Well, let me open be stating the new name of the country as it must be in the mind of Barack Obama is--the "Communist States of America." It is a place where the government actually owns everything, even everything that you make, no matter what is it. Look at proof, which is a comment made by Jay Carney--the Press Secretary for Barack "The Dictator" Obama, who is a black racist and black radical and communist--and the comment was made on Thursday, May 12, 2011: "...We see--the President sees--as a means of holding everyone's feet to the fire to ensure that, ah, we, ah, take the action necessary, ah, to, ah, reduce both spending, ah, and reduce spending in all ways, including through the tax code...." How do you reduce spending through the tax code and what is reducing spending through the tax code? It is, for one, Barack Obama who has been instrumental in pushing through overspending by the federal government, but it seems Barack Obama thinks a way to reduce spending is to do it through the tax code, which means taking more taxes from citizens and businesses--and you. But that it is not surprising that Barack Obama would reduce spending through a means involving the tax code, since Barack Obama believes everthing in the country is owned by the federal government and you actually own nothing. Oh, yes, this is indeed another edition of T.H.A.T., the focus of which is everything related to television.
On Thursday, May 12, 2011, at about 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time, I heard an ABC Radio News report in which it was said that Ashton Kutcher was going to replace Charlie Sheen as a star on Two and a Half Men, which runs on CBS-TV. On Sunday, May 8, 2011, CBS-TV presented Barack Obama on an episode of 60 Minutes, and on Thurday, May 12, 2011, Barack Obama was given or used about one hour of time on The Early Show on CBS-TV. Barack Obmaa is the black radical and black racist and communist! Oh, what is Ashton Kutcher? He is at least a communist sympathizer, and I will forever know Ashton Kutcher as the man who made the "Presidential Pledge" video, in which dozens of celebrities made pledges, such as the pledge to be a "servant" to Barack Obama, and it was a video that was used to promote communist-like ideas to children and teenagers, such as through MTV showings, and also instrumental in putting the video together was Demi Moore, who is Ashton Kutcher's wife, and I have been passing along information about the video in every edition of T.H.A.T. since I published T.H.A.T. #58, in which I first talked about the video. So, you can see CBS-TV is a big-time promoter or Barack Obama--who is a bad man--and people who support Barack Obama, and the producers of Two and a Half Men are promoters and supporters of Barack Obama and his defective ways of life for Americans, which are wrapped up in "enslavism."
When I was flipping through the edition of TV Guide for May 23-29, 2011, I noticed that TCM (a cable network) had scheduled a showing of a 1945 theatrical movie called The Story of G.I. Joe for Sunday, May 29, 2011 (at 8:00 p.m.), and it reminded me of an event in Detroit television history. On Friday, February 29, 1952, WXYZ-TV presented a special showing of the 1945 theatrical movie entitled The Story of G.I. Joe, which features Burgess Meredith as the well-known World War II reporter Ernie Pyle (who died in the Pacific Theater during World War II). The special showing in 1952 was sponsored by Rose Jewelry Company (and involved the advertising agency known as W.B. Doner), and the purpose of the event was to solicit blood donations from the people in the Detroit area, and the event was credited with bringing about 3,800 pints of donated blood to the Red Cross Blood Bank of Detroit. Remember: February 29, 1952--at this time, the Korean War was underway, which was, for one, a fight against "enslavists" (particularly "communists," those with natures like that of Barack Obama).
Advertisement: In March 2009, a book called Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto, which had been written by Mark R. Levin, was published. Through the book, Mark R. Levin talks about how tyranny has been creeping into the country, and he also talks about how the country has been changing from a representative republic, which has a constitution as a basis, to something, yet to be defined, and although Mark R. Levin says that it is the statist who is causing the change, especially those who are a part of the Democratic Party and in government jobs, I say that it is communists, socialists, would-be dictators, and Marxists, such as Barack Obama, who are making the changes, such as by discarding The U.S. Constitution. I urge you to see and read Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto, and pass it on to others, especially teenagers and young adults (and consider listening to The Mark Levin Show, the nationally syndicated radio show, on a regular basis).
On Thursday, May 12, 2011, Jay Rockefeller was a U.S. Senator, and he was one senator who took part in what can be called a grilling of five oil-companies executives in a U.S. Senate hearing. U.S. Senator Jay Rockefeller (a Democrat related to West Virgnia) is a great-grandson to John D. Rockefeller (1839 to 1937), who founded Standard Oil in 1870, and Standard Oil became a big oil company, but Jay Rockefeller did not become like John D. Rockefeller--he became a Marxist politician, whose schooling included going to Harvard University (around 1961), a school known as a breeding ground of Marxists, communists, socialists, and the like (all of which can be "elitists" and "enslavists" and, basically, bad people). At one point during the hearing, Jay Rockefeller was interrogating John Watson (the head of Chevron), and here is a part of what took place:
John Watson: "...As we've described, we don't receive subsidies, Senator. What we do require is a reasonable return on our invested capital. And I would tell you that I don't think the American people want 'shared sacrifice.' I think they want 'shared prosperity.' And what we have...."
Jay Rockefeller: "Oh...."
John Watson: "...we have to offer...."
Jay Rockefeller: "...But do you understand how out of touch that is? We don't get to 'shared prosperity' until we get to 'shared sacrifice.'"
John Watson: "Our oil field workers that...."
Jay Rockefeller: "...I met with, I met with...."
John Watson: "..unable to work today, because we can't get drilling permits or there are leases that are not being made available. They feel that!...."

What can be made of the words spoken by Jay Rockefeller? First, you can see evilness in the man, since he lied about subsidies. Second, you can see a defective mind, since a person has to wonder what is meant by the idea--you have to have "shared sacrifice" before you can get to "shared prosperity," though it could mean everyone of the masses must be beaten down to the point of equality--to nothing--and then all will be able to share equally in the prosperity offered by the rulers, whatever that should be allowed to be by the rulers. By the way, Barack Obama--a hard-line communist and racist and black radical--is spending and spending and spending the country into debt, but Barack Obama wants you to become a part of the "shared sacrifice," and for more on that topic, you should see the entry for Thursday, May 12, 2011, in my document entitled Nonsense Statements and Quotations of Barack Obama, which can be reached by using the link at the end of this document.Were you watching C-SPAN2 On Wednesday, May 11, 2011, particularly when the channel was showing U.S. Senator Harry Reid (a Democrat related to Nevada) speaking on the floor of the U.S. Senate? You probably were not. One set of words that Harry Reid spoke is: "...Founders created a system of checks and balances--three branches of government, for example, two chambers of the Congress--precisely because they anticipated these passions, our Founding Fathers did. They wanted to keep us from losing our way. Long after that system was created, a new independent federal agency was created in the same spirit of checks and balances. That agency is the National Labor Relations Board. It acts as a check on employers and employees alike...." Harry Reid spoke crap, since, for one, the National Labor Relations Board does not put "checks" on employees today, and it is clear the National Labor Relations Board is communist and anti-business, a good example of which is the entity's recent work to stop Boeing from starting up factory shifts where it wants!
Announcement for the novice again: To get useful television-delivered news or Internet-delivered news, go to Fox News Channel, WorldNetDaily.com, "The Drudge Report," and CNS News (which is on the Internet and which was launched on June 16, 1998), since the entities do not blindly support Barack Obama, as do CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV (to learn about bad journalism, you might tune in to CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV from time to time to see how they differ from the Fox News Channel and those mentioned with it in presenting political stories and events, and you should discover CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV avoid covering things that make Barack Obama look bad or show his true nature, which could harm you). If you are unclear of my intentions, I say in different words that you should boycott CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV and hope they lose more ratings and advertising revenues, since they are expendable, and it is time for you to find the guts to be mean and heartless and cancel them--since they are hurting you.
On Friday, May 27, 2011, Mayor of New York City, New York, Michael Bloomberg was on BBC News, and he said: "...As an elected official--as particularly as an executive, whether it's the federal, state or city level--you're job is not to ask the public where they want to go and get behind them, you're job is to tell the public and convince the public where they should go and lead from the front...." These are the words of a man who can be called an "enslavist," since Michael Bloomberg thinks he can act on this own, not taking into account the "will of the people."
Now I must--must--present a teaching segment, which shows up a person--a bad person--who has been a television personality, such as a commentor on Am I Right? (which is a program produced at and aired on WTVS-TV, a PBS affiliate) and who promotes garbage, and that person is Rochelle Riley. On Friday, June 3, 2011, Rochelle Riley had a piece published in the Detroit Free Press entitled "Why Obama's message is getting lost" (Rochelle Riley is a columnist for the newspaper and has pieces regularly published in it) Right from the start of the article--with the headline--the reader gets crap. I know what Barack Obama's message is--it is clear. Barack Obama is an enslavist (communist, socialist, et cetera), and he is a perpetual liar, and he supports black radicals (such as those in the New Black Panthers), makes friends with dictators of other countries, puts down the British and the Israelis, pushed a communist style health-care system for the country, acts like a thug or gang leaders, started court action against the government of Arizona, et cetera. Barack Obama's message comes down to his pushing crap--a crap lifestyle for Americans, which is not surprising to me since I am aware Barack Obama is a selfish man and arrogant man and a jealous man, who, for one, works to knocks down the stature of others so that he will be preceived as better than the others are; for example, that is why he hates private businesses and private businessmen, because they can have more stature in the eyes of people--what Barack Obama might call the "masses"--than he can. I say that Barack Obama is a piece of crap. And here is the lesson, which you will not get on television--I say that Rochelle Riley supports a crap of a man (Barack Obama), and that means Rochelle Riley is a piece of crap of a woman (though if I were to meet her in person, I would use "sh.."). Oh, you should see I have not even gotten to the article, which will filled with crap, such as "...Instead of remaking Washingon, Obama became just the latest combatant in the middle of the partisan gridlock that has gripped Washington for decades...." and "...Rather than remain a symbol of change and raising hopes for a new third political party, Obama became the new symbol of a Democratic Party whose leaders still aren't sure how to use him", and I am not going to evaluate the article. Yes, Rochelle Riley is a piece of crap, and that is my lesson for you, and if you see her on television, expect her to present crap thought!
Public Service Announcement: If you wish to avoid giving a donation to nonprofit groups that support "manmade global warming" legislation or "manmade climate-change" legislation, such as the very bad American Clean Energy and Security Act (which is also known as the Waxman-Markey Bill), give to something better--particularly the Heritage Foundation and the Landmark Legal Foundation, which are organizations that support The U.S. Constitution and are working to defeat Barack Obama's plans to take over the country. (You should see my document entitled "CAP AND TRADE" and Carbon Dioxide Facts and Nonsense, which can be reached through this link: Carbon.)
On Saturday, May 14, 2011, at least some people who saw the front page of the Detroit Free Press must have become heartbroken or dejected or depressed, having had their "hopes and change" dashed, because on that front page was this headline--"DETROIT 1-8-7 IS DONE." And the subheadline was--"ABC cancels the on-location series while praising it, producers say." Yup, that was more hype and crap, given, as I know, the series was not a good series, and the ratings for the episodes in particular indicate that--the ratings, in essence, continued to go down right from the start (even though early episodes of the series got help from the lead-in show, which was Dancing with the Stars). Yes, a bunch of people probably had their hopes for a better life tied to a television series and probably felt the series was going to make Detroit better or revive Detroit, such as through tourism. If a person looks inside the edition of the Detroit Free Press for May 14, 2011, the person would have seen a article by Julie Hinds entitled "Underdogs didn't win, but showed what's possible" (Hinds, Julie, "Underdogs didn't win, but showed what's possible." Detroit Free Press, 14 May 2011, p. 6A.), which was a nonsense piece, as shown, for example, through this statement--"For a while, 'Detroit 1-8-7-' embraced our underdog spirit and ran with it. Somehow, the characters coalesced into a portrait of what gives underdogs the hope to keep going." Really, Julie Hinds passed along crap and propaganda. I must point that on May 14, 2011, ABC-TV had yet to publicly report that the series was dead--canceled--but the official notice soon was issued.
A reminder (updated): Remember to tell your children and grandchildren that they should never pledge to be a "servant to Obama" or a servant to any president, which was a topic in T.H.A.T. #58, and remember to tell them to not blindly "believe" in leaders, and that is a lesson in this edition of T.H.A.T., as it was in the past and will be in the future. By the way, remember, in the "Presidential Video," which is one topic of T.H.A.T. #58, one male says, "I pledge to be of service to Barack Obama."; one female says, "I pledge to be a servant to our president." And make sure your children and grandchildren are not singing songs at school that praise Barack Obama, which has been done by children at some schools around the country since January 2009, since children should never sing songs that praise any politician, especially a megalomaniac and narcissist like Barack Obama.
Since I published the previous edition of T.H.A.T., more bad television series have showed up on network television, and they are really unlikable. One example is Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition, which made a debut on ABC-TV on Monday, May 30, 2011. About the premiere of that series, I say in jest, "Was it not exciting to see a woman lose 161 pounds over the course of an hour of viewing?" (Love in the Wild, as noted in TV Guide, was supposed to make a debut on NBC-TV on Wednesday, June 1, 2011, but it did not show up on that day, and it seems it will not show up till June 29, 2011, and it is yet another reality show, which I do not want to see, but I will look at this when it shows up.) On Thursday, June 2, 2011, NBC-TV gave viewers the first episode of Love Bites, a series that I say is filled with many unlikable characters and situations, and I note, "I hope Love Bites bites the dust."
Oh, I did see some fun television since I published the previous edition of T.H.A.T.. I went on YouTube and saw the old theatrical movie entitled Charlie Chan in Shanghai (which featured Warner Oland as Charlie Chan), and I saw an old Mr. Moto movie (featuring Peter Lorre as Mr. Moto) entitled Danger Island, and I saw Sherlock Holmes and The Secret Weapon (featuring Basil Rathbone as Sherlock Homes), which I talk about in Michigan Travel Tips #86, which can be reached by using this link: Travel #86. I remember seeing those movies in the 1960s or so on local television stations, and they were fun to watch back them. When I recently got done watching the movies, which were not high-budget movies and big-time movies, I felt kind of good and satisfied, which does not happen when you see so many new television series today, which can make a person feel agitated and unsettled and even angry and disgusted, especially when communism and socialism are pushed (as has happened with programs on PBS and even House, M.D. (which is a program on Fox TV)). Yup, if you want to have some fun, look at those old movies on YouTube.
Remember: The Prisoner with Patrick McGoohan was a television show that was produced across the pond and shown on CBS-TV in the late 1960s, and I urge you to find The Prisoner on DVD, maybe from a library, and watch it, and you should show it--all the episodes--to teenagers, or buy it as a present for teenagers.
