Special Important Announcement
I now have videos on YouTube, and they are history pieces, and they can be found at the channel for "The Hologlobe Press" (the search term). One of the videos is about my making of a model of 40 Mile Point Lighthouse, and other videos are about Ms. Anna May Wong, Ms. Sandy Benson (The Naked Lady of The Soupy Sales Show of KABC-TV), and WAYN-AM (of Wayne State University). By the way, you can use this Videos link to read about my videos. And I still have a document at the website for The Hologlobe Press entitled A COVID-19 Document that Shows the Rottenness of the CDC, Many in the Medical Community, Many in the Media, and All the Democrats, such as Gretchen Whitmer, Andrew Cuomo, and Joseph Biden, and the document can be reached by using this COVID-19 link.
"Victor Swanson News Special Report"
From time to time, the main broadcast television networks push out "special reports," such as under the titles CBS News Special Report and NBC News Special Report, and ABC-TV had such a report--under ABC News Special Report--on the air at about 9:30 a.m. on Monday, April 7, 2025. I joined it in progress at about 9:33 a.m.. David Muir was the anchor, and when I joined in, a gal reporter was pushing out words. At the time, the stock market was down about three percent, and the news people were working to show how the tariffs imposed by Donald J. Trump were bad, as they had been working to do for a few days. But the report showed the nonsense in the heads of the news members seen, such as the unknown woman who was speaking when I joined in. The gal reported that China was not only imposing additional tariffs to fight back against the United States of America (implied, really, Donald J. Trump) but also was also working to hold back raw materials from the United States of America, such as materials that the U.S. military needs. Did you get that? The U.S. military is dependent on at least a few things from China--an enemy country to the United States of America--and the reporter was not worried that the U.S. military is dependent on an enemy nation for raw materials. And that is my "Victor Swanson News Special Report," showing more of why, for instance, ABC News is rotten and communistic, supporting China more than the United States of America.
- - - T.H.A.T., Edition No. 252 - - -
In very late March 2025 (roughly March 28, 2025, through March 30, 2025), an ice storm hit, for example, the northern quarter of the Lower Peninsula of Michigan, and the biggest trouble for people in that region was in the eastern half of that region, where thousands of electricity customers were without power for days; for example, early in the outage, at least 90 percent of the customers tied to Presque Isle Electric and Gas Co-op at the start were out of power, and the total number of customers for that entity is about 34,500 customers. By the way, of course, telephone lines and cable-television lines were down for days, too, but I will not report a figure on how many. In the case of reporting, I can say that the coverage of the problem by newspapers and television stations in the Detroit area was very poor, lacking the updates on, for example, how many customers were yet without power from day to day and showing where the things were bad, and it is news that should have been reported because many people of Detroit area or southeastern Lower Michigan have secondary places "up north" or go "up north" regularly, such as to fish and hike and ski and whatever. The stories about the problem should have been the first thing or about the first thing mentioned at the start of newscasts for days. But, as I have noted in the past, it is commonplace for, for instance, television newscasts to focus on fluff and useless news, such as another car crash or another killing. While I write this (on Sunday, April 6, 2025, when some 24,000 were out of power in relation to PIE&G), I have at my side an image of a big tree lying on a portion of a house that I am at in Presque Isle County for about a half of each year. A portion of the eaves structure is damaged, so I have work to do. Maybe I shall take photographs of the problem and of my fixing the problem to make a video for "The Hologlobe Press" channel on YouTube. You will have to wait and see, and, for now, there is another Television History and Trivia document to see. [Note: The story, which was short, about the subject in the Detroit Free Press was "Ice storm causes power outages in north Mich." [Fellows, Jillian. "Ice storm causes pwoer outages in north Mich.." Detroit Free Press, 31 March 2025, pp. 4A and 12A.], and the fluff piece--as you can see--did even not start on page "1A."
I have over the years read probably thousands and thousands of "Television Reviews" in old editions of Variety magazine and have read numerous television reviews in The Billboard in recent years, and I have seen many other television reviews in newspapers, and, today, there are no really good and honest television reviewers it seems (which includes the main guy at TV Guide), and the public sees very, very few honest television reviews [Note: Remember: I talked about a review done by Julie Hinds of the Detroit Free Press in Television History and Trivia #248, (which can be reached through this T.H.A.T. #248 link), and Julie Hines' review was about St. Denis Medical], and now I have a television review, which no one else would probably do. On TV: A Black History Month Special was aired on CBS-TV on Monday, February 17, 2025, and based on the name, a person would have a hard time understanding what the television show was about. Based on having seen the show, I report that the main goal of the special was to get black people to like CBS-TV and tune in more to CBS-TV because CBS-TV has in the past and is now rallying around the black cause. No, it was not a look at black performers on television, going back to, for instance, Amanda Randolph of The Laytons and Hazel Scott of The Hazel Scott Show and the likable guys and gals of The Amos 'n Andy Show. The focus was on current black actors on current CBS-TV series and an upcoming series, and those included The Neighborhood, Poppa's House, Let's Make a Deal, Watson, Elsbeth, The Equalizer, S.W.A.T., and Beyond the Gates; however, at the opening of the show, the producers made sure to push out the idea that CBS-TV had been instrumental in putting such shows as The Jeffersons and Good Times on the air. In recent years, it has looked to me that the broadcast networks have been in trouble drawing a wide range of viewers (unlike what producers wanted to do years ago) and are working hard to get inner-city blacks to tune in (as the main audience), and that has led to more unlikable shows and more gutter-culture shows and more bad language in shows (related to grammar) and more violence (such as in relation to city gangs and hip-hop crap). In a way, the special was only designed to attract blacks and not good blacks. And, in a way, the show came off as a bit racist coming from black racists. For instance, a gal named Tetona Jackson (a performer on Poppa's House) was so thrilled to report that it means a lot to her to see black hair stylists around her at the production studios, and, later in the show, Tamara Tunie (of then the upcoming Beyond the Gates) pushed along the same theme about having blacks around her in the production crews. The hosts of the special, which was called An Entertainment Tonight Production, were Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner, and Nischelle Turner made the point that--Kevin and her are the first black team to host such as entertainment show as Entertainment Tonight. Other times on the special, especially at the end, it was hinted that there is still a lot of work to be done for blacks to advance. I say that that is nonsense, especially since it was implied that there is a lot of racism from whites in the country, which is something regularly pushed out by black racists and black socialists and black communists. Near the end of the program, there was a segment that looked at the upcoming Beyond the Gates, and Tamara Tune and Clifton Davis of the series were two of the performers who made comments, and I learned then that the series (which is a daytime soap opera) was developed in cooperation with the NAACP, which--I know well--is a black socialistic and communistic entity today. By the way, before the special aired, I had seen advertisements on CBS-TV for the soap opera, and those advertisements made the show look like it would be a lot of angry stuff with bitchy people and arrogant people, and, then, clips of the upcoming series on the special added to my feelings--there would not be much in the way of niceness to give the show diversity. Yes, but Beyond the Gates can boast that it focuses on a black family! So, the special gave such performers as LL Cool J, Damon Wayans, Damon Wayans Jr., Tetona Jackson, Rocky Carroll, Cedric the Entertainer, Shermar Moore, and Morris Chestnut a chance to push out the idea that they are a big deal, even though they are nothing more than actors--it was a bunch of self promotion and ego boosting for those in a career that really has little value overall (being shallow stuff in the scope of life). On TV: A Black History Month Special did not come off as a television special saluting blacks on television over the years--showing fun things--and, at the end, it pushed out the crap, such as from Wayne Brady (who seems to be an unlikable person in person, based on his spouting the causes of a black activist type), that hinted the country is yet so bad. [Note: In essence, actors, especially black actors, are often supporters of political crap, such as the ways of the Democratic Party, which is a socialistic and communistic entity, and it is a corrupt entity that Elon Musk is showing to the American public through the work tied to DOGE.]
Speaking of racism, I have to pass along these thoughts. Since I published the previous edition of Television History and Trivia, I saw some reports on WHPS-TV (Channel 15.2 broadcast) that were pushing the racist idea that blacks are getting poor medical treatment in the United States of America. Each time that I saw the propaganda reports, I remembered how I saw--recently, over a two-week period--many black "nurses" and "techs" and doctors and others at the Henry Ford-related hospital at 12 Mile Road and Hoover. Are you going to tell me that a bunch of blacks are working to give bad medical treatment to blacks, maybe to kill them? One of the reports that I saw--a recorded thing--was presented on WHPS-TV on March 28, 2025, at about 9:30 a.m., and, for one, the report was talking about breast cancer, especially in black women. By the way, I joined the report while it was already in progress. The report was tagged with "PBS Vitals", and, for one, I saw a host (a black gal interviewing a black gal), and the host pushed out (which is not what a host should be doing--editorializing--in a interview set-up) blacks lack care. In essence, the crappy report originated from "PBS" (the communistic and socialistic-based entity, which is funded a lot by the federal government, which gets money through taxes from the American public), and people of WHPS-TV were willing to pass the crap along.
Oh, on Sunday, April 6, 2025, I happened to jump into a program called Truth to Power with Darwin Griffin on WHPS-TV at about 9:10 a.m., and, of course, it was a program that had only blacks, such as the host (Darwin Griffin), Darryl Woods (who was in the studio), and Keith Bennett (who was on the telephone and was not seen live and who had co-hosted the weekly series the previous Sunday). In essence, they were pushing out the idea that "Washington"--Donald J. Trump--is working to have more racism against blacks in the country. The group had praise for Cory Booker--a U.S. Senator tied to New Jersey--who is a Democrat (really, a black racist and a communistic and socialistic politician), who had given a speech of 25 hours and five minutes in the U.S. Senate on April 1, 2025 ("April Fool's Day"), and the speech was, in essence, a one-day propaganda attack on U.S. President Donald J. Trump and non-communistic and non-socialistic ways and non-corrupt political ways (which are not the ways of those in the Democratic Party).
Here comes another example of ugly television, and I say that it comes from a man who is shit. This section talks about what the person said on television, and it is something that was never said on the air by such persons as Jerry Lester, Jack Paar, Johnny Carson, Merv Griffin, Joey Bishop, and Mike Douglas, all of whom were and are famous talk-show guys of the past. On Tuesday, April 8, 2025, Stephen Colbert spent about the first fifteen minutes of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert bashing Donald J. Trump, and when that was over, I happened to catch Stephen Colbert's saying--"I like sex that feels good on my penis." That is gutter talk, and that is an example of ugly television and a person with an ugly mind. That is a fact! And Stephen Colbert is shit!
Announcement for the novice again (reworked in March 2019): To get useful television-delivered news or Internet-delivered news, try Breitbart News Network (the history of which goes back to 2007), WorldNetDaily.com, Newsmax TV (which was started up in 2014), CNS News (which is on the Internet and which was launched on June 16, 1998), and One America News Network (a.k.a. OAN), since the entities do not blindly support Barack Obama-type people (communists, socialists, progressives, liberals, and Shariaists), as do CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV (Note: To learn about bad journalism, you might tune in to CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV from time to time to see how they differ from the better places mentioned). I note that the Fox News Channel is evolving into a rotten channel, becoming like those that I have put down in this paragraph. If you are unclear of my intentions, I say in different words that you should boycott CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV and even now much of what is on the Fox News Channel and hope they lose more ratings and advertising revenues, since they are expendable, and it is time for you to find the guts to be mean and heartless and cancel them--since they are hurting you. In 2019, "The Drudge Report" was sold, and it should be treated as suspect for now. [Note: Everyone in the Democratic Party in the country is rotten, and the Republican Party establishment has shown itself to be socialistic and communistic within the last few years, and only a few of the rotten people tied to the Republican Party are U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, and Chris Christie.]
[Note: Here is an example of Chris Christie's rottenness. On Sunday, February 6, 2022, Chris Christie was a guest on This Week with George Stephanopoulos (of ABC-TV), which had Martha Raddatz as the host, and Chris Christie pushed out crap. For example, Chris Christie said--"...And let's face it. Let's call it what it is. January 6 was a riot that was incited by Donald Trump...an effort to intimidate Mike Pence and the Congress into doing exactly what he said in his own words last week--overturn the election. And he's trying to do a cleanup on aisle one here...." and "...He actually told the truth by accident. He wanted the election to be overturned....". That is bullshit!]I have reported from time to time that there are three periods of television history--related to commercial television history. The first period was the likable and fun period from the 1940s to about the 1980s. The 1980s nd 1990s are a transition period. The current period covers about the first two decades of the 2000s, which has what could not be found in the first period--"ugly television." In the middle of the transition period--1990--a truly rotten cartoon series was put in the marketplace--for kids. It was a propaganda piece and not an entertainment piece and an honorable educational and instruction piece, and, unfortunately for people of today, it is yet getting airplay on, for instance, MeTV Toons network. In relation to Detroit, Channel 7, WXYZ-TV began to run Captain Planet and the Planeteers on Saturday, September 15, 1990, at 7:30 a.m., and the half-hour series was designed to run weekly at 7:30 a.m. for at least a while. The debut of the series must have been a big shock to at least some people--good people, which includes children and adults--since the showing of Captain Planet and the Planeteers replaced the showing of a series called The Dr. Fad Show (a weekly syndicated series starring Ken Hakuta as Dr. Fad), which was, in essence, a fun and happy show for children. The first episode of Captain Planet and the Planeteers was called "A Hero for Earth". Basically, it opened up with a guy--pushed out as a villian--who had a new and big mobile machine that could extract oil out of the ground and allow him to do that in a criminal way, and then it allowed him to get away swiftly. Then, in essence, the viewer is given an alien gal who notes that Earth is dying because of man--"The Earth is dying!". Then, the gal starts up a plan to get five children of Earth--who are scattered about the planet--to become heroes who will work to beat down bad guys, and they will have the ability to call for help from Captain Planet. Right from the start, the show looked nothing like an entertainment or information series--it was hard-sell political crap. The general show idea came from Ted Turner, who was, for one time a big name in the television industry, instrumental is starting up WTBS Suerpstation or the TBS network. Ted Turner, who was at least a socialist in nature, was married to the actress known as Jane Fonda, who--as history shows--was and has been a big supporter of communism over her lifetime. Based on information covering the period from 1990 to 2024 at least, I can say that many of the performers to the series are or were socialistic or communistic in nature, and some of those people are Whoopi Goldberg (a truly rotten person), Ed Asner, Martin Sheen, LeVar Burton, Sting, and Meg Ryan. It was as if the performers decided to work on the series so that their legacies can be tied to working to save the planet. Incidentally, the series began to run in 1990, and yet the planet is still here, and the planet is not dying, and since 2019, I have had a document on the Internet (at the website for The Hologlobe Press) that shows up the nonsense prediction of 2018, in which it was and is pushed out by bad politicians and media people that the planet will be done for in 12 years (another jackass prediction based on defective material, such as computer predictions), the ending year of which is 2030. A good person has to wonder who set the "12" figure and why "2030" was set down as the end time. For over thirty years, people have been getting indoctrinated by Captain Planet and the Planeteers, one of the worst television series and cartoon series of television history. Bad people often use music and songs to get children to take up a cause, such as take up the cause of rooting or praising a communistic leader, such as Mao. The producers of Captain Planet and the Planeteers did the same thing. The theme song has such lines as "You can save the planet every day!" and "Saving our planet is the thing to do!". So, if you catch your child looking in on Captain Planet and the Planeteers on MeTV Toons, shut of the television set or tune into something else, such as my video about how I made a model of 40 Mile Point Lighthouse (which is at the YouTube channel for "The Hologlobe Press", which has Bob the Builder in it). Oh, you could also direct children in to see such fun and likable cartoons of the past on YouTube, such as Jim and Judy in Teleland, Hashimoto, Colonel Bleep, and Crusader Rabbit.
I have mentioned in the past that the Detroit Free Press is a rotten newspaper, since it avoids covering important stories about the country and likes to pass along jackass and corrupt stories, and I have some examples. In the last few months, the newspaper has not reported, especially in money numbers, the corrupt federal government actions done during the time of Joseph Biden as the U.S. president, during which millions and billions were used for rotten causes or in jackass ways. By the way, I have reported that the newspaper has almost no information about television and radio, especially in relation to the Detroit area, as it did up till about the end of the previous century. On Sunday, March 16, 2025, the newspaper published a truly useless story called "Former WXYZ-TV couple leaves US for Mexico." Incidentally, have you heard Rosie O'Donnell (a lesbian and a supporter of communists and socialists and the like) has left the United States of America, because a non-communist and non-socialist is now the U.S. president (Donald J. Trump). The story in the Detroit Free Press [Rubin, Neal. "Former WXYZ-TV couple leaves US for Mexico." Detroit Free Press, 16 March 2025, pp. 4A and 9A.] is a who-cares? piece, and the story is about John Klekamp and Mike Huckman, the latter of whom I thought of as a jackass while he was on the air at WXYZ-TV--he came off as a jackass. It seems John Klekamp and Mike Huckman were gays together at WXYZ-TV for a while at the same time--circa the very late 1900s--and I only learned that they were and are gays through the newspaper of March 16, 2025. So, to me, it looks as if both were sort of jackasses years ago, and they have a history of being jackasses, given they have left the United States of America for what is a corrupt country--Mexico. And Mexico is indeed a corrupt country, like what the United States of America was under the time of Joseph Biden as the U.S. president and like what parts of the country are today under control of Democrats (who are communists and socialists and other rotten people today), especially some judges who believe they have more power than the U.S. president and must be obeyed over the U.S. president (Donald J. Trump). In thirty or more years from now, people who look back at issues of the Detroit Free Press of around now, especially the edition for March 16, 2025, will see that, in essence, crap was published as a rule in the newspaper or will learn almost nothing useful about the past. Yes, the newspaper had a rare story related to television and it happened to be about two jackass gays who left the United States of America for Mexico--useless news and stupid news--and that is why many Americans are stupid, being given nothing by newspapers as a rule.
On March 9, 2026, the new season for The $100,00 Pyramid began, starting out at 10:00 p.m. on the ABC-TV network. Instead of having one of the people taking part on a first episode for a series being gay, which is becoming commonplace on news series or new season of series, The $100,000 Pyramid had Laverne Cox as one of the celebrity players (the others were Mark Duplass, Peter Holmes, and Thomas Lennon). Laverne Cox is a transexual. Laverne Cox came off as silly (the bad sort of silly) and phony and fake and over-the-top, while trying to give the impression that Laverne Cox (who had been born a man) is really a woman. It came off as ugly television with a freak pushed out front and center.
Announcement: Recently, I have added some new documents to the collection of my documents at the website for The Hologlobe Press. One of the documents is entitled A Document that Dispels Myths and Nonsense of Science-Fiction Books, Movies, and Television Shows (A Logic Puzzle), which can be reached through this Myths link. Another document is And So You Think You're Going to the Moon, Mars, or the Stars..., which can be reached by using this Moon link. And yet another of the documents is entitled And the Stupid Women Shall Lead--and Lead Every Good Individual into Shit, Driven on by Communism, Feminism, and Defective Female Beliefs and Little-Girl Thinking, which can be reached through this Stupid Women link. And here are other documents--A Review of What Television Controlled by Socialists and Communists Worked to Sell as Truth in Relation to the U.S. President Donald J. Trump Impeachment (at Impeachment) and T.H.A.T. Special Edition--The First Helicopter-based Traffic Reporters on Radio for the Detroit area of Michigan (at Helicopter Traffic).
In the past, I have reported that television has had three phases so far. The first phase was from the 1940s to the 1980s, and it was a time, really, when no "ugly" shows or series were made, but there were bad shows, which, for instance, had bad writing or scripting or bad directing or bad acting. The 1980s and 1990s make up the transition phase, during which the rise of "ugly" shows took pace, though I could make a point that the 1970s had hints of ugly shows to come, such as in All in the Family. Since 2000,. the third phase has been going on, and it is easy to find "ugly" shows on television and hard to find "nice" shows on television. Here, I show the difference in a "nice" show and an "ugly" show, which were really series. Between January 1962 and 1967, it was commonplace for people to see Beany and Cecil cartoons on television, especially network television, which had been based on an old syndicated series called Time for Beany (a puppet show that was distributed on kinescope film, such as to the Detroit marketplace). Beany and Cecil (as cartoon characters) first showed up on an ABC-TV evening series called Matty's Funnies with Beany and Cecil, and that evolved in to Beany and Cecil, and the show would get syndicated for years, and episodes can be seen on YouTube today. Recently, I reminded myself of a series called The New Adventures of Beany and Cecil, which began to run on ABC-TV on Saturday, September 10, 1988, at 8:00 a.m., and it ran weekly for only five weeks. It is rare when a cartoon series gets pulled after only having a few airings. The New Adventures of Beany and Cecil has the distinction of being one of the cartoon series with the shortest run, and it did not have a short run because it was designed from the start to be a "limited-run" series or a "short-flight" series. One reason it died is it was bad, and people in the audience saw that it was bad, and the show got bad ratings, and the show got pulled from the air. Today, you can see examples of Beany and Cecil and examples of The New Adventures of Beany and Cecil on YouTube. I urge you to take a look. You will see the difference between a fun show (such as shown in how characters are drawn and act) and an "ugly" show (which has often unpleasant animation and more). By the way, another "ugly" cartoon series that got pulled quickly in broadcast network television history is Clerks, which was on ABC-TV starting on May 31, 2000, and it was shown only twice on ABC-TV (but the series did show up a few years later on Comedy Central).
Why did the rise of "ugly" television take place? A main reason is more people with ugly or unhappy or corrupt minds got involved in making television programs. They drew up in characters what they saw in their minds and what they saw the world to be. They did not work to show niceness and entertain with happiness and fun for the sake of fun. Yes, from one generation to the next, the production people got worse, and, in a way, the audience got worse, too.
Oh, if you like well The New Adventures of Beany and Cecil and Clerks, it shows up the nature of your mind, and it is not good.
Sometimes, television news-related people can bring up stuff that shows trouble in the society. For instance, on March 27, 2025, I happened to catch a segment of The Nine on WJBK-TV, Channel 2.1, at about 9:20 a.m.. Deena Centofanti was doing a piece (which had an interviewee, who was associated with "Gambing Helpline") about gambling. It seems there has been a "spike" in gambling problems or troubles since citizens in the state somewhat recently voted to allow more gambling things go on in the state. On the screen during the segment was often showing--"What gambling does to your brain". It was known that gambling can cause problems, but people voted for it anyway, as they had voted for more marijuana use. And, by the way, the Detroit Free Press has done no article about the rise in gambling problems in the state, but the people of the newspaper were supporters of the "yes" vote for gambling.
P.S.: I have put in this part as a "P.S." thing, since it is the only thing that does not point out crap in this edition of Television History and Trivia. This section is a Looking at the Movies feature. The featured movie is set for the most part on a ship called The S.S. Progress, and the name was and is not derived from political idea of "progressive" (which is a word used by communists and socialists and such as an identifier for the self to hide the fact that they support and push for communistic and socialistic and progressive ways--enslavism for most people (not the rulers)). The movie aired on WXYZ-TV--during the better days of the station--on October 12, 1951 at 10:00 p.m.. Some of the performers--many of whom you are unaware of today--were Jack Benny, Gene Raymond, Nancy Carroll, Sydney Howard, Mitzi Green, Sid Silvers, William Boyd, and Patsy Kelly. It was in 1934 when Reliance Pictures gave movie audiences Transatlantic Merry-Go-Round, and it is the featured movie for this edition of Looking at the Movies, and it is available on YouTube for free.
Remember: The Prisoner with Patrick McGoohan was a television show that was produced across the pond and shown on CBS-TV in the late 1960s, and I urge you to find The Prisoner on DVD, maybe from a library, and watch it, and you should show it--all the episodes--to teenagers, or buy it as a present for teenagers.
Stay well!Vic
P.S.: You are urged to see my document entitled One of "The Rules of Man"--A Rule About Health Care that No Politician May Supersede with Law, which can be reached through this Rule1 link. I have deduced that all the Democrats and most Republicans support the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 and have no intention of killing it, though it should be killed for violating, for one, "The Rules of Man." For example, Republicans Jeb Bush and Chris Christie support the rotten law, and that is one reason that I define them as stupid men and not men who are good enough--in this day and age--to be the U.S. President. I note that the "mandate"--which forces everyone to buy government-approved health-care insurance--violates one of "The Rules of Man," and it is a rule that is attacked in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010. Anyone who supports the "mandate" is not a good enough person or a smart enough person to be the U.S. president--the mandate is "enslavism," and the "mandate" allows government people--who are often usually bad people, as history shows--decide what health care a person can get, and that is bad.
