Down--that is what the country is, and that is was Michigan is, and that is what potato chips are. Since about 2007, the amount of potato chips in a regular large bag of Lay's (brand) potato chips is down. It used to be 11 ounces. Then, it went down to 10 1/2 ounces, and then it went down to 10 ounces, and now it is 9 1/2 ounces. So, when you are traveling in Michigan on vacation, even for only a weekend vacation-type thing, and when you go into a grocery story, you will see smaller potato-chip bags. And you "enslavists," such as Barack Obama are trying to prove the economy is getting better. I say that it is time for you to get out and really see what I going on, at least in Michigan.
I start in Detroit, though not to promote it as a place to visit on a vacation and spend money, because it is a town with a lot of rotten people, such as black racists. On September 26, 2013, the Detroit Free Press, a communist rag, pushed out one of the piece of proof of my statement, though proving the idiocy of Detroiters was not the goal; the newpaper had a story with "City Council member floats sheep, goats as lawn mowers" as a headline ("Region: Detroit: "City Council member floats sheep, goats as lawn mowers." Detroit Free Press, 26 September 2013, p. 5A.), and the story talked about how a man named James Tate wanted to get sheep and oat in the city to graze on vacant lots. So, besides having community farms in Detroit--think communist-type farms where the people are like slaves to the goverment--some people want sheep and goat herders in Detroit. Yes, the society and culture in Detroit is going from an industrial society to a hunter-gatherer society. By the way, others in Detroit, such as Kerry Rudolph of the Detroit Water & Sewerage Department, are looking to turn vacant lots or vacant areas of Detroit into rainwater catch basins, and it is part of something called "blue infrastructure" ("Gallagher, John. "Nature can aid sewers." Detroit Free Press, 11 July 2013, pp. 1B and 2B.). Well, I guess, if the vacant areas are flooded with water, Detroit will not need goats and sheep. Of course, the goats and sheep would probably be poached for food by the citizens. People in Detroit are just going to have to catch and eat creatures that eat seaweed.
Detroit is not the only defective place in Michigan. Pontiac School District (Pontiac, Oakland County) is in a financial emergency ("Higgins, Lori. "Pontiac's schools get emergency declaration." Detroit Free Press, 7 August 2013, p. 5A.). Hamtramck (Wayne County) is another city with a financial emergency (Egan, Paul. "Snyder declares financial emergency in Hamtramck." Detroit Free Press, 4 June 2013, p. 4A.). And Royal Oak Township (Oakland County), a strong-hold of socialists (temporarily restrained communists) and communists and gays and lesbians) might get an emergency manager soon (Laitner, Bill. "Royal Oak Twp. may be next go get EM." Detroit Free Press, 4 October 4, 2013, p. 6A.). Of cousre, maybe everything is not so bad, since the federal government can always come in a bailout the defective people of these places, especially since Barack Obama is already working to bailout Detroit (Helms, Matt, and Todd Spangler. "A $300M PROMISE: White House unveils plan to strengthen Detroit's efforts to bounce back." Detroit Free Press, 28 September 2013, pp. 1A and 6A.). When you bail out rotten people, such as by taking things, such as money, from good people, you promote rottenness in people. Of course, there is that rule that rotten people make rotten laws and do rotten things, and we have Barack Obama as the U.S. President, and he is truly a rotten man, who should not be followed and whose ways of life should be rejected and not be followed.
When you travel in Michigan, you have to see it for what it really is.
Advertisement: The commercial in this edition of Michigan Travel Tips urges you to get a copy of Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto, which is a book written by Mark R. Levin. This book will help you understand better what Barack Obama is--a man who is purposely hurting the country, even though he is the president of the country--but the book is really about enslavers--politicians--who do not believe in the values of The U.S. Constitution and how The U.S. Constitution is designed to limit the power of the government, especially a dictatorship, over the individual (the citizen). Remember: In the United States of America, it is the individuals who own the government and not the government that owns the citizens, the latter of which is what Barack Obama wants and is pushing for.
It is time to catch up on some things that have changed in relation to things to see somewhat recently. Since I published the previous edition of Michigan Travel Tips, Eaton Rapids, which is in Eaton County of the Lower Peninsula, opened up a new museum, which is called the GAR Memorial Hall and Museum, and the main theme is the Grand Army of the Republic and the Civil War. Hamtramck (which is in Wayne County of the Lower Peninsula) has what is called the Hamtramck Historical Museum, and a part of the new museum focuses on the Col. Jean Francois Hamtramck, whose was instrumental in the founding history of the city in the 1700s. In August 2013, the Iron Ore Heritage Trail was opened up, and it is a hiking trail that goes, in essence, between Negaunee and Marquette in Marquette County (of the Upper Peninsula). Also in August 2012, a new seven-mile-long section of the North Western State Trail was opened up in the Alanson area of Emmet County (of the Lower Peninsula). On October 5, 2013, The Henry Ford (a museum that for much of the 1900s was known as the Henry Ford and Greenfield Village Museum), which is in Dearborn (of Wayne County of the Lower Peninsula) opened up a new portion called the Donald F. Kosch Village Playground, which is designed like a construction site of the 1930s. These are things you might plan to visit in the future.
Promotional announcement: The Landmark Legal Foundation is made up of lawyers, such as Mark R. Levin (of The Mark Levin Show, a nationally syndicated radio show), who fight in court cases against those who do not uphold The U.S. Constitution and the rule of law for the country, and the Landmark Legal Foundation fights for the rights of the individual and against Marxists, communists, and the like. In this day and age when Barack Obama, who, I am convinced, has a truly highly ill mind, is going against the rules of the country while pursuing a goal--I believe--to hurt the country and remake it or destroy it, I believe the Landmark Legal Foundation needs your help desperately; for example, retired lawyers who want to protect the country should consider donating time to helping the Landmark Legal Foundation. I urge you to avoid making any donations to entities that promote manmade global warming or climate change and make a donation to the Landmark Legal Foundation instead (by the way, you should look into supporting the Heritage Foundation).
And once again, I report on how the traffic has been doing at the Mackinac Bridge recently, and what I look at the traffic counts to see how tourism is really going in Michigan, especially for the businesses in the Upper Pennisula. For August 2013, the amount of traffic was up 2.7 percent, when August 2013 is compared with August 2012. That is some good news. When you compared the period of January 2012 to September 2012 with the period of January 2013 to September 2013, the amount of traffic at the Mackinac Bridge is down a lot, as is shown under "Monthly Traffic Statistics" (under "About the Bridge") for the Mackinac Bridge Authority website.
Stay well!
Victor
P.S. #1: Remember: While you travel in Michigan, remind your children or grandchildren that they should never pledge to be a "servant to Obama" or a servant to any politician or sing the praises of Barack Obama, and to help you remember other matters that you should teach children about bad politicians, such as Barack Obama (who can be described as an "enslaver"), see such other documents of mine as Conservatism for Children and What Conservatism Means (which can be reached through this link: Conservatism) and Lessons for Children about Politics and Dangerous People (which can be reached through this link: Children). (Note: I first passed along the subject of not being a "servant to Obama" and the like in the publication entitled T.H.A.T. #58, which can be reached through this link: T.H.A.T. #58.)
