The summer tourism season is on in full force now, but where I often am in northern Michigan in the summer mostly, I will see few vacationers, and, in fact, it looks as if the tourism is going to be down for me, since tourism has been going down slightly each season over the last fifteen years or so, and that is even though right out the door is a super big beach (with nearly never a bikini gal). I probably will not see any illegal aliens milling about, and that is good, but that is unlike what a lot of people in such places as Dallas, Texas, will get exposed to. And that crap has come about through what Joseph Biden has been doing by not following immigration law. However, on June 4, 2024, Joseph Biden made a big announcement that he was going to tackle the problem of illegals at the border between Mexico and the United States of America now--it being only a few months before the next presidential election, which he is so eager to win so that, it seems, he can continue to pass along crap on to the citizens of the United States of America. Oh, I wonder if the Biden administration has been flying in illegal aliens on airplanes to Michigan, as it has been to other states, working to corrupt the cities and towns, and he has been flying the people in by bypassing the entry points along the border between Mexico and the United States of America. Now, the Joseph Biden administration is still only going to allow some thousands and thousands of illegals to across the southern border in a month because of a recent order or proclamation of his as the U.S. president, which is crap [Hesson, Ted, and Mica Rosenberg. "Biden imposes sweeping asylum ban at US-Mexico border." reuters, 5 June 2024, 3:53 a.m. EDT.]. The number should be nothing or zero! So, for me, no illegal aliens and no bikini gals, and that is the way it will be, since I am out in the sticks as a rule. For people in other places of the United States of America, it will be crap because of Joseph Biden and the Democrats--communists and socialists and progressives and liberals and such, all of whom are rotten. I do not even want to guess how much crap a vacationer will be seeing this year at San Francisco, California. For the summer tourist season, this edition of Michigan Travel Tips is the first three, and maybe it is the first of four if you allow me to put September (the start of the color season) in the summer tourist season, and maybe it is the first of five if you allow me to put the color-tourism season of October into the mix.
For many years, people have heard of the "Yankee Air Museum." It has been an attraction of the Belleville area of Michigan, which is not far from the socialistic and communistic city known as Ann Arbor, Michigan. Recently, the operators of the museum changed the title of the museum. Now, the place, which is officially at Willow Run Airport, is now "Michigan Flight Museum and Air Adventures." It has come to me that, given the Ann Arbor area is near the museum, some people tied to the museum are based in the Ann Arbor area and they are "woke." Did they change the name of the museum so that "Yankee" would not make some people feel uneasy about past U.S. history? My wonder may have no value, but I mention it, given I have seen other museums in the state take on "woke" values and nonsense. At the moment, I officially note the change in name for a place that has old aircraft on display, and it is a place where people can from time to time see air shows, and it is a place where sometimes people can take airplane rides in old aircraft.
There has been a change in Dearborn, Michigan, but it has nothing to do with a name change. The Dearborn Historical Museum has completed renovations to the Commandant's Quarters, and it will now have rotating displays. Today, the Dearborn Historical Museum is made up of the Commandant's Quarters, the McFadden-Ross House, and the Gardner House.
Warning announcement! Because of incidents at schools for children and incidents at other places for people in general tied to "Sharia" or "Islamic Law" or even the religion/political system known as "Islam," I now regularly have this paragraph as a part of each edition of Michigan Travel Tips. The governmental system of the United States of America based on The U.S. Constitution and "Sharia" or, informally, Islamic law, are not compatible and cannot co-exist, and one reason is "Sharia" (et cetera) is a political system, in which there is one-party rule, and that one party is basically made up or controlled by religious leaders who base all the ways of their culture or society on "Sharia" or "Islamic Law." Those who uphold and practice "Sharia" have no tolerance for the existence of Christianity or Buddhism or Hinduism or non-religion, and that is a fact, and "Sharia" is a political system in which women are second-rate human bodies and in which clergy can be involved in determining business transactions, and there is no "freedom of speech" tied to politics in a society related to "Sharia." When you travel around Michigan and in other states of the country, watch for signs that rotten people are trying to teach you or family members, especially children, that "Sharia" is good and "Allah" is good and teach you or family members that the United States of America is bad and that, for instance, Christianity and Buddhism and Hinduism are bad, which I have evidence is happening and which is being brought about by people who are clearly working to make "Sharia" a dominant political system in the world (it is a political system as rotten as socialism and fascism and communism are, since it promotes violence and thuggery and coercion, and it promotes killing of non-followers behind the face of religion and a god, Allah). By the way, a society based on "Sharia" really creates nothing in the long run and does not advance the human society as a whole since it is too busy suppressing the ideas of people and keeping the ideas of the society based on ways of only a few minds up front (the political leaders), whose main purpose is to keep themselves enriched through the work of others, the many--it is a gang-run society really. Yes, if you run across people pushing the idea that Muslim stuff--particularly the true The Quran and not the translations of The Quran that are faked to hide the true nature of Islam--is better than the U.S. is, especially to little children, go public and make it known to other good people and fight back against it.
For a number of decades, since the 1980s, my files of places to see in Michigan have had a listing for the Adventure Copper Mine, which is located at Greenland of Ontonagon County of the Upper Peninsula, and, actually, the place is one of the first in the listings of places in my files, which should not surprise you (given the idea of alphabetical listings). Recently, I decided to see what is different with the place. Old information in my files does not note that the place had an educational program in which people could learn about copper mining techniques, each which might run about six hours. Some time back, the operators of the place created such an education program, and it exists at the Adventure Copper Mine for this summer tourist season. Over a period of about six hours, a person can learn and use tools to actually mine copper ore and such at the Adventure Copper Mine. When I looked for what was new to me, I discovered the educational program costs $280.00 for a person, and it is not something for children, and to take part, a person should make a reservation. As has been the rule for years, people can take walking tours of the Adventure Copper Mine, and there are three main versions. Anyone can take part in the Prospector's Tour, which costs $36.00 for adults, and although the name of the tour has "prospector," a person may not acquire samples. Keep in mind--At no time can visitors get copper samples at the tourist site. It is not allowed! The two other tours--which are not for children--are the Miner's Tour, which costs $76.00, and the Captain's' Tour, which costs $155.00. In essence, the Captain's Tour would be about the only thing that a person could do or see on a single day while vacationing in the Ontonagon County area, since it lasts about six hours. Of course, that idea does not include going out for an evening dinner or whatever, if wished. The Adventure Copper Mine is located at 200 Adventure Avenue, which is along M-38 and is about a dozen miles to the east of Ontonagon.
Every time you travel in Michigan, look up from time to time, and if you see an airplane, wonder whether or not it is a airplane that is being used by the Biden administration to dump stupid or evil illegal aliens into the country. I have heard reports on useful media outlets, such as The Sean Hannity Show (a nationally syndicated radio show), that the illegal aliens are mostly men from places of Asia and Europe and Africa--men of military age. I have also heard the people are basically uneducated people, who speak little English, and they have few useful skills and have little money. Hey, since they have little money, they are very unlikely to spend any money at the tourist attractions in Michigan, such as the Adventure Copper Mine.
