A crime of the century--I can say that one already fits this set of words, and this century is not very old. For one, the communists of China created COVID-19 in 2019, and it looks as if it sort of escaped before, it seems, the communists were done developing what they probably wanted, such as treatments so that their society would not be hurt in the long run when COVID-19 was released as a weapon, such as against the United States of America. Second, American money, such as from the federal government (such as a unit tied to Dr. Anthony Fauci), ended up in the hands of people in China to make the COVID-19 killer. Third, since January 20, 2020, the Joseph Biden administration has pushed the idea of using vaccines to combat COVID-19, spending a lot of money on that theme, and in the end, it looks as if, as later variants of COVID-19 have showed up, the vaccines have made up a weak attack, which was predicted, given the vaccines have been highly targeted (such as on a protein), and the Joseph Biden administration has not taken take up in earnest the idea of creating better therapeutic systems to combat COVID-19, and the Joseph Biden administration has done little to push the idea that more research needs to be done into therapeutics, such as by creating more labs to produce therapeutics and do research. Since 2019, some governors of states in the United States of America also have said little or have put down what seemed to be helpful therapeutics, and one of the governors was Governor Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan, who several times in press events before the public in 2020 pushed the idea that the medical community was killing blacks and was racist against blacks in relation to COVID-19. And, in 2020, Gretchen Whitmer and a few other governors in the country actually sent COVID-19 infected people into nursing homes, which already had people with defective immune systems, and that killed people. And, in essence, the Democrats--who are made up of communists and progressives and like rotten people--in power have been instrumental in pushing the theme that people who do not get vaccinated are killing others and people who do not get vaccinated should be fired from their jobs, and that was happening, for example, in early 2022 when non-vaccinated people and vaccinated people (such as those who had had the original vaccine shot and at least one booster) were getting the COVID-19, such as the Omicron variant. All that shows a crime of the century!
People who do what can be considered crimes might be put in prison or jail, if enough good people are around to put the bad people in prison or jail, and since the United States of America was founded, there have been prisons and jails in the United States of America, and in Michigan, there are prisons and jails in use today, and there are remnants of old jails that people can see. The Commandant's Quarters of the Dearborn Historical Museum has had two former jail cells on display--cells that were used from 1923 to 1948 in Dearborn. A portion of the History Center of Cheboyan County, which is located at Cheboygan, is made up of a former sheriff's residence and jail. In the Upper Peninsula, there is a place known as Newberry, and it is the site of the Luce County Historical Museum, and the building for that museum is a one-time sheriff's residence and jail.
Berrien Springs is in the southwestern corner of the Lower Peninsula of Michigan, and it is another place that has a museum, and a portion of the museum is related to a sheriff's office and jail. The Jail Plaza and Sheriff's House buildings were built in 1870, and, for instance, the Sheriff's House is a two-story building. Actually, they are a part of what can be considered the 1839 Courthouse Museum complex of Berrien Springs, which is located in Berrien County. Also parts of the history complex are the Murdock Log Cabin [a.k.a. Murdoch Log Cabin] of the early 1800s and the Bennett's Forge, and there is more. I learn recently the museum staffers have a special project in the works, such as for 2022, and that is the staffers are going to be working to update greatly the two storage vaults or collection vaults, which, for instance, need better air systems to protect valuable artifacts that are already parts of the collection of items. In fact, a fund-raiser is taking place with a matching-funds angle. I also discovered the museum staffers are always looking for good artifacts that can be added to the collection of items, and at the website for the museum complex, there is a webpage that explains what types of items may or may not be donated. In essence, the 1938 Courthouse Museum complex is located at 313 North Cass Street, and, generally speaking, the museum is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on a Wednesday-through-Sunday basis, and it is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and some holidays. The museum complex can be called one of the year-round tourist attractions in Michigan. I report that there is no admission to the museum; however, I report that you will find that donations upon a visit are encouraged.Warning announcement! Because of incidents at schools for children and incidents at other places for people in general tied to "Sharia" or "Islamic Law" or even the religion/political system known as "Islam," I now regularly have this paragraph as a part of each edition of Michigan Travel Tips. The governmental system of the United States of America based on The U.S. Constitution and "Sharia" or, informally, Islamic law, are not compatible and cannot co-exist, and one reason is "Sharia" (et cetera) is a political system, in which there is one-party rule, and that one party is basically made up or controlled by religious leaders who base all the ways of their culture or society on "Sharia" or "Islamic Law." Those who uphold and practice "Sharia" have no tolerance for the existence of Christianity or Buddhism or Hinduism or non-religion, and that is a fact, and "Sharia" is a political system in which women are second-rate human bodies and in which clergy can be involved in determining business transactions, and there is no "freedom of speech" tied to politics in a society related to "Sharia." When you travel around Michigan and in other states of the country, watch for signs that rotten people are trying to teach you or family members, especially children, that "Sharia" is good and "Allah" is good and teach you or family members that the United States of America is bad and that, for instance, Christianity and Buddhism and Hinduism are bad, which I have evidence is happening and which is being brought about by people who are clearly working to make "Sharia" a dominant political system in the world (it is a political system as rotten as socialism and fascism and communism are, since it promotes violence and thuggery and coercion, and it promotes killing of non-followers behind the face of religion and a god, Allah). By the way, a society based on "Sharia" really creates nothing in the long run and does not advance the human society as a whole since it is too busy suppressing the ideas of people and keeping the ideas of the society based on ways of only a few minds up front (the political leaders), whose main purpose is too keep themselves enriched through the work of others, the many--it is a gang-run society really. Yes, if you run across people pushing the idea that Muslim stuff--particularly the true The Quran and not the translations of The Quran that are faked to hide the true nature of Islam--is better than the U.S. is, especially to little children, go public and make it known to other good people and fight back against it.
Oh, people might see the inside of the prisons that yet exist in the State of Michigan if the people do something wrong (as defined by good and honorable people, which leaves out a lot of people, especially the communists and socialists and the like, one of whom is Gretchen Whitmer). There are a little more than two dozen of such places; up till about 2009, there had been some 15 minimum security prison camps, too. And some Democrats, besides working to put down police officers, seem to be eager to get rid of more prisons and get more people in prisons put back on the streets. By the way, in 2021, bills were made law in Michigan to affect rules about sending or not sending people to prison and jail, tied to recommendations of a so-called bipartisan Michigan Joint Task Force on Jail and Pretrial Incarceration (which had been created by Gretchen Whitmer in 2019), and the consequences of the new laws have yet to be known, but it is known that Gretchen Whitmer as governor put them into law and that hints of crap in the long run, given what Gretchen Whitmer is. Keep that in mind while traveling in Michigan.
Incidentally, when communists and socialists and progressives make laws, the laws are often defective and rotten, and when such people get free reign to make laws in the U.S. government, the result is almost always crap, like the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act that affects millions and millions and millions of people.
Oh, for the record, I note that I live in the United States of America, which is south of Canada, a socialistic country, currently headed by Justin Trudeau as the prime minister. There are a lot of crappy people in Canada, as there are in the United States of America. I do not have to pay attention much to Canada. I do note that I am aware of the "Freedom Convoy" of truckers in Canada. By the way, the "Freedom Convoy" has sort of been rolling along in Canada since I published the previous edition of Michigan Travel Tips, and on Monday, February 7, 2022, and Tuesday, February 8, 2022, and Wednesday, Febraruy 9, 2022, I was hearing radio traffic reports about the delays at the Ambassador Bridge (and other crossing places between the U.S. and Canada) because of the "Freedom Convoy".. For those who felt inconvenienced, I say--"Go suck on drywall!". Those days were not the first when people had three-hour delays or longer at, for instance, the Ambassador Bridge. So it goes when you have to show up the rottenness of such people as like Justin Trudeau (a hard-line socialist), Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer (a hard-line socialist), and Joseph Biden (a hard-line socialist and a highly corrupt man).

P.S. #2: While you travel in Michigan, it is easy to come across evidence of rotten people or to meet rotten people. One really rotten man is Richard Bernstein, who is a new member to the Supreme Court for the State of Michigan. Evidence of his rottenness can be found in my document entitled Richard Bernstein--A Man Who Hopes You Are Blind to His Rottenness, which can be reached through this Bernstein link. Yet, on Monday, January 12, 2015, the Detroit Free Press did a story about Richard Bernstein to sell Richard Bernstein as something good, though he is not (Ahern, Louise Knott. "State's 1st blind justice aims to be inspiration." Detroit Free Press, 12 January 2014, p. 4A.). I report--I urge anyone who runs a business and loses a court case in which Richard Bernstein was one of the presiding judges to have the decision thrown out or killed through another case, since Richard Bernstein, while running to be elected to the Supreme Court of Michigan, made it clear that he was going to be biased against businesses if he were to be elected to the Supreme Court of Michigan, and that is a fact. Richard Bernstein is a rotten man!
