When I was young and when the family traveled, such as on a vacation to Denver, Colorado, the members of the family had no iPods and such to mess with, and, for example, we had to look out the windows and see what was around, which made us better understand how big the planet is and how small we were in comparison. The kids talked with each other, and dad would talk to us, and we sometimes had the radio on, and we did not wear masks while traveling, working to stop the flu virus or something. Today, I can see kids playing with their electronic toys and not looking to see what the heck is around them while traveling, and I wonder what people are talking about in the SUVs or whatever (The "SUV" did not yet exist) these days. When I travel today, I might talk about COVID-19. The next time I travel I will probably talk about something that has been bothering me for a while. I am still hearing about people dying from COVID-19. Why did they die? We never hear from the media about how ill persons are being treated. Are people getting monoclonal antibodies? When did treatment begin on the person who died? Did treatment on a person begin seven days or ten days after it was truly known the person had COVID-19? Good doctors and such prescribe immediate treatment (such as with monoclonal antibodies) and not treatment that might say go home, watch your symptoms, and take aspirin, which has been done over the two years. Of course, I know that the federal government--under Joseph Biden as the U.S. president--has rationed treatment stuff, such as monoclonal antibodies. That is the sign of an evil man. On January 19, 2022, Joseph Biden did about a two-hour-long press event--a very rare type thing--and nothing was said about pushing to highly increase the amount of monoclonal-antibodies stuff that is available throughout the country. Maybe the push to have some new medical plants to make therapeutic drugs set up could have been talked about. But such plants should have been set up over a year ago! Yes, I wonder why some are dying, given what is available to help. In addition, I wonder why the federal government did not push for real new research into taking care of viruses that can be deadly. New technology is needed, and I heard no push for it. In the meantime, Joseph Biden did push for more masks, which are mostly useless, and more test kits, which can be useless, too. If you do not have the medicines to help, what good are the masks and test kids? It is all something to think about and talk about while traveling in Michigan, maybe on vacation, and this edition of Michigan Travel Tips might give you an idea of where to go--at least in Michigan.
I got some great things for Christmas--this past Christmas. But I am disappointed. I did not get a new "disc-golf disc." Do disc-golf discs have such as great turn over as golf clubs do? It seems every day, people change golf clubs, hoping to get a better score at golf. You see it is the golf clubs that give people slices and such. Then again, that could be idiocy. I discovered recently that there is a disc-golf course sort of near me (at least for a portion of the year). It is at Bald Mountain Recreation Area, which is in the Lake Orion area of Oakland County of the Lower Peninsula of Michigan. I wonder if people are already using the course, since the Bald Mountain Recreation Area is open all year. In essence, spring is here, and a person does not have to crawl over mountains of snow drifts now on the course. Snow traps--that is what there is in winter. Oh, disc golf is also known as Frisbee golf. The Frisbee-golf area of the Bald Mountain Recreation Area is sort of in the southern part of the recreation area and sort of near the headquarters for the recreation area. To reach the headquarters for the recreation area, a person has to drive on the section of Greenshield Road between Kern Road and Telegraph Road and look for the entrance. I have to admit that I have not played with a Frisbee in a number of years, but I still have some Frisbees. If I were to go to the recreation area, I could sit on the beach at Lower Trout Lake of the recreation area and polish my Frisbees before using them, and I would have to polish them to get the dust off. And does not a person look better by playing with disc that sparkles in the sunlight. I know any little bit of dust might make my throwing the Frisbees a little off. I might end up throwing one and hitting someone fishing for trout or whatever at the recreation area. Then again, I might throw one and knock a bag of potato chips out of the hand of some little boy who is bounding around in the picnic area. And it would not be good to throw a disc and hit some Japanese-like cutie in the butt while she is hiking on a part of the 15 miles of hiking and biking trails. Yes, dust on a Frisbee can be a problem. Plus, a polished Frisbee might travel farther on the disc-golf course than a dull disc would. If I threw a zinger, I might be banned from the disc-golf course, and I would have to do something else. There is a shooting range at the recreation area, and I could rent a paddle boat for a while. There is no hunting of any kind allowed in the recreation area between May and about September, so hunting is out of the question as something else to do if my playing Frisbee gets wiped out, such as for bumping a butt of a Japanese-like cutie. Since I do not wear a mask outside, as some people do yet because of COVID-19, I cannot hide my identity after throwing a zinger. Okay! Here is goes! If you see me at the Bald Mountain Recreation Area, which is really set up as two separate units or parts, with a Frisbee in my hand, run. Remember--"Four!".
Warning announcement! Because of incidents at schools for children and incidents at other places for people in general tied to "Sharia" or "Islamic Law" or even the religion/political system known as "Islam," I now regularly have this paragraph as a part of each edition of Michigan Travel Tips. The governmental system of the United States of America based on The U.S. Constitution and "Sharia" or, informally, Islamic law, are not compatible and cannot co-exist, and one reason is "Sharia" (et cetera) is a political system, in which there is one-party rule, and that one party is basically made up or controlled by religious leaders who base all the ways of their culture or society on "Sharia" or "Islamic Law." Those who uphold and practice "Sharia" have no tolerance for the existence of Christianity or Buddhism or Hinduism or non-religion, and that is a fact, and "Sharia" is a political system in which women are second-rate human bodies and in which clergy can be involved in determining business transactions, and there is no "freedom of speech" tied to politics in a society related to "Sharia." When you travel around Michigan and in other states of the country, watch for signs that rotten people are trying to teach you or family members, especially children, that "Sharia" is good and "Allah" is good and teach you or family members that the United States of America is bad and that, for instance, Christianity and Buddhism and Hinduism are bad, which I have evidence is happening and which is being brought about by people who are clearly working to make "Sharia" a dominant political system in the world (it is a political system as rotten as socialism and fascism and communism are, since it promotes violence and thuggery and coercion, and it promotes killing of non-followers behind the face of religion and a god, Allah). By the way, a society based on "Sharia" really creates nothing in the long run and does not advance the human society as a whole since it is too busy suppressing the ideas of people and keeping the ideas of the society based on ways of only a few minds up front (the political leaders), whose main purpose is too keep themselves enriched through the work of others, the many--it is a gang-run society really. Yes, if you run across people pushing the idea that Muslim stuff--particularly the true The Quran and not the translations of The Quran that are faked to hide the true nature of Islam--is better than the U.S. is, especially to little children, go public and make it known to other good people and fight back against it.
Here is a special little addition. I live in Michigan. I am the best Detroit television historian in the country (and, of course, in the world). Recently, while at the main home, I discovered a new book about Soupy Sales has been written and published. The book is entitled Soupy Sales and the Detroit Experience: Manufacturing a Television Personality, which was written by a Michiganian named Fran Shor (of Royal Oak, Michigan). The book is a rotten piece--having defective television history information and having political crap (used to promote themes of socialism and communism), which should not be in the book. I say that the book uses the image of Soupy Sales to sell crap! P.S. #2: While you travel in Michigan, it is easy to come across evidence of rotten people or to meet rotten people. One really rotten man is Richard Bernstein, who is a new member to the Supreme Court for the State of Michigan. Evidence of his rottenness can be found in my document entitled Richard Bernstein--A Man Who Hopes You Are Blind to His Rottenness, which can be reached through this Bernstein link. Yet, on Monday, January 12, 2015, the Detroit Free Press did a story about Richard Bernstein to sell Richard Bernstein as something good, though he is not (Ahern, Louise Knott. "State's 1st blind justice aims to be inspiration." Detroit Free Press, 12 January 2014, p. 4A.). I report--I urge anyone who runs a business and loses a court case in which Richard Bernstein was one of the presiding judges to have the decision thrown out or killed through another case, since Richard Bernstein, while running to be elected to the Supreme Court of Michigan, made it clear that he was going to be biased against businesses if he were to be elected to the Supreme Court of Michigan, and that is a fact. Richard Bernstein is a rotten man!
