It is said that some people have their head in the clouds, meaning they are nonsense dreamers; a dreamer can be a good dreamer, such as one who dreams to created a new medical procedure or a new business, and a dreamer can be bad dreamer, such as one who wishes for the government, such as that controlled by Barack Obama (an enslavist), to make the world better and make a wonderfully better world, though no single man can make the world better in a way wished for by such a dreamer. For example, Barack Obama's work to put the country under a government-run health-care system, in which the government can decide who gets to live and who should die, has already brought pain to people, such as by leading to an employment system in which more part-time jobs are created than full-time jobs when jobs are created, and that screws up the daily lives of people--since people have to do more work to get jobs and have to take on more than one job and have to do work to have work schedules not conflict, and that disrupts the time parents can have with children because work schedules are rotten, and it even means businesses in order to get the same amount of work done for clients have more paper work to deal with by being forced by the Obamacare law to shift to fewer full-time employees and more part-time employees, which means there are more employees to keep track of. Barack Obama may have taken up "dreams from my father," but he is an idiot dreamer, and people need to pass that thought along as they travel in Michigan, and, in fact, when you travel in Michigan, keep in mind and pass along the idea that Barack Obama is an "enslavist"--a bad man.
Advertisement: The commercial in this edition of Michigan Travel Tips urges you to get a copy of Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto, which is a book written by Mark R. Levin. This book will help you understand better what Barack Obama is--a man who is purposely hurting the country, even though he is the president of the country--but the book is really about enslavers--politicians--who do not believe in the values of The U.S. Constitution and how The U.S. Constitution is designed to limit the power of the government, especially a dictatorship, over the individual (the citizen). Remember: In the United States of America, it is the individuals who own the government and not the government that owns the citizens, the latter of which is what Barack Obama wants and is pushing for.
In the late 1960s, I had a four-inch reflector telescope, and I remember I used it to see one big event, a partial eclipse of the sun (about 78-percent eclipsed), and it was not a really good telescope since it had a chip on the edge of the mirror (which allowed my father buy it at a reduced price as a gift for me), and I used the telescope to see Saturn and Jupiter, and I used it in the Detroit area and not in an area where there were few lights around. The Detroit area and the Grand Rapids area and other city areas of Michigan are not good places to view stars with telescopes, but a person can. A good place to see the night sky is from a place where there are few lights from houses and such around, and one such place in Michigan is The Headlands International Dark Sky Park, which is located near Mackinaw City (of Emmet County) and near the Mackinac Bridge. "The Headlands" has been around since the 1950s, and over the years, it has developed into a place where people can hike, bike, and cross-country ski, and it is also a place to watch birds and see the sky through telescopes. I only recently learned The Headlands International Dark Sky Park became a "Dark Sky Park," and the designation happened in 2011, and also I recently learned it was on November 11, 2012, that a special one-mile paved trail from the entrance to the Dark Sky Viewing Area was opened up, which has along it, for instance, "Discovery Stations," which can be likened to kiosks with information. The "Dark Sky Viewing Area, like "The Headlands" fully, is open twenty-four hours each day of the week, and there is no fee to enter. If you wish to view stars at the Dark Sky Viewing Area, you have to bring your own portable telescope or telescopes (there are no concrete pads or the like there), and you are urged to bring at least flashlights, which can help you walk about, since there are not a lot of lights in the area. You might happen to show up at "The Headlands" when a special event is going on. For instance, if you show up on November 2, 2103, you might come across an astronomer named Terence Dickinson, who is going to give a talk at the Guest House (of the area) from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and if you show up on December 20, 2013, you could learn about "Women in the Stars" from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Oh, the Guest House can be rented; by the way, having four bedrooms, it can accommodate up to twenty-two persons, and it has three bathrooms. On "The Headlands" property is what is called the "Beach House," and it is where most special talks and programs are presented; at one time, it was also a building that could be rented for use, and it had two bedrooms and two bathrooms that could accommodate up to 18 persons, but late last year, it was closed down for rental use. The Headlands International Dark Sky Park is easily found by driving west out of Mackinaw City on Central Avenue, which is taken till it ends, and heading south on Wilderness Park Drive (the entrance will be quickly found on the right side of the road).
Promotional announcement: The Landmark Legal Foundation is made up of lawyers, such as Mark R. Levin (of The Mark Levin Show, a nationally syndicated radio show), who fight in court cases against those who do not uphold The U.S. Constitution and the rule of law for the country, and the Landmark Legal Foundation fights for the rights of the individual and against Marxists, communists, and the like. In this day and age when Barack Obama, who, I am convinced, has a truly highly ill mind, is going against the rules of the country while pursuing a goal--I believe--to hurt the country and remake it or destroy it, I believe the Landmark Legal Foundation needs your help desperately; for example, retired lawyers who want to protect the country should consider donating time to helping the Landmark Legal Foundation. I urge you to avoid making any donations to entities that promote manmade global warming or climate change and make a donation to the Landmark Legal Foundation instead (by the way, you should look into supporting the Heritage Foundation).
To the idiot dreamer, I say--the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2013 was purposely designed to cause disruption of lives and create crap, and one reason is Barack Obama is a man who likes to hurt people, and one proof of that is he supports the ways of life upheld by communists and by the Muslim Brotherhood (pushers of Sharia, a tyrannical political system coming to the forefront in the Middle East).
And, finally, I can report some information that I have been waiting for weeks to report. When I worked at AAA Michigan as a writer/announcer in the late 1900s, the management of the Mackinac Bridge Authority, which operates the famous Mackinac Bridge, was quick in sending information about the traffic-crossing statistics for the previous month, and, in fact, I could get the information sent to me by fax machine in days. It was not till August 30, 2013, that the management of the Mackinac Bridge finally posted the traffic-crossing statistics for the bridge on the web site for the bridge for July 2013. When you compare the number of vehicles that crossed the bridge in July 2012 with the number of vehicles that crossed in July 2013, you find that the traffic was down 2.8 percent in July 2013 over July 2012. That is more evidence that the economy is not doing well. If you hear people say that the economy is doing well, remember the statistics about traffic-crossings at the Mackinac Bridge. In addition, remember, the number of crossings at the Mackinac Bridge for first seven months of 2013 is down 62,385 vehicles over the number of crossings at the Mackinac Bridge for the first seven months of 2012.
Stay well!
Victor
P.S. #1: Remember: While you travel in Michigan, remind your children or grandchildren that they should never pledge to be a "servant to Obama" or a servant to any politician or sing the praises of Barack Obama, and to help you remember other matters that you should teach children about bad politicians, such as Barack Obama (who can be described as an "enslaver"), see such other documents of mine as Conservatism for Children and What Conservatism Means (which can be reached through this link: Conservatism) and Lessons for Children about Politics and Dangerous People (which can be reached through this link: Children). (Note: I first passed along the subject of not being a "servant to Obama" and the like in the publication entitled T.H.A.T. #58, which can be reached through this link: T.H.A.T. #58.)
