat or what they can and cannot feed to children. Welcome to tyranny!
Enjoy your safe traveling in Michigan with your "Happy Meals" in hand!
Stay well!
Victor
P.S. #1: Remember: While you travel in Michigan, remind your children or grandchildren that they should never pledge to be a "servant to Obama" or a servant to any politician or sing the praises of Barack Obama, and to help you remember other matters that you should teach children about bad politicians, such as Barack Obama (who can be described as an "enslaver"), see such other documents of mine as Conservatism for Children and What Conservatism Means (which can be reached through this link: Conservatism) and Lessons for Children about Politics and Dangerous People (which can be reached through this link: Children). (Note: I first passed along the subject of not being a "servant to Obama" and the like in the publication entitled T.H.A.T. #58, which can be reached through this link: T.H.A.T. #58.)
