People out in the rural areas of the country are probably unaware of the crime numbers that have increased in the other parts of the country because of illegal immigrants, since illegal immigrants would stand out in the rural areas and they would have a hard time getting away with crap in rural area, but, in the big cities, they can sort of hide or blend in, and that can allow them to do criminal actions. So if you travel in rural areas of Michigan, you are very unlikely to come across an illegal alien, especially in an area where there are few lights and it is really dark at night. If you travel in a city, such as Detroit, you could run into an illegal alien. If you go to some big cities in other states, you are very likely to come across an illegal alien and maybe come into trouble. For example, The New York Post recently published an article called "Migrants flooding NYC's justice system--making up '75% of arrests in midtown'" [Celona, Larry, and Marie Pohl, Carl Campanile, Kevin Sheehan, and Chris Nesi. "Migrants flooding NYC's justice system--making up '75% of arrests in midtown'," nypost.com, 2 September 2024, 7:23 p.m. ET.], and the article noted, for example, that in relation to Queens and Manhattan, New York, arrests tied to illegal immigrants make up from 60 percent to 75 percent of the arrests. While you travel in Michigan, you will probably not hear that from the media--or most of the media entities--such as the Detroit Free Press, because, even in Michigan, the media business is no great thing as a rule. While you travel in Michigan, keep the statistic about illegal aliens in mind, since it is not as if the Joseph Biden-Kamala Harris administration has not been working to push illegal aliens in to Michigan over the last four years or so.
On Saturday, August 10, 2024, I learned from a newscast on Channel 7.1, WXYZ-TV, that August 9, 2024, August 10, 2024, and August 11, 2024, made up the big weekend for the 180-mile-long (roughly) garage sale event along US-12 between Detroit and New Buffalo; I had forgot about it, but I had not seen any news promoting it that would remind me that it was going to be going on. On August 10, 2024, I could not go anyway, since I got involved in doing some painting on the floor of a front porch of a house--preventative maintenance with floor-and-porch paint. What happens with the sale along US-12 is a bunch of people along the route use the three-day event to have their garage sales--it is a single time when a lot of people will more likely show up, since it is a big deal, but not necessarily something that will result in big deals. Keep that event in mind for 2025. For me, a big garage-sale event of August that I attended yearly is the famous garage sale (tied to the Humane Society) at the Cheboygan County Fairgrounds, Cheboygan County, the last of which was held on August 23-24, 2024. Keep that garage sale in mind for next year--it is held (usually) during the third weekend of August (Friday and Saturday). While you are waiting for next year and more garage sales to show up, I shall have more Michigan Travel Tips documents for you to see.
Warning announcement! Because of incidents at schools for children and incidents at other places for people in general tied to "Sharia" or "Islamic Law" or even the religion/political system known as "Islam," I now regularly have this paragraph as a part of each edition of Michigan Travel Tips. The governmental system of the United States of America based on The U.S. Constitution and "Sharia" or, informally, Islamic law, are not compatible and cannot co-exist, and one reason is "Sharia" (et cetera) is a political system, in which there is one-party rule, and that one party is basically made up or controlled by religious leaders who base all the ways of their culture or society on "Sharia" or "Islamic Law." Those who uphold and practice "Sharia" have no tolerance for the existence of Christianity or Buddhism or Hinduism or non-religion, and that is a fact, and "Sharia" is a political system in which women are second-rate human bodies and in which clergy can be involved in determining business transactions, and there is no "freedom of speech" tied to politics in a society related to "Sharia." When you travel around Michigan and in other states of the country, watch for signs that rotten people are trying to teach you or family members, especially children, that "Sharia" is good and "Allah" is good and teach you or family members that the United States of America is bad and that, for instance, Christianity and Buddhism and Hinduism are bad, which I have evidence is happening and which is being brought about by people who are clearly working to make "Sharia" a dominant political system in the world (it is a political system as rotten as socialism and fascism and communism are, since it promotes violence and thuggery and coercion, and it promotes killing of non-followers behind the face of religion and a god, Allah). By the way, a society based on "Sharia" really creates nothing in the long run and does not advance the human society as a whole since it is too busy suppressing the ideas of people and keeping the ideas of the society based on ways of only a few minds up front (the political leaders), whose main purpose is to keep themselves enriched through the work of others, the many--it is a gang-run society really. Yes, if you run across people pushing the idea that Muslim stuff--particularly the true The Quran and not the translations of The Quran that are faked to hide the true nature of Islam--is better than the U.S. is, especially to little children, go public and make it known to other good people and fight back against it.
And now I finally get around to this. On May 16, 2024, the staff of the Pontiac Transportation Museum opened up the museum for the first time to visitors. The main doors are at 250 West Pike Street, Pontiac, Michigan, and the doors and the building are west of downtown Pontiac proper. It was on July 27, 2024, when a grand-opening event took place, and, for the event, the hours for visiting were extended. Normally, the Pontiac Transportation Museum is open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday from noon to 5:00 p.m.. There is admission; for example, for a non-senior adult, the cost is $10.00. I went to the website for the place recently, and I looked everything over, and after the search, I have to report that I do not know what is really presented at the Pontiac Transportation Museum. For example, the staffers have not put on a list of vehicles that can be seen at the museum. So I cannot tell you yet what the place has. But I know the place can be used for reunions and weddings and business meetings, but that does not help the single person who wants to know what cool cars are there. I have no plans to get to the place in the near future, being busy with other things. I report to you that Pontiac, Michigan, is the home to a new car museum in Michigan, which has had several car museum for a while.
For the opening of this document, I showed evidence of the crap that Joseph Biden and Kamala Harris have pushed into the country, and I wanted you to think about the rottenness, but I have more to close this document. In around the first two weeks or so of September 2024, some media entities were showing what crap was taking place in relation to illegal aliens in Aurora, Colorado, and, specifically, the theme was related to criminal-types from Venezuela, which has evolved over the last two decades into a rotten country and a communist-controlled country. Jackasses and such from Venezuela have been entering the United States of America easily because of Joseph Biden and Kamala Harris. Then I saw other articles--a few days later--and some were working to discount the problem and give the impression that little bad was happening (probably trying to limit crap that could be tied to the Democrats and Joseph Biden and Kamala Harris by not following the immigration laws of the country). I will not report the story fully here, since, at press time, the theme was still being brought to light. Look for information about that topic--newer articles--and talk about that when you travel in Michigan. I say that Joseph Biden and Kalama Harris and their associates have purposely brought evil and violence to the county! They are shits!
