    For a long time, people have informally referred to a "television set" as the "boob tube." Since I report on television, I could be called a "boob tube reviewer" or a "boob tube reporter." In essence, when I do my work I could be reviewing the "boobs" on television, though not necessarily the "boobs" of "boobs" on television. Since a "television set" can be called a "boob tube," I could change the title and make a title that better suits the idea of "boobs." With that in mind, I can say that you have come across another edition of Boob Tube History and Trivia (which is really Television History and Trivia or T.H.AT.).
    It has become common practice for television producers to base--at least somewhat--television shows or television movies on real events, and because of a recent event, I have come up with an idea for a television movie, and, here, I am going to pretend I am like a Sheldon Reynolds, Blake Edwards, Glen A. Larson, Stephen J. Cannell, or Jerry Bruckheimer and present the idea for a television movie as if I were the producer or show packager or show runner. I can see how the plot would be about a group of people who wish to ecologically and economically damage the United States of America, being haters and enemies of the United States of America. The goal is to blow up an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico around the time of Earth Day, if not on Earth Day, which is a day celebrated by communists and such and other evil persons. One of the main players in the story would be the current President of the country, who is a communist and worse (such as a man who is quite insane). The President is important to the plot because he has ties and friendships with people outside the United States of America who want to destroy and take over the United States of America, such as dictators in Cuba and Venezuela and other oppressive runners of countries, such as those to hope for a world based by Sharia Law. The President will do things that will help terrorists destroy the oil rig, but he will be surrounded by those who will be directly involved in leading up to the terrorist incident, since they are defective people, such as communists, tax cheats, sexual deviants, and what could be called "environmental Nazi." The President--upon being elected--puts people in place who wish to do what he wants to do, and the team as a whole is able to put together a team of terrorists who will do the actual attack on the oil rig. The planners know they cannot attack the rig with an airplane or a missile or a mini-sub, since they do not want to make it seem that the attack on the oil rig was a terrorist attack. They plan to get people aboard the oil rig who will do what is necessary to make it seem worker error or maybe a defective piece of equipment was the reason for the explosion, and the people on the oil rig--a small team--will be like suicide bombers and die for the cause, which is not an uncommon event for terrorists (such as those of the attack teams on September 11, 2010). The story will not be a story in which a hero saves the day at the last minute. The oil rig explodes. What the story will do is show events that truly set up how the President is involved in the plot. I will even show how the President will loan money to another country, such as Brazil, so that Brazil can do more drilling in the Gulf of Mexico, and I will show that the President will report to his direct partners, such as the government representatives of Russia, that once the oil rig explodes, he will give an order that stops the drilling for oil in waters associated with the United States of America in the Gulf of Mexico, which will cost companies money, which the President, who hates private-operated businesses, wants to happen. The President will also have set in place ways in which to block ships, such as Navy ships, from getting to the site of the oil-rig explosion to stop oil from spreading out to nearby beaches, and although oil might not make it to the beaches, the oil slick that will be created will affect fishing, such as companies that are involved in catching fish in waters associated with the United States of America in the Gulf of Mexico, which will hurt American jobs and the American economy. I have to have a hero in the story or a proposed hero. The hero could be a writer of romance novels, maybe some woman with nice "boobs."   Remember: Sex sells in movies and on television, so I guess the hero should be a woman with nice "boobs." She could be sun tanning on a beach somewhere, wearing a bikini, and she could be working on a new novel, making notes, and she could have a radio on and could all of a sudden hear news reports about the oil-rig explosion, and, over the next hour or so, her mind could wander, making her think of a way in which a terrorist attack on an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico could be made to look like an accident and not a terrorist attack. She could come up with an idea of having "plants" (terrorists) put on the oil-rig staff months weeks earlier, and while thinking about that, she could be interrupted from thinking when a friend shows up or she has to take a telephone call from her agent, who notes that she has a new television interview scheduled in two weeks. Over the next week, she sort of keeps track of the events related to the oil-rig explosion, and she begins to wonder why the President has not treated the oil-rig incident more seriously. What she does is begins to think about her plot to destroy the oil rig, and she works to find out who were the people on the oil rig at the time of the explosion, and she is able to, and then she begins to work on learning who the men who died were and where they had come from, and what she discovers worries her. And so the story is on the move, and, of course, the hero will be put in danger, such as by terrorist assassins. I wonder--Would it be too much of a stretch to have a smart woman with nice "boobs" in my story who often wears low-cut tops? (Well, Jerry Bruckheimer does it all the time with such as shows as CSI: Miami and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, so it seems that the answer is "no.") I need a title for the movie. Let me call it--The White House Connection: The Terrorist is the President.
    So, it is time for a "for-the-record" segment, one in which I get off of fantasy and on to something real, particularly some television shows airing on WADL-TV, Channel 38.1, Detroit:
    On Saturday, May 1, 2010, I came across a new series informally entitled Inside the City, which is a locally produced music series (the first episode of which had one video and several interviews with "R&B" performers and others); what I saw was an episode that was shown at 2:00 p.m. and ran for a half hour. The main host--as I saw it--was a man named Dug-Deno, and the co-host was Dave Wes. Both Dug-Deno and Dave Wes were listed on the credits as the producers and the executive producers, and a gal named Nicci Nicole was another co-host. The host and co-hosts were passable; however, they were sloppy in their speech. The best part about the program was the appearance of a woman named Melanie Fiona, who is an R&B performer; she was cute and spoke well, and the hosts of the show should take lessons from her. The other guests who were interviewed were Mason (a well-known Detroit-area radio personality), N'D AMBI (a female R&B performer), Elijah (an R&B performer), and Angie Star (who works with Mason). The one video presented on the show was not much, since it was another unlikable gangster-rap piece. Overall, the production values were worthwhile for a locally produced show, and the credits presented at the end were short and had almost no information about the production team--from camera operators to makeup and hair staffers. So far, I have only used what I call the informal title for the series, because, in my mind, there is a conflict as to the correct full title of the series. During the opening of the episode that I saw for this review, the logo used made it seem that the series is entitled Inside the City TV & Radio, and during the showing of the episode, I saw Inside the City TV & Promotions presented as part of a logo shown on the screen; however, it seems Inside the City TV & Radio can be considered the full title, since I have heard the series called that in, for example, commercials.
    At 2:30 p.m., on Saturday, May 1, 2010, I was typing material on to a computer-based document, and an episode of Dance Party came on on WADL-TV (recently, the series had been downgrade, losing the 7:30 p.m. weekday slot to only having the 2:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. slots on Saturdays, and what surprised me is was a good tune for the dancers (the first tune presented on the episode), the name of which I missed, but I did catch a line of it, which was "...Beauty girls all over the world...." If the show would carry more tunes like the one to which I refer, then maybe the show will be upgraded again someday. I make clear here--Neneh Cherry has a lesson for the producers of Dance Party, and it is "Stop the scratching and give me a beat...." This episode had Ina and DJ Steady Rock as the hosts. The second tune was another what I will call a soon-to-be forgotten boring hip-hop piece, and the other tunes were weak. The dancers really did seem to like the first tune.
    Let us go back in history and talk facts or real life. The date is May 22, 2008, and the gas prices are high (such as around $3.70 to $4.00 a gallon in the country, as noted by Consumer Reports ("Average gas prices--May 19, 2008." Consumer Reports, 19 May 2008.), and the price of oil was around $135.00 a barrel ("Oil soars to new record over $135." BBC News, 22 May 2008, 21:46 GMT.), and some members of the U.S. Congress are orally attacking the oil or gas companies, working to make the companies appear to be the enemies of the citizens of the United States of America. On this day, U.S. Representatives Maxine Waters (a Democrat related to California) grilled the head of Shell Oil in Washington, D.C., in a committee event and she showed what her inner self is--an evil communist, who wants the federal government, particularly a communist-type federal government, to run and own everything in the country, especially the oil or gas companies. Here is some of what happened:
    In essence, Maxine Waters asked John Hofmeister if the price of oil would go down if companies could drill anywhere off shores of in the U.S., John Hofmeister said: "I can guarantee to the American people because of the inaction of the United States Congress ever-increasing prices unless the demand comes down, and the five dollars will look like a very low price in the years to come if we are prohibited from finding new reserves, new opportunities to increase supplies...."
    Maxine Waters then said: "And guess what this liberal would be all about--this liberal would be about socializ, ah, of, would be about, basically, taking over and the government running all of your companies...." (Note: Maxine Waters stumbled when she gave her answer, which is why it is somewhat difficult to read.)
    On Friday, April 9, 2010, I was listening to The Mark Levin Show, which is a nationally syndicated radio show, when Mark R. Levin played an audio clip of a recent interview between George Stephanopoulos (of Good Morning, America of ABC-TV) and Barack Obama. George Stephanopoulos wondered why Barack Obama is willing not to strike bad nations with nuclear weapons if the bad nations have no nuclear weapons, and George Stephanopoulos presented a comment made recently by Sarah Palin: "Now the President...vast nuclear experience that he acquired as a community organizer, and as a part-time Senator, and as full-time candidate, all that experience still no accomplishments to date with North Korea and Iran...." Here is a portion of the interview between George Stephanopoulos and Barack Obama:
    George Stephanopoulos: "...Here's what she said, she said, 'It's unbelievable. No other administration would do it.' And then she likened it to kids on a playground. She said, 'You're like a kid who says "punch me in the face" and I'm not going to retaliate.' Your response."
    Barack Obama: "Ah, I really have no response to that. The last I checked Sarah Palin's not much of an expert on, ah, nuclear, ah, issues."
    George Stephanopoulos: " But the strain of criticism has been out there among other Republicans, as well. They think you're restricting use of nuclear weapons too much."
    Barack Obama: "Ah, and what I would say to them is that, if the Secretary of Defense, ah, and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, are comfortable with, I'm probably going to take my advice from them and not, dah, Sarah Palin...."
    Warning with commentary (which will exist in every edition of T.H.A.T. through November 2010) -- Since T.H.A.T. #71 was published, the federal government--mostly Democrats in the U.S. Congress and Barack Obama--created a health-care system for the country. To make the laws for the health-care system, the U.S. Congress--the Democrats, such as the head of U.S. House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, and the head of the U.S. Senate violated The U.S. Constitution; for example, bills are supposed to originate in the U.S. House of Representatives, and the main health-care bill (the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010) did not, having officially originated in the U.S. Senate, and the U.S. Congress, under the direction of the Democrats, used the process known as "reconciliation" to pass the health-care bill. In addition, the new law has things that go against The U.S. Constitution or are underhanded; for example, the law requires all citizens to purchase a product--in this case, health-care insurance--which has never been allowed or done before since The U.S. Constitution does not allow such a rule to exist, and in the process to complete the new health-care bill, the bill had an attached bill that had nothing to do with health care, and that other bill when it was made law put the federal government in complete charge of the student-loan system of the country (the federal government had nationalized the student-loan system). At the moment, a national election is scheduled for November 2010. If people exist in the U.S. Congress who are willing to violate The U.S. Constitution, what are the odds that those people would work to block an election in some way, such as by passing a voting law attached to some big law not associated with voting that would block the election from ever taking place?
    So, it's Monday, April 12, 2010, and Dancing with the Stars is on from 8:00 p.m. to 9:32 p.m., and next will be a new series on ABC-TV. That series will be Romantically Challenged. TV Guide says that it is a new series featuring Alyssa Milano. Then, 9:32 p.m. comes, and Dancing with the Stars is still running, and then comes 9:33 p.m. Well, several minutes more go by. Finally, you suspect Romantically Challenged missed the challenge for the day. ABC-TV killed the episode it seems. And that is that.
    Then, next week, Romantically Challenged finally made a debut, but I did not see an episode till April 26. This series has Alyssa Milano, Kyle Bornheimer, Josh Lawson, and Kelly Stables as the regulars, and it looks like a series that is not going to be up to the challenge. The guys that were presented in this episode that I saw looked like wimps and weirdoes, and with such guys around, I can see why Alyssa Milano's character will be romantically challenged. The series looks romantically "flat" (in this case, "flat" has nothing to do with "boobs"). And so it goes in television today.
        Advertisement: In March 2009, a book called Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto, which had been written by Mark R. Levin, was published. Through the book, Mark R. Levin talks about how tyranny has been creeping into the country, and he also talks about how the country has been changing from a representative republic, which has a constitution as a basis, to something, yet to be defined, and although Mark R. Levin says that it is the statist who is causing the change, especially those who are a part of the Democratic Party and in government jobs, I say that it is communists, socialists, would-be dictators, and Marxists, such as Barack Obama, who are making the changes, such as by discarding The U.S. Constitution. I urge you to see and read Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto, and pass it on to others, especially teenagers and young adults (and consider listening to The Mark Levin Show, the nationally syndicated radio show, on a regular basis).
    Here is another "for the record" section. Two television-program listings that I regularly see have gone through changes recently, though one has not really gone through a change but has been replaced by another. TV Guide, which began to be produced in 1953, has recently been given a makeover. For example, there has been a change in typeface on the grids. Also, the makers of TV Guide have moved the "highlights" section for each day right before the prime-time grid for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (for example, the "highlights" section for Tuesday is now right before the prime-time grid for Tuesday); the format was all the "highlights" were grouped together and put before the group of grids. Moving the "highlights" section for many of the days right before the grid for each day is an improvement. And that is all that I will report on for this edition of T.H.A.T. about TV Guide. The Cheboygan Weekend Tribune is produced at Cheboygan, Michigan, and it is distributed to people in, for example, the Cheboygan area. That newspaper switched from offering a weekly television-program-listings guide entitled TV this week to offering a weekly television-program-listings guide entitled Select TV (or fully Select TV Entertainment Magazine), the first of which was issued for April 3-9, 2010. The first publication of Select TV had a disadvantage from the previous product--it cut four hours out of the listings for Saturday morning (from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.), four hours for Sunday morning (from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.), and four hours for weekdays (from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.); TV this week had only missed covering the period of each day from 4:00 am to 6:00 a.m. The edition of Select TV for April 10-16, 2009, had the same times covered as the previous edition (the edition for April 3-9, 2010). Then, the edition for April 17-23, 2010, had a different block of times covered--it was set up to carry listing from 6:30 a.m. of one day to 12:30 a.m. of the next day (meaning, in other words, the guide did not cover the times from 12:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. for each day). I miss having TV this week, which only missed covering 4:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. for each day of the week.
    A rule of life to remember: On March 23, 2010, Barack Obama signed into law the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010, and since Barack Obama is a defective man and a man with an ill mind, you now have, in essence, your future health care determined by a defective man and a man with an ill mind.
    Tuesday, April 13, 2010--this was an interesting day. In the afternoon, on Tuesday, April 13, 2010, I learned through listening to The Rush Limbaugh Program, a nationally syndicated radio program, that the U.S. Congress really screwed up in making the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 (March 23, 2010)--the members of the U.S. Congress were to be participants of the national-health-care system, which, I had thought, was not supposed to happen (normally, the U.S. Congress would make sure it was exempt from any bad things). In the evening on the same day, PBS-associated stations aired a program entitled Obama's Deal (which was a presentation of Frontline), and it was a program that attempted to show how the Barack Obama administration went about getting the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 passed into law.
    Let me talk about Obama's Deal. The program gave highlights of events in the process to pass the act, such as the so-called deals in the early months of work with the medical community, but it did not report that, near the end of the process, the Democrats in the U.S. Congress were considering using what was called the "Slaughter Rule," which would be a clear violation of The U.S. Constitution, and the Democrats in the U.S. Congress did violate The U.S. Constitution by using the "reconciliation process" to pass the bill. The report was mostly filled with interviews with "liberals" (or Democrats or Marxists) who were politicians, political associates, or media persons, such as Tom Daschle (a tax cheat) and John Podesta, but it did have a few Republicans, such as U.S. Senator Orrin Hatch (of Utah) and U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley (of Iowa), who was shown to be--for a while--a Republican working with the Obama administration. The program did show evidence of how people were protesting the idea of a national-health-care law, such as in the summer of 2009, but the program did not make it clear that the protesters recognized what was being proposed by the Democrats, such as Barack Obama, was a Marxist-type medical system and, ultimately, the highly government controlled, if not run, health-care system, which would involve taxes on medical devices and on insurance plans and more. The program did not make it clear citizens were learning well that Barack Obama is anti-United States of America and is putting the country in deep debt, such as by passing the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, which was a phony jobs bill, and the program did not show that Barack Obama is a perpetual liar and lied and lied and lied about what was going into the health-care legislation. To some extent, the program attempted to show how much work that Barack Obama had to do to get the bill passed through the U.S. Congress, though I say that it was not real work for Barack Obama, who is working to destroy the country through all his policies because what he does is fun for him. Really, what was important to the program packagers was that the Obama administration had won the war of passing something and supposedly could show the Obama administration could "govern" the country, though what was passed is truly a horrible piece of legislation.     From January 20, 2009, to March 21, 2009 (when the U.S. Congress was finished with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act as a bill), people slowly learned what people in the U.S. Congress were trying to pass into law, and I note three things in this short paragraph. People learned that the federal government was going to get real-time access to all their financial accounts. People learned that they would required to buy health insurance under duress--penalties or jail. And people learned illegal aliens could be covered.
    The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act was made law on March 23, 2010.
    "For the record," I present credits for the program. The program was written and directed by Michael Kirk, and the producers were Michael Kirk, Jim Gilmore (who was also listed as the reporter), and Mike Wiser (who was also listed as the story editor). The executive producer, working for Frontline, was David Fanning. The program was a production of Frontline (WGBH Boston) and Kirk Documentary Group Limited.
    In essence, Obama's Deal was a propaganda piece, and now you know who put the program together, and you can do research on them to see what other left-wing propaganda programs they have also been involved in producing.
     Announcement for the novice again: To get useful television-delivered news or Internet-delivered news, go to Fox News Channel, WorldNetDaily.com, "The Drudge Report," and CNS News (which is on the Internet and which was launched on June 16, 1998), since the entities do not blindly support Barack Obama, as do CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV (to learn about bad journalism, you might tune in to CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV from time to time to see how they differ from the Fox News Channel and those mentioned with it in presenting political stories and events, and you should discover CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV avoid covering things that make Barack Obama look bad or show his true nature, which could harm you). If you are unclear of my intentions, I say in different words that you should boycott CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV and hope they lose more ratings and advertising revenues, since they are expendable, and it is time for you to find the guts to be mean and heartless and cancel them--since they are hurting you.
    Oh, did your favorite television newscast note that Barack Obama bowed to the head of China on the first day of the nuclear-arms summit (the two-day summit starting on April 12, 2010)?
    Add some things up. Since January 20, 2009, Barack Obama has bowed to the head of China and the King of Saudi Arabia and has embraced the heads of Brazil and Venezuela, and Barack Obama has shown friendship to the leaders of Iran. And since January 2, 2010, Barack Obama has put down such entities as Canada and the U.K., and Barack Obama has shown disrespect--at least--to the Dalia Lama (who had to use the back door of the White House) and the government of Israel. Barack Obama is happy with enemies of the United States of America and unhappy with allies of the United States of America (and if you are unaware, the U.K., Canada, and Israel have been allies for a long time).
    Commentary. When a person leaves a television series before the series is canceled, viewers can wonder why; some people who have left series before they were canceled were David Caruso (NYPD Blue in the 1990s) and Beverly Owen (The Munsters in the 1960s). Usually, the reasons for leaving make sense to viewers and, in time, show up to be true. Some weeks ago, it was announced that Kevin Eubanks was leaving The Tonight Show with Jay Leno at the end of May (May 2010). On Friday, April 23, 2010, David Axelrod was a guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and Kevin Eubanks' leaving made me speculate about why Kevin Eubanks was "really" leaving. Remember: On April 23, 2010, David Axelrod was a senior adviser to Barack Obama in the White House (you should see my document entitled THE CRUD AROUND BARACK OBAMA: My Rule--"Like Minds Get Together", which can be reached by using this link: Crud). During the premiere week of The Jay Leno Show on prime-time television in September 2009, Jay Leno had some highly left-wing people on the show as guests, such as Michael Moore (an outspoken communist and a film maker), and, as you should know, the ratings of that show crashed and the show was killed off several months later. Barack Obama has been hurting the country greatly since January 20, 2010, and David Axelrod supports Barack Obama. Why was David Axelrod on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on April 23, 2010? David Axelrod is no lushish-looking actress. And David Axelrod is no smart cutie, like Victoria Jackson, a former regular on Saturday Night Live. Now, I am just wondering here. Is it possible that Kevin Eubanks is leaving The Tonight Show with Jay Leno because the show seems to be supporting the Marxist agenda of Barack Obama and Barack Obama's defective associates? It would be great if Kevin Eubanks were leaving because he is a good man who does not support what the communists and such, such as Barack Obama and the Democrats in the U.S. Congress, are doing to the country to harm the country--maybe permanently. I guess, in this case, a person can only "hope" (very unlikely to ever know the real truth about the resignation).

     Warning and commentary: It seems very likely you have not heard much about the United Nations climate-change treaty that many politicians, such as Barack Obama, are hoping to create, because the main media, such as NBC-TV, care not if the United States of America becomes just another country governed under a proposed international main communist country and if The U.S. Constitution and rights for you get trumped by international laws, such as Sharia Law and communist rules of other countries of the world. Over the next few weeks or months, you are going to learn how deep the evilness is within the main media of the United States of America.     It must be remembered that, during the week of Sunday, April 11, 2010, radio talk-show hosts reported how liberals were going to do work to make tea-party events look bad in the media, such as by pretending to be tea-party people who were promoting something bad.
    Well, let us see what the Marxist/communist main media is promoting. On Wednesday, April 14, 2010, one of the guests on the syndicated television show entitled The Martha Stewart Show was Rachel Maddow. Rachel Maddow is the host of The Rachel Maddow Show, which is shown on weeknights on MSNBC, which is a highly liberal news network. I did not turn to the program till Martha Stewart and Rachel Maddow were talking about politics, and Rachel Maddow was saying something about those promoting violence, such as, it seemed to me, tea-party people, and Rachel Maddow seemed to be giving hints about such radio talk-show people as Rush Limbaugh, hoping to make Rush Limbaugh an enemy for the viewers to hate. Oh, Rachel Maddow was promoting her special show covering Timothy McVeigh, who was instrumental in the bombing in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, about fifteen years previously, that would be broadcast on MSNBC on April 19, 2010. Then, on Monday, April 19, 2010, Rachel Maddow promoted her special on Today, which is a weekday show shown on NBC-TV.
    So, what you have is Rachel Maddow and associates trying to liken tea-party people to a bomber named Timothy McVeigh, and what they are trying to do is give tea-party people a bad name (which is undeserved) so that tea-party people might become less vocal, and that is the way of the Marxist/communist!
    By the way, around the week of of Sunday, April 18, 2010, Democrats started to push the idea that people, such as tea-party people, are guilty of "seditious" behavior, speaking out angrily against the federal government and are doing something that is evil.
    News and commentary, the latter of which is backed up with facts: Here is news that your favorite newscast probably did not cover; for example, it seems unlikely such Detroit news anchors as Huel Perkins, Stephen Clark, and Carmen Harlan missed passing this news along to you, though the news is highly important. In late April 2010, you may have see commercials on television or heard radio commercials from General Motors, delivered by an executive, that touted the idea that General Motors was doing better; for instance, the executive--Ed Whitacre, Jr.--said in the radio commercial: "...We have repaid our government loan--in full, with interest, five years ahead of the original schedule. We still have more to do. But our goal is to exceed every expectation set for us..." Remember: In 2009, in essence, Barack Obama took over General Motors, (as it did with Chrysler), and, for example, Barack Obama fired the CEO of General Motors (a car man named Rick Wagoner), and a man who was not a car man--Ed Whitacre, Jr , who had worked as a CEO for AT&T--was put in charge of General Motors. On Thursday, April 22, 2010, it was announced by, for example, General Motors that General Motors had paid off TARP loans, and soon, news entities were reporting that General Motor had actually used escrow funds (related to the U.S. Treasury) to pay off the TARP loan, so it was not as if money made from sales was used to pay off the TARP loan ("Lawmakers Accuse GM, Administration of Misleading Public Over Loan Repayment." FOXNews.com, 26 April 2010; Hyde, Justin. "2 from GOP criticize aid to car firms." Detroit Free Press, 23 Friday, 2010, p. 10A.). Remember this fact about the U.S. automobile industry: In 2009, Chrysler and General Motors were reformed through bankruptcy proceedings and parts ended up in the hands of entities in other countries, such as Fiat, which is based in Italy (the deal to sell Hummer brand, which was owned by General Motors, to a firm in China did fall through, though). Around April 23, 2010, other news about General Motors came to the attention of the public through some news entities--during the week of Monday, April 19, 2010, General Motors announced that General Motors had stopped using Campbell-Ewald (an advertising firm based in Warren, Michigan, that had worked with General Motors since 1919) to do advertising work for General Motors, and the advertising work was being given to a firm based in France, which is called Publicis Worldwide (Shea, Bill. "Campbell-Ewald to lose GM Chevrolet ad account." Crain's Detroit Business, 23 April 2010, 4:31 p.m.). By the way, on Tuesday, April 2, 2010, Frank Beckmann of The Frank Beckmann Show, which is a radio show broadcast on WJR-AM, 760, Detroit, on weekdays, interviewed a staffer of Campbell-Ewald on his show, and the staffer passed along little information about the former business arrangement with General Motors, such as why the change was made (but, to me, the staffer did not sound pleased, seemingly upset about what had happened). So it does look as if Barack Obama is still working to give what was once owned by people in the U.S. to people in other countries or give business done by companies based in the U.S. to companies in other countries, and two good examples are Chrysler and General Motors (Higgins, Tim. "Market Share for GM shows slight decline." Freep.com (or The Detroit Free Press), 27 April 2010; Kim, Soyoung. "Chrysler rescue under Fiat still uncertain." Reuters, 20, April 2010.).
    There has been a change in the name of the television-program-listing magazine that is associated with the Detroit Free Press (though it is really two magazines). Starting with the week of May 2-8, 2010, the television-program-listing magazine that can be subscribed to on a weekly basis throughout the state became known as tv weekly (it had been On TV Magazine). At the same time, a new "lite" version of the weekly publication started to be distributed in the Detroit area to people who get home delivery, and the new "lite" version was now called tv weekly lite (it had been On TV Magazine lite). There has been no change in the publisher of television-program-listing magazine or magazines--the publisher is yet NTVB Media.
       Warning with commentary (which will exist in every edition of T.H.A.T. through November 2010) -- Let me pass along information to show why it is important for every good American to vote against all Barack Obama supporters in elections in November 2010, and it means every good American, such as those who in the past have avoided voting, must vote. In December 2009, the citizens of the United States of America and other countries "dodged a bullet" when no international climate-change treaty was agreed to in Copenhagen, which must have greatly disappointed Barack Obama, since such an international treaty would have set down rules that would have supplanted laws in the United States of America, but I here make a note that, about a year ago, some people were reporting on Web sites, such as that of the Gun Owners of America, that Barack Obama was pushing for an international gun treaty, and now that you know more about what Barack Obama is, a bad man, I report that Barack Obama is a type of man who--it seems to me--would really like to have such a treaty enacted since it would reduce the ability of Americans to fight back against enemies who enter the country from other places and to fight back against a radical government. It takes the U.S. Senate to ratify a treaty signed by a U.S. President, and Americans must make sure the U.S. Senate gets more "conservatives" through the next election to make sure an international treaty about gun control would never be ratified by the U.S. Senate.     And I have this note from Saturday, April 17, 2010. I happened to be watching a golf broadcast on NBC-TV in the afternoon on that day. At about 5:19 p.m. (Eastern Daylight Time), the network was in a commercial break and ran a promotional announcement for the episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit that would be seen in the coming week. At one point, the character played by Christopher Meloni was seen giving this line or something very close to it while referring to a female character (a documentarian it seems): "...Michael Moore of hamburger patties." The promotional announcement (and, of course, the upcoming episode of the series) was promoting Michael Moore, the communist and maker of propaganda films, such as Sicko. By the way, I did not watch the episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
    On a regular basis, I tune into the Retro Television Network, one reason of which is to see episodes of I Spy, which is a 1960s series featuring Robert Culp and Bill Cosby. On Friday, May 7, 2010, I caught an episode of It Takes a Thief, which was a series produced in the late 1960s and very early 1970s. The episode was entitled "Project X," and some of the guest stars seen in the series were John Colicos, Christina Sinatra, Wally Cox, Lloyd Bochner, and Keye Luke. The story took place on an airplane, and during the flight, scientists were mysteriously killed off, and they were being killed by--I will say, so as not to ruin the plot--an environmentalist group. The episode had a copyright date of 1970 and was from the final season of the series (the 1969-1970 season). At the end of the story, a character made a statement that, in my mind, wrapped up the whole propose of the producers' producing the episode--it was a propaganda piece focusing on how man is destroying the planet through what man is doing. I wonder if the preachy nature of the episode was one reason that helped lead to the end of the series as far as viewers were concerned.
    Also, on Saturday, April 17, 2010, I tuned into a program on the Create network (which was created in 2006), and I happened to tune in when an episode of Garden Story (a series) was being shown. The episode had a copyright date of 2007, so it was an old repeat show, and it focused on the Missouri Botanical Garden. Right after I started watching, there was a clip of the president of the Missouri Botanical Garden (Dr. Peter Raven) saying something (which I cannot present here as a quotation since I was not running a recorder), and that something was basically that, in one-hundred years, all species will disappear. In November 2009, the people of the world began to learn the manmade-global-warming idea was a fraud, pushed on the public by, for example, communists (and other liars and evil people), and you can learn more about the topic by seeing my document entitled "CAP AND TRADE" and Carbon Dioxide Facts and Nonsense, which can be reached by using this Carbon link. Yet, people with defective thoughts, such as Dr. Peter Raven, are still being seen promoting the manmade-global-warming idea through repeat shows, which perpetuates the hoax of manmade global warming and keeps people ignorant. (Incidentally, the host of the program was Rebecca Frischkorn, and the executive producers were Rebecca Frischkorn and Reuben Rainey.)
    Public Service Announcement: If you wish to avoid giving a donation to nonprofit groups that support "manmade global warming" legislation or "manmade climate-change" legislation, such as the very bad American Clean Energy and Security Act (which is also known as the Waxman-Markey Bill), give to something better--particularly the Heritage Foundation and the Landmark Legal Foundation, which are organizations that support The U.S. Constitution and are working to defeat Barack Obama's plans to take over the country.     On Saturday, May 8, 2010, WXYZ-TV, Channel 7.1, aired a locally produced program entitled The Empire Builders and the Dream Maker, which was hosted by Chuck Stokes, that aired at 7:00 p.m. and ran for thirty minutes. During the program, the theme of which was Ford Freedom Awards, I saw Usher (the businessman and musical performer) talk about how a young person has to dream for something to achieve it and to "sacrifice" for what the young person wants to achieve. I note that Usher did not use the term "work," as in you have to "work" for something or you have to do work to achieve something, in any of the material presented. Without "work," dreams and "hope and change" are a dead issue. (Anyway, achieving success in the music field is a whole lot different than achieving success in almost all other fields, and very few persons get to be "stars" as Usher might be defined. Ask the thousands and thousands of struggling actors and musicians in Hollywood and such, all of whom are "hoping" and "hoping" and "hoping.")
      Announcement (again): Since national broadcast television networks do a poor job of covering information about many important topics, I will try to take up the work of filling in some of the holes. I urge you to see www.saveourhealthcarenow.com and www.noperformancetax.org, because they have important information about the country. The former has information about the health-care industry in the United States of America, and you should and must see it, and you are urged to sign the petition that exists there, and the latter has information about a proposed tax system related to radio stations and music, and the latter will show you what nonsense that U.S. Representative John Conyers (a Democrat of Michigan) is trying to push on the country.
    On Thursday, April 15, 2010, CBS-TV aired another new episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. In the story Hodges (played by Wallace Langham) and Wendy (played by Liz Vassey) sort of led some high-school students through evidence of an investigation to see if they could solve the mystery in which, after a big fire, a woman's body was found in the burned building and the body was untouched by the fire. At one point during the show, one of the students showed off what was written on his shirt, and what was written was "Union of Concerned Scientists." The Union of Concerned Scientists is a highly liberal organization that has pushed the manmade-global-warming idea on the world, which is a hoax and has been pushed along by Marxists and communists and the like (as you can see in my document entitled "CAP AND TRADE" and Carbon Dioxide Facts and Nonsense, which can be reached by using this link: Carbon). CSI: Crime Scene Investigation comes from Jerry Bruckheimer Television and CBS Television Studios, and the head executive producer is Jerry Bruckheimer (though Jerry Bruckheimer is not the day-to-day "show runner"). In the past, CBS-TV has pushed the manmade-global-warming idea on the public, such as through the work of Scott Pelley (one of the regulars of 60 Minutes). It seems to me the management of CBS-TV and Jerry Bruckheimer Television were trying, by showing the "Union of Concerned Scientists" name, to give credibility to the "Union of Concerned Scientists," which is really a small group of scientists and pseudo-scientists when compared with the group of true scientists around the world who refute the manmade-global-warming idea. I think I will avoid the Marxist-operated CSI: Crime Scene Investigation from now on.
    By the way, I went to the Web site for DiscoverTheNetworks and found an article entitled "Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS)," and the article noted that the UCS opposes the U.S.A.'s having or creating a missile defense system, and the UCS was founded by faculty members and students at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1969, and the main address for DiscoverTheNetworks was discoverythenetworks.org, and keep in mind you should not let the words "Concerned Scientists" in "Union of Concerned Scientists" make you think the UCS is made up of scientists--it is made up of some 100,000 members, only some of which can be called scientists (in some form) ("Union of Concerned Scientists." Wikipedia.com, 16 April 2010.).
    Public Service Announcement: Rules for Radicals, which is a book put together by Saul Alinsky (a communist) about 40 years ago, is a book that Barack Obama is very familiar with and follows, and if you wonder what you can do in relation to Barack Obama to beat him, I say, "Well, see my document entitled Rules of a Radical Destroyer: The Barack Obama Case, which can be reached though this link: Radical.
    And did your favorite television newscast cover this story. On Wednesday, April 14, 2010, well-known astronauts Neil Armstrong (the first man to walk on the moon), Jim Lovell, and Eugene Sernin sent a letter to Barack Obama, and they complained about Barack Obama's work to cut a moon program and more. Barack Obama has been cutting back on funds to NASA, and that is hurting and will hurt the ability of NASA to service and repair satellites, such as the Hubble telescope, and get materials into space without the help of other countries, and that it could make the U.S. space program and the United States of America beholden to foreign space programs, such as those of Russia and China, which are, in truth, enemies to the United States of America as it was founded.
     A reminder (updated): Remember to tell your children and grandchildren that they should never pledge to be a "servant to Obama" or a servant to any president, which was a topic in T.H.A.T. #58, and remember to tell them to not blindly "believe" in leaders, and that is a lesson in this edition of T.H.A.T., as it was in the past and will be in the future. By the way, remember, in the "Presidential Video," which is one topic of T.H.A.T. #58, one male says, "I pledge to be of service to Barack Obama."; one female says, "I pledge to be a servant to our president." And make sure your children and grandchildren are not singing songs at school that praise Barack Obama, which has been done by children at some schools around the country since January 2009, since children should never sing songs that praise any politician, especially a megalomaniac and narcissist like Barack Obama.
    I end this edition of T.H.A.T. by talking about a very good television show (though I have, over the years, uncovered some productions errors, but errors do occur when making shows, from Star Trek to Star Wars). The Prisoner with Patrick McGoohan was a television show that was produced across the pond and shown on CBS-TV in the late 1960s. Again I urge you to find The Prisoner on DVD, maybe from a library, and watch it, and you should show it--all the episodes--to teenagers, or buy it as a present for teenagers.
