Here, I go again! In the opening of the previous edition of Michigan Travel Tips, I talked about the University of Michigan (the main campus of which is at Ann Arbor, Michigan)--or I had to talk about the University of Michigan. Again, I have to talk about the University of Michigan, because I have to show off some more of the rottenness of the university and more of the rottenness of the people there, which is one of those highly "liberal" universities, which you might go to to see a museum or a football game. You have to know about the underlying nature of the place. By the way, "liberal" means socialism and communism in this day and age, and on December 30, 2014, it was announced that a man named Jim Harbaugh was made the new coach for the football team, involving a contract that would have the university pay Jim Harbaugh somewhere around 40-million dollars (at least five-million dollars in the first year). On the weekend of January 17-18, 2015, somewhere between 100 and 125 students of the university visited and stayed at two tourist attractions in Michigan--Boyne Highlands and Treetops Resort (which are ski areas)--and, generally speaking, the students were associated with sororities or fraternities of the university, such as Pi Kappa Alpha, Alpha Phi, Chi Psi, Delta Gamma, Sigma Alpha Mu, and Sigma Delta Tau. While staying at the two tourist attractions, students--maybe I can say "the students"--did damage to the two tourist attractions, and, in fact, the damage was rated at many $10,000. Some of the damage was torn down ceilings and smashed-in door. To me, the report of the damage did not simply hint at the idea that a drunk person or drunk persons stumbled into things. On the day that I pushed the previous edition of Michigan Travel Tips, which was on February 10, 2015, some people in Michigan were being light on the students, hinting that the students should not be prosecuted. The actions of the students showed off clearly of the rottenness that can be found in Michigan today, such as at the University of Michigan. Then, something else appeared in the news that showed off more of the rottenness of the University of Michigan. On February 10, 2010, I learned about a story published in The Daily Mail (a United Kingdom publications) on the previous day, and the story was "University of Michigan spends $16,000 on campaign telling students to stop using words like 'crazy' and 'ghetto' to avoid hurting others' feelings" (Warren, Lynn. "University of Michigan spends $16,000 on campaign telling students to stop using words like 'crazy' and 'ghetto' to avoid hurting others' feelings." The Daily Mail, 9 February 2015, 13:00 EST (updated at 13:44 EST).). The story noted how, starting in late 2014, the university was pushing through, for example, pamphlets and posters the idea that students should avoid using such terms or phrases or words as "illegal aliens" and "gay" and "insane" in conversation, and it was noted that students should watch out for other students using the words and work to get them to not use the sort-of banned terms or phrases or words. It was all part of what was called an "Inclusive Language Campaign" (Rose, Norvell. "Top U.S. University Had Asked Students To Sign A Pledge Not To Use These Words." Western Journal, 9 February 2015.). A smart person can see the campaign--which was costing about $16,000--was clearly a form of action to put down free speech or to suppress speech. It is like what happens in rotten countries, in which speech is suppressed. On February 10, 2015, there were no penalties--such as fines or jail time or expulsion--for using the terms or phrases or words that were frowned upon, but a smart person can see a climate of coercion on students by other students is being created. By the way, in the 1930s, the Adolph Hitler administration worked to get children to spy upon their parents and turn in parents to authorities for saying things against the Adolph Hitler administration, and communistic governments suppress speech, such as through coercion or violence. Communism can be thought of, in one case, as elitism with violence and corruption, and the University of Michigan can be seen as clearly leaning toward promoting communism. Remember that while you travel in Michigan. ["Jim Harbaugh Named Michigan Head Football Coach." mgoblue.com, 30 December 2014.; Allen, Robert. "Fallout for ski weekend mayhem follows U-M frats home." Detroit Free Press, 9 February 2015, 8:47 a.m.; Feinstein, John. "Why Jim Harbaugh is worth $40 million to the University of Michigan's football team." The Washington Post, 2 January 2015.; Stafford, Katrease. "Resorts: Damage by U-M frats, sororities nears $125K." Detroit Free Press, 29 January 2015, 10:49 a.m. EST.]
Warning announcement! Because of incidents at schools for children and incidents at other places for people in general tied to "Sharia" or "Islamic Law" or even the religion/political system known as "Islam," I now regularly have this paragraph as a part of each edition of Michigan Travel Tips. The governmental system of the United States of America based on The U.S. Constitution and "Sharia" or, informally, Islam law, are not compatible and cannot co-exist, and one reason is "Sharia" (et cetera) is a political system, in which there is one-party rule, and that one party is basically made up or controlled by religious leaders who base all the ways of their culture or society on "Sharia" or "Islamic Law." Those who uphold and practice "Sharia" have no tolerance for the existence of Christianity or Buddhism or Hinduism or non-religion, and that is a fact, and "Sharia" is a political system in which women are second-rate human bodies and in which clergy can be involved in determining business transactions, and there is no "freedom of speech" tied to politics in a society related to "Sharia." When you travel around Michigan and in other states of the country, watch for signs that rotten people are trying to teach you or family members, especially children, that "Sharia" is good and "Allah" is good and teach you or family members that the United States of America is bad and that, for instance, Christianity and Buddhism and Hinduism are bad, which I have evidence is happening and which is being brought about by people who are clearly working to make "Sharia" and "Islamic Law" a dominant political system in the world (it is a political system as rotten as socialism and fascism and communism are, since it promotes violence and thuggery and coercion and killing under the face of religion). By the way, a society based of "Sharia" really creates nothing in the long run and does not advance the human society as a whole since it is too busy suppressing the ideas of people and keeping that ideas of the society based of ways of only a few minds up front (the political leaders, whose main purpose is too keep themselves enriched through the work of others, the many--it is a gang-run society really. Yes, if you run across people pushing the idea that Muslim stuff--particularly the true The Quran and not the translations of The Quran that are faked to hide the true nature of Islam--is better than U.S. is, especially to little children, go public and make it known to other good people and fight back against it!
While you are traveling in Michigan with someone else or some others, you might try this logic thought--The followers of Sharia (which is Islamic Law) supported and worked with Adolph Hitler (the leader of Germany) during World War II, and Barack Obama supports the Muslim Brotherhood and the offshoots of the Muslim Brotherhood, which follow and are pushing Sharia for the world, using, for one, terrorism and killing, and that means then that Barack Obama would support Adolph Hitler.
The University of Michigan is a place where followers of Sharia--that rotten political system, which some people try to say in a "religion"--gets preferential treatment, and it is a place where a lot of students--it seems to me--are crappy. Oh, where is my proof about the students? Around Tuesday, March 3, 2015, the amount of money that was being spent to repair and take care of the problems caused by students at University of Michigan on the weekend of January 17-18, 2015, was at least $430,000 [Jesse, David. "U-M groups pay Boyne resort $25,000 for mess." Detroit Free Press, 3 March 2015, pp. #A and 4A.], and it seems a big number of students at the university felt the evil doers should not be prosecuted or should not have to completely cover the cost. At least, there were no big protests against the evil doers. That is a sign of the crap that many of the students at the University of Michigan have within them--that is the nature of the students at a so-called "elite" university.
In essence, it was on a March 22, 1954, that the first "mall" in the United States of America was opened up, and the name of the mall was Northland Mall, and it was set up in Southfield, Michigan. Now, the mall is dead, sixty-one years after it had been opened up. It will be completely shut down by the time that I publish the next edition of Michigan Travel Tips. I can say that another tourist attraction in Michigan is gone.
Here is a big shout out to people in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, especially the rotten people who voted for Barack Obama to be the U.S. President. The amount of traffic at the Mackinac Bridge was down from 2013 to 2014, and it is a sign that the economy is not getting better. The Mackinac Bridge Authority reports that 51,050 fewer vehicles crossed over the Mackinac Bridge in 2014 than had crossed over the bridge in 2013, and that means there was at least a $204,160 drop in revenue [I base that on only $4.00 per vehicle, which is the cost for a simple car]. There was a drop of 42,174 vehicles from 2012 to 2013, and that means a drop in $168,696 in revenue at least. And it all means the bridge is getting somewhere around at least $372,856 less in revenue from tolls (related to 93,224 drop in the number of crossings) in year than it did about two or three years ago. I see trouble ahead.
Wow! Wow! Wow! I have yet to mention a place to visit in Michigan in this edition of Michigan Travel Tips, because there have been important things to pass along about Michigan so that you know what can be found in Michigan. Maybe, I should talk about a business, that type of thing hated by socialists, since an operator of a business can gain higher stature--and money--in a society than a do-nothing socialist can (which makes the socialist jealous and makes the socialist willing to do harm to those who do). At Indian River of Cheboygan County (in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan)--Indian River in south of the Mackinac Bridge--there is a place called "Wakefield Cable Park." It is something you might want to learn more about, beyond what I tell you hear. It is a place where a person can do wake boarding and water skiing. And it is not only for pro-types but also beginners. Maybe, I should go farther north--over the Mackinac Bridge. Places north of the Mackinac Bridge need an increase in tourism. At Brimley of Chippewa County (of the Upper Peninsula), there is a museum called "Wheels of History." This place is where a person can learn about logging and milling of the Brimley area, and it is a place where a person can learn about railroading in the Brimley. One of the big attractions is an old train car. Another big attraction is an old red caboose. I notice Wheels of History does not open for the tourism season till May 15, and then it is only open on weekends till June 20, after which it is open from Wednesday to Sunday till Labor Day. Whew! At least, I did not forget to talk about at least one place in Michigan for you to see.
Stay well!
Victor
P.S. #1: Remember: While you travel in Michigan, remind your children or grandchildren that they should never pledge to be a "servant to Obama" or a servant to any politician or sing the praises of Barack Obama, and to help you remember other matters that you should teach children about bad politicians, such as Barack Obama (who can be described as an "enslaver"), see such other documents of mine as Conservatism for Children and What Conservatism Means (which can be reached through this link: Conservatism) and Lessons for Children about Politics and Dangerous People (which can be reached through this link: Children). (Note: I first passed along the subject of not being a "servant to Obama" and the like in the publication entitled T.H.A.T. #58, which can be reached through this link: T.H.A.T. #58.)
P.S. #2: While you travel in Michigan, it is easy to come across evidence of rotten people or to meet rotten people. One really rotten man is Richard Bernstein, who is a new member to the Supreme Court for the State of Michigan. Evidence of his rottenness can be found in my document entitled Richard Bernstein--A Man Who Hopes You Are Blind to His Rottenness, which can be reached through this Bernstein link. Yet, on Monday, January 12, 2015, the Detroit Free Press did a story about Richard Bernstein to sell Richard Bernstein as something good, though he is not (Ahern, Louise Knott. "State's 1st blind justice aims to be inspiration." Detroit Free Press, 12 January 2014, p. 4A.). I report--I urge anyone who runs a business and loses a court case in which Richard Bernstein was one of the presiding judges to file to have the decision thrown out or killed through another case, since Richard Bernstein, while running to be elected to the Supreme Court of Michigan, made it clear that he was going to be biased against businesses if he were to be elected to the Supreme Court of Michigan, and that is a fact. Richard Bernstein is a rotten man!
