It is possible to train people to accept bad entertainment and watch it regularly, and actually, that can apply to television shows and movies and songs and stage presentations. By the way, I have a friend who says that the only reason people praised the stage production called Hamilton is that is had a black cast and had rap, and the friend also notes that it is a production that you have to hear on a recording first before seeing it performed on stage to understand what the heck is being said, and even then, Hamilton (which she saw on stage in Detroit) was and is no great thing. Since the late 1970s, the inner-city rotten black culture has crept into all forms of entertainment, especially the music industry through rap, and, today, television often features gutter-like guys and gals as hosts or stars of shows, such as Supermarket Sweep and Abbott Elementary, and Steve Harvey has a new show called Judge Steve Harvey, where he comes off as a gutter guy with gutter contestants and audience, and Judge Steve Harvey is just more of the so-called reality courtroom crap that is all over the television dial through syndication. And if a show has music (so-called music), like that presented regularly on The Tonight Show and on Saturday Night Live, the music is nothing that you want to hear again. Yes, since the 1970s, people, especially young people, have been trained to not complain about bad entertainment and not put down bad entertainment, and guiding that along have been progressives and communists and socialists who say that people who put down stuff are often racists. Here, I put down bad television, and a lot of it is black-based, but I do show some good moments of television.
The new year is here, but I have to backup up in time here. On Friday, December 31, 2021, early in the day, I was aware that some television networks, such as NBC-TV, were going to air some New Year's Eve celebration programs, which has been the rule for decades, and one of those programs was going to be Miley's New Year's Eve Party, feaeturing the gutter girl known as Miley Cyrus, and the program was going to be shown in NBC-TV (the communistic network), and that is one reason I was not surprised Miley Cyrus was going to host the celebration show to be shown on NBC-TV (and on WDIV-TV, Channel 4.1, in Detroit). During the day, I went looking--such as for my Detroit history files--what was aired as New Year's specials on December 31 of each year from 1948 to 1970. I note that, since the 1970s, one of the annual shows has been New Year's Rockin' Eve or Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve or Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest. Between 1948 and 1970, special New Year's Eve shows were aired, and often the shows were local shows. Keep in mind--This section is only concerned with the Detroit broadcasting market. For Detroit-area viewers--and people who were across the Detroit River from Detroit in Canada are in that group--one regular program that aired on WWJ-TV (Channel 4) , which was an affiliate of NBC-TV, was the broadcast of the "Watch Night Service" held at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul (which was located at 4800 Woodward), and that was put on television each year from 1948 through 1963 (though I have to say it may not have aired on television for 1951). You may hear that, years ago, it was commonplace for people to tune into New Year's Eve broadcasts hosted by Guy Lombardo and his orchestra. Generally speaking, Guy Lombardo had started out hosting New Year's Eve shows on radio in the 1920s and did television duty from 1956 to 1976, either by way of CBS-TV or syndication. For people in Detroit, Guy Lombardo's program was not on every year, because, for one, during the time the program was syndicated, no television station picked up the program, airing other stuff, such as The Tonight Show (hosted by Johnny Carson) as a network commitment, if New Year's Eve fell on a weekday, as happened in the 1960s sometimes. For 1948 and 1949, only Channel 4 offered viewers special New Year's Eve programming, such as Watch Night Service stuff; in 1949, th station had the Watch Night Service program and a couple other specials, such as a show called New Year's Party. In the 1950s, New Year's Eve party-type shows were not commonplace, and, for example, CBS-TV had You and '52 (for 1952) and Farewell to '53 (for 1953), the latter of which was hosted by a newsman named Douglas Edwards. For 1959, Dick Clark hosted an entertainment-type show, and it was called Dick Clark's New Year's Eve Party for ABC-TV, which had such guests as Fabian, Kitty Kallen, Mr. Ballantine (a magician also known as Carl Ballantine), Frankie Avalon, and the Fontaine Sisters, but it was a one-shot, and Dick Clark would not have another entertainment-type show on the air till the 1970s. In the 1960s, local entertainment programs were put on the air on New Year's Eve often. For 1961, WXYZ-TV, Channel 7, which was an affiliate of ABC-TV, broadcast a program called New Year's Eve Twist Party, which featured a local comedy guy called Johnny Ginger, and for 1962 and for1963, disc jockeys Joel Sebastian and Lee Alan hosted a show. Beginning with1965, a nationally famous disc jockey named Robin Seymour began to have a special program broadcast on New Year's Eve, and that happened for four years, and each program was shown by CKLW-TV, Channel 9, which was based in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, and each show offered, for instance, clips to popular musical groups or performers of the rock-and-roll field, such as Jack Jones, Deon Jackson, Bob Seger, The Supremes, The Rationals, The Four Tops, Ronnie Dove, and The Byrds. The shows offered up for New Year's Eve in the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s could be enjoyed by the family, such as any little ones who managed to stay awake long enough to see them. I report that, in essence, the entertainment shows offered up in the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s could be watched by the family, too. In recent years, such shows have often had bad singing, rap crap, and lude dancing girls, and NBC-TV hit a new low on December 31, 2021, and on into January 1, 2022, as I would discover on the morning of January 1, 2022, when I fired up a computer tied to the Internet. Then, already well aware Miley Cyrus was nothing more than a gutter girl, I discovered Miley Cyrus had a wardrobe malfunction during the NBC-TV broadcast, and it was when she was wearing a lot of nothing, which is commonplace for her during performances, hoping to set new standards in ludeness it seems [Note: If you are a gal and you are going to wear nearly nothing while doing some prancing around on stage while singing, would you not want materials sewn well, unless you are hoping--or it is hopping?--to pop out at some point during the night?]. I did not see much of her show--only seeing bits when channel jumping--and at one point, I caught a female singer shaking her butt for the camera, and at another point, I caught 24KGoldn trying to sing. For much of the evening of December 31, 2021, where I was, the television set was tuned into the Dancing Into New Year's movies put out on the Movies! channel and then was set to Perry Mason, which was on MeTV.
Here is some more NBC-TV crap. On Monday, December 13, 2021, I caught the special-presentation episodes of American Auto, a new sitcom being pushed out by NBC-TV on a weekly basis. The episodes had a crappy feel, having the mood of The Office, which had been a series on NBC-TV, and the main characters were unlikeable, and actress Ana Gasteyer looked ugly, and actress Harriet Dye had no pleasant moments on her face, and the episodes were not fun or funny. And I say in jest--But do not worry, NBC-TV is happy that the show has LGBTQ actor Michael S. Washington in the cast. On Tuesday, December 14, 2021, NBC-TV pushed out yet another defective comedy, and it was Grand Crew, and actually two episodes were presented. Grand Crew was an unfunny thing, and Grand Crew came off as a sex therapy session, where, for instance, black characters were busy talking about sex and about doing sex and trying to do sex, and that happened for two episodes, and the episodes had nothing else. The shows gave me the impression the series was going to do nothing except talk about blacks and sex, and each episode would be like blacks in therapy sessions.
Okay, here are some facts. Back in the 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, and beyond a bit, there used to be actual reviews of television shows in the Detroit-area newspapers, such as The Detroit News, and some of the writers were Herschell Hart, Frank Judge, and Bettelou Peterson. Today, no one is doing regular and honest reviews of television shows in the Detroit-area newspapers, and, in fact, few articles show up about television (or radio) in the newspapers at all, and when stories show up, the stories are nothing more than items working to sell people into watching the shows, like promotional announcements. On Monday, January 3, 2022, I got a surprise by seeing the front page of the Detroit Free Press, and the surprise was that the main story of the day was an article by Julie Hinds about the television series called American Auto [Hinds, Julie. "REAL CAR ISSUES DRIVE LAUGHS." Detroit Free Press, 3 January 2022, pp. 1A and 6A.], which I already knew was a highly junky series. On the front page of the newspaper, Julie Hinds wrote--"...But as fodder for a sitcom, the corporate side of Motor City carmakers 'makes for really entertaining viewing,' according to Barinholtz, who stars on the new NBC series 'American Auto.'...." Yes, Julie Hinds took the word of one of the so-called stars and worked to sell it. Mostly, the article used a full page--a full page of newspaper, which was page 6A--to talk about the dead-issue series. On page 6A, there was this text--"...The series finds laughs in actual car-related issues. The pilot, for instance, focuses on the launch of a self-driving vehicle with artificial intelligence flaws that make it awful at braking for people of color. Yet, 'American Auto' resonates most as a critique of big business--specifically the vast power invested in bosses who issue orders that affect the lives [of] thousands of their employees....". See the bullshit! There is the political crap about blacks being put down or disrespected, and there is the political crap about capitalism and a big business. Julie hinds had this material in the story--"...Barinholtz says the series explores 'how these decisions are made, and it's not with as much thought as you would hope it is, if you're a worker. It's sometimes kind of just flying by the seat of their pants....". What the hell does Barinholtz--specifically Jon Barinholtz--know about building cars or building anything? Jon Barinholtz is only an actor, and he is only about 42 years of age! What the hell has he made? Yet, Julie hinds quotes Jon Barinholtz, as if the guy has something useful to say about the car industry. Look at this crap from Julie Hinds--"...'American Auto' is the lastest TV show from Justin Spitzer, a former writer for 'The Office' and creator of NBC's underappreciated 'Superstore,' one of the best sitcoms ever about working for hourly wages....". See Julie Hinds is fixated on workers and socialism stuff, and I say that Superstore was not that great, so she is passing along crap. One portion of the article was--"...Spitzer admits he isn't a car person and brought no special knowledge of cars to the project...". Even Justin Spitzer--the creator of the series--admits he knows nothing about making cars and such, so he knows nothing about the work involved in making cars, such as the decisions to do this or that and the decisions that get pushed on car executives by jackass government people with jackass laws. I say that, in essence, American Auto is yet another political piece and anti-American piece with freaky and unlikable characters, being pushed along by progressives (who are bad people), and Julie Hinds' article was a scam and a sham.
Let me go back in time to the 1970s, when I began to start collecting information about television. Some time in the 1970s, while sitting in the Music and Performing Arts part of the Main Branch of the Detroit Public Library and while looking through editions of Variety (the entertainment trade magazine), I first found a story called "Gleason's Apology for a Bum Show" ["Gleason's Apology for a Bum Show." Variety, 1 February 1961, p. 50.], and that story first let me know that Jackie Gleason hosted a new show called You're in the Picture for CBS-TV on January 20, 1961 and then used the show (in name only) of the next week to talk about the show of January 20, 1961, such as how bad it was. Both shows can be seen by calling them up on YouTube (they exist in one video of about 58 minutes, for example). You're in the Picture evolved into The Jackie Gleason Show (a talk-show thing) that ran for a few weeks, and that show was not the famous series that people think about today that had Jackie Gleason. On January 27, 1961, Jackie Gleason sat on a chair on a stage and talked about, in essence, the one episode of You're in the Picture, which was considered the biggest bomb in network television history. That was only about 15 years into the big years of television (though commercial television began in 1940), and since 1961, there have been other shows that could qualify as the biggest bombs in television history, and American Auto should be considered as being one.
And I am not done with the piece of shit of a woman called Julie Hinds (of the Detroit Free Press). On Thursday, January 6, 2021, Julie Hinds got to have yet another page--a complete page--of writing featured in the communistic newspaper called the Detroit Free Press, through an article entitled "PBS special on saving democracy marks anniversary of Jan. 6. attack" [Hinds, Julie. "PBS special on saving democracy marks anniversary of Jan. 6 attack." Detroit Free Press, 6 January 2022, p. 3D.]. Look at some material early in the article from Julie Hinds--"...But as we remember, it is essential that we -- if there is a collective we in America anymore -- comprehend that we're experiencing the most crucial period in American political history since the Civil War era. Journalist Bill Moyers states this hard truth near the beginning of 'Preserving Democracy: Pursuing a More Perfect Union,' which airs at 9 p.m. Thursday on PBS. 'If we don't understand that, and if everyone, Republican or Democrat, Independent or what, (doesn't realize) just what the stakes are, the United States we all imagine and the one we love, because we think it promises equality, will be over,' says Moyers. The country of our imagination wasn't supposed to be threatened by an insurrection. But that is what unfolded last Jan. 6 with the storming of the U.S. Capitol, a violent attack spurred by the false allegations from former President Donald Trump that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from him. Five people died, more than 100 police officers were injured and the peaceful process of transferring power, specifically the certification of Biden's win during a joint session of Congress, was disrupted for about six hours....". Hold it! Hold it! First, Bill Moyers is not a supporter or The United States Constitution; he has been a supporter of the Democratic Party (the communistic entity/socialistic entity) for decades. What Bill Moyers has to say is crap! Second, there was no "insurrection" on January 6, 2021; there was a breach of the security walls of the U.S. Capitol, which U.S. Representative Nancy Pelosi (a Democrat and the Speaker of the House) had allowed to happen, given she had failed to, for one, accept the National Guard troopers offered up the previous day to January 6, 2021, by U.S. President Donald Trump. In addition, U.S. President never incited a riot on the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021; before U.S. President Donald Trump finished speaking at a venue some distance away from the Capitol, the breach had already taken place, and when the speech was over, U.S. President Donald Trump had told people to go peacefully to the U.S. Capitol to make their feelings known. Also, there is evidence--known by non-communists and non-progressives and non-socialists--that there were irregularities (cheating) in the election of 2020, and good and smart people are aware a number of judges in the court system of the country blocked cases from ever getting to the point of presenting true evidence of fraud. By the way, this country is not a "democracy"; it is a Republic. Notice how Bill Moyers used the communist buzz word of "collective" in the writing, and notice how Julie Hinds did not report that only one person was actually killed at the January 6, 2021, event, and that person was killed (shot) by a police officer. And while Julie Hinds was writing her article, the Democrats in the U.S. Congress were working to pass a voting-rights bill, which was designed to take away voting ways that cannot be taken away by such a bill, because The United States Constitution does not allow the federal government to create voting laws. I state--Only a rotten country is set up so that the federal government sets the rules about elections. In the United States of America, only the state legislatures--not the federal government system or the court systems--may set the rules about elections, and that is from The United States Constitution. By the way, on January 6, 2022, Joseph Biden as the U.S. president gave a communistic-like speech before the American public on television, and he lied about the event and happenings of January 6, 2021, at the Capitol in numerous ways (as I show in a document that can be reach through the Done By link), and in the speech, for example, he pushed the idea that the voting-rights bill from the federal government was needed to stop people--his opposition or Republicans--from making voting laws, which, he was aware, were being made to cut down on corruption in elections around the country, such as by blocking non-citizens from voting. Julie Hinds article had--"...But 'Preserving Democracy' takes a different focus. It attempts to answer questions that need to be asked to fulfill the mission of its title. Why do democracies fail? How far back do the roots of this particular revolt stretch?....". I state that so-called democracies fail or "Republics" fail because of the rise of communism and progressivism and socialism and the like! For instance, Venezuela is now a dead country, dying over the last two decades or so, because communism (like that pushed by the Democratic Party in the United States of America) took over, and, for example, the federal government of the United States of America no longer urges American citizens to travel to Venezuela. Non-communism and non-socialism and non-progressivism do not kill countries. Right now, the Democratic Party in the United States of America is a communistic party in hard-line form! Notice this material from the article--"...The two-hour documentary provides context for the events of last Jan. 6, through interviews with academics, authors, activists and former and current government officials, including Pulitzer-winning author and Georgetown University professor Marcia Chatelain and Washington Post reporter Robert Costa, who co-authored the best-seller 'Peril,' about the last-ditch efforts of Trump to retain power....". I report that Marcia Chatelain and Robert Costa are propaganda writers and communistic writers being associated with communistic entities. It is very unlikely the special will push out the words of anti-communists and anti-socialists and anti-progressives, such as Julie Kelly, whose new book entitled January 6: How Democrats Used the Capitol Protest to Launch a War on Terror Against the Political Right (which had been released on December 28, 2021), which is an actual worthwhile book and which shows the nonsense from the federal government under the Joseph Biden administration over the last year related to the breach event of January 6, 2021, such as the so-called official investigation of that day. Look that this communistic thought from David Bell (of Princeton University) that Julie Hinds put in the article--"...As Bell, explains, the democratic system comes with a built-in danger. By allowing freedom of speech and the freedom to form a political movement, it carries the potential for authoritarians and extremists to manipulate those freedoms. Democracy 'allows for these movements to find supporters. It allows them to tell lies, to spread disinformation. It's always a very difficult line democratic regimes are treading.'....". Hold it! That is more bullshit! And the theme was pushed out by a person who thinks like a communist. You see, the theme being pushed is democracies are bad because people have free speech. I report that free speech does not lead to the falling of democracies; free speech allows people to show up ignorance and lies of communists and socialists and progressives. In a country with free speech, it means the government, which is going bad, cannot stop people from showing up the rottenness of the government through speech or writing, as this document does, and cannot then stop people from putting out the bad politicians through elections and such [Note: In countries without free speech, only the rotten people--the authorities and the rulers--get to speak, and they have to be listened to, and their words have to be taken as truth, though they are not, and in such countries, the people--under fear of pain or death--might have to fake crying and weaping in public at times of funerals and rememberances for leaders, as happens in North Korea, which is corrupt free speech.]. I say in jest--If only the government, like that supported by Julie Hinds, could knock down free speech, the world would be better. Then there is this material in the article from Julie Hinds--"...'Preserving Democracy' looks frankly and honestly at how the democratic ideals conceived nearly 250 years ago by the founding fathers were meant to be applied only to white men who owned property. As New Yorker writer Jelani Cobbs says, this fact has been glossed over by our national mythology. And when wrongs have been addressed, the expansion of rights has inevitably stirred backlash. The end of slavery provoked the rise of the Jim Crow South. Black men and women were still terrorized and murdered by white supremacists and prevented from exercising their constitutional rights....". Stop! That is big bullshit from Julie Hinds. It was the Democratic Party, which is the party that she is backing as good, that was responsible for blocking blacks from voting in the South, such as through Jim Crow laws, and it was the KKK (led by Democrats) that was against blacks, and, for example, U.S. Senator Robert Byrd (who was a Democrat and who died a few years ago) had been a member of the KKK at one time, and, yet, at the time of Robert Byrd's death and funeral, Barack Obama (a black) praised Robert Byrd. More of the article is--"As the documentary shows unequivocally, even the election of President Barack Obama in 2008, hailed by some as the beginning of a post-racial society, couldn't break the cycle of progress followed by backlash. The media tended to avoid the issue of racism aimed at Obama when possible, but as Costa says, 'it's hard to come up with another explanation for the level of hate and the level of outrage about the first Black president.'....". Hold it!. Hey, shit-head Julie Hinds. Good and honorable people knew the first black president was a supporter of communists and terrorists, such as the Weather Underground people of the the 1960s and 1970s, and Barack Obama had them as friends, though the friends had a history of blowing up federal-government things. Also, good and honorable people saw Barack Obama as the U.S. president go to other countries and put down the United States of America in speeches. And Barack Obama worked to create a system in which only the federal government can determine the health care of citizens, and only a highly rotten county has the federal government in charged of the medical system, which then can determine who gets care and who does not get care, and people who oppose the government--being non-supporters of the communists and socialists and progressives in power--can get wiped out by not getting good care. And Barack Obama did more that was rotten! Later, the article had--"...The film also covers the economic pressures of the new millennium that reduced opportunities for blue-collar workers and helped spur the rise of Donald Trump. But from the moment he declared his presidential candidacy with remarks that included a reference to Mexico sending its 'rapists' to the United States, Trump's rhetoric has shaped where we are now...". Bullshit! U.S. President Donald Trump blocked the free entry in to the United States of America by way of Mexico of thousands and thousands of illegal aliens during his time as the U.S. president, and during the time of Donald J. Trump as the U.S. president, the employment rate for blacks and asians and others went up in the country, and the economy was going well, and then COVID-19 hit, which was the creation of the communists of China, who had gotten some money for research from, for instance, entities tied to Dr. Anthony Fauci (of the U.S. federal government), who would lie to a congressional committee about how virus-research money was used, such as in relation to "gain-of-function" research [Note: Chinese communists and American communists pushed death on the people of the world through COVID-19!]. The article also had---"...'He [Donald Trump] understood why people were so angry, and he encouraged their anger. He helped them identify scapegoats,' says Fiona Hill, a former National Security Council specialist to Russian and European affairs who testified at the 2019 House hearings before the first impeachment of Trump....". I have a number of documents at the website for The Hologlobe Press that show the impeachment stuff of roughly four years from the Democrats and some Republicans was a lie and a sham; the documents are history documents with facts and such. Incidentally, during the time of Barack Obama as the U.S. president, the economy was no boom time, such as for blacks, even though Barack Obama was the first so-called black U.S. president. And Barack Obama was no scapegoat--he was rotten and a perpetual liar (as two very big documents of mine that are on the Internet show). Yet more of the article is--"...With a measured, strenuously researched approach, the documentary traces how the Trump presidency fomented a political fever through social media and denied whatever facts didn't fit its narrative. By the time of the 2020 election, claims of massive voter fraud seemed inevitable in an administration that dismissed anything it didn't like as fake news....". Hey, shit-head Julie Hinds, I have a background in media that covers about fifty years, and during the time of Donald J. Trump as the U.S. president, the main media put out so many lies about Donald J. Trump that the lies cannot be counted--they were endless--and in documents that I have on the Internet, such as about television, I show some of the lies and fake news from the media, and U.S. President Donald J. Trump fought back, such as through social media, which angered people like you. What was said about Donald J. Trump from people like you was bullshit on a daily basis! Take a look at this material from the article--"It is possible to have a failed coup on Jan. 6, it is also possible to have a successful coup. It sounds very simple, but it's a huge change,' says Masha Gessen, the author of 'Surviving Autocracy.'....". Hold it again! No one can cite anything that U.S. President Donald J. Trump did while in office that showed he was an authoritarian or a dictator; for example, when he challenged some type of rule, such as from the U.S. Congress, he took up the matter in court, which is legal and had been done in the past by other U.S. presidents. And there was no coup on January 6, 2021, and there was no threat of a coup on January 6, 2021, and even today, people who have been taken to court for having been involved in breaching the Capitol security walls on January 6, 2021, have for the most part only been charged and convicted of trespassing, and no one has been convicted of taking guns and such in to the Capitol on January 6, 2021. If the election bill on hold in the U.S. Congress should get pushed into law by the Democrats in the U.S. Congress and Joseph Biden, then you will have a coup, and then you will have a more communistic country, which then will have illegal rules about elections in place at least in relation to The United States Constitution (till they can be wiped out, if ever). Through the article, Julie Hinds showed that she is rotten and evil and showed Preserving Democracy: Pursuing a More Perfect Union is rotten television!
[Note: When an investigation is done on the backgrounds of the persons whom Julie Hinds mentioned in her article, a good and smart person--a non-communist or non-socialist or non-progressive--can see that the group is made up of bad people, hardly people who uphold the ways of The United States Constitution. At least two have ties to and likes for the Soviet Union or Russia, having spent time at the place or places, and they are Fiona Hill and Masha Gessen. Jelani Cobbs comes off as another "black activist" or black socialist or black slug at least, and one thing that shows off his rotten nature is he wrote a book praising a Barack Obama (who is a rotten man) called The Substance of Hope: Barack Obama and the Paradox of Progress. Several people have ties to Harvard University, the elitist and communistic university (especially in relation to teaching history and journalism and political thought), and one of those is David Bell, who pushes out the idea that free speech can be or is bad. Masha Gessen is another "nonbinary" and "transexual" (which shows a mind defect). And Fiona Hill is truly rotten, being involved in the first impeachment event (a kangaroo-court-like event and big-lies event) related to U.S. President Donald J. Trump, which was a sham and scam on the American public, with, for example, closed-door hearings in the U.S. House of Representatives; Fiona Hill, who was born in England, is considered a "key witness" related to putting down U.S. President Donald Trump and working to have U.S. President Donald Trump impeached the first time, yet she offered up nothing in her hearings testimony that showed impeachable themes, as good and honorable people learned by seeing or hearing her testimony, and, today, Fiona Hill is hailed as great, such as in rotten articles, such as "Former White House Russia expert Fiona Hill warns the U.S. is on the path to autocracy" ["Former White House Russia expert Fiona Hill warns the U.S. is on the path to autocracy." npr.org, 6 October 2021, 11:52 a.m. ET.], which was a fluff piece but worked to help push the idea that Donald J. Trump and his associates and supporters are trying to make the United States of America an autocracy, which is more of the big lie from the Democrats, who continually accuse others of what they are actually doing, an old playbook strategy of communists). And, by the way, the book entitled Peril (September 21, 2021) was mostly knocked down by critics as a nothing piece, even by some people who are "liberals." The highlights of the backgrounds of the people taken as a group show the political nature of all involved in the television show and the article, and it is not good.]Announcement for the novice again (reworked in March 2019): To get useful television-delivered news or Internet-delivered news, try Breitbart News Network (the history of which goes back to 2007), WorldNetDaily.com, Newsmax TV (which was started up in 2014), CNS News (which is on the Internet and which was launched on June 16, 1998), and One America News Network (a.k.a. OAN), since the entities do not blindly support Barack Obama-type people (communists, socialists, progressives, liberals, and Shariaists), as do CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV (Note: To learn about bad journalism, you might tune in to CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV from time to time to see how they differ from the better places mentioned). I note that the Fox News Channel is evolving into a rotten channel, becoming like those that I have put down in this paragraph. If you are unclear of my intentions, I say in different words that you should boycott CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV and even now much of what is on the Fox News Channel and hope they lose more ratings and advertising revenues, since they are expendable, and it is time for you to find the guts to be mean and heartless and cancel them--since they are hurting you. In 2019, "The Drudge Report" was sold, and it should be treated as suspect for now. [Note: Everyone in the Democratic Party in the country is rotten, and the Republican Party establishment has shown itself to be socialistic and communistic within the last few years, and only a few of the rotten people tied to the Republican Party are U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, and Chris Christie.]
It seems to me that most of the people in the upper levels of the federal governments--all the Democrats and some of the Republicans--like the ways of socialism and communism, which are political systems that include tight control to the private sector and business, and their wishes for the ways of socialism and communism are rotten, and socialism and communism are rotten ideas. "Capitialism" is not a political system--it is a business system or it is the way of doing business--and "capitalism" has been around as long as man has, since people have been doing business for centuries and centuries. Some governments let the ways of capitalism go along--not getting much involved in what people can make and do and sell and trade--and most governments get in the way of letting people conduct capitalism or business, such as the work to make things and to try to sell things. In a way, it is the buyers and sellers who create the ways of capitalism and even the rules of capitalism--through their buying and selling actions from moment to moment and over time--and it is not government that creates the ways of capitalism, and it is government that can distort the ways of capitalism through laws, and government can distort the ways of capitalism so much through laws that businesses cannot exist or can go out of business or can lose money and employees. I state again--Capitalism is not a government system or political system. Yet, some people try to say that capitalism is supposed to be involved in such things as stopping poverty and unemployment. Hey, let me go back in time. From Sunday, April 21, 1963, through Sunday, June 23, 1963, Channel 7, WXYZ-TV, aired a program called Challenge to Capitalism on a weekly basis. It was a "class" or "course" presented on television it seems (I have yet to make a final determination whether or not it was). I only know the program existed, and I know not if the program taugh nonsense. However, look at the theme of the first episode--Problems of unemployment. Capitalism is not the driving force behind unemployment; political systems with defective laws cause unemployment. For instance, if businesses are hindered from selling products and making products by government laws, then the businesses will not make as many products, and the businesses will put people out of work (on hiatus) or fire people or not hire people. If govenments tell certain businesses that they cannot exist, such as because they use carbon-based fuels, or that they must close down for a bit of time, such as because of some type of virus, there can be an increase in unemployment. And governments cannot will jobs to show up, such as through laws, such as a law that says--you must hire such-and-such person or persons (even if there is no work to be done, since there is no demand for more product or whatever could be made). The second program of Challenge to Capitalism was about the causes and cures of inflation. I state that "capitalism" is not the driving force of causing "inflation"; I state that government policies are instrumental in causing inflation, such as great inflation, which exists in the United States of America at this time, such as because of political rules and laws set down by the U.S. Congress and Joseph Biden as the U.S. president. For example, Joseph Biden killed the "Keystone" pipeline construction on the day that he bacame the U.S. president (on January 20, 2021), and that helped start a rise in inflation because people saw that the supplies of gas and oil in the future would be cut back and the prices of the products--it all related to supply and demand rules of mankind--would go up, and that is inflation. "Capitalism" does not cause inflation and cannot cure inflation. So it seems to me the first episode and second episode of the series called Challenge to Capitalism could have been at least a little bit defective, and that idea would not surprise me, given, in around 1973, I ended up in an economics class at Wayne State University, Detroit, that forced me into reading a big book, which I found to be convoluted, which I especially understood some years later when I became a much, much better as a writer and skilled at tearing down defective writing, which was after I had studied well a book called Modern American Usage: A Guide. And now Joseph Biden and his associates are screwing up the ways of business or capitalism--buying and selling--through defective laws. By the way, it is impossible to get rid of umemployment and even poverty since some people are born defectives, such as by being unwilling to work or being drug addicts and such.

On January 5, 2022, I happened to be tuned to Channel 2.1, WJBK-TV, at about 9:20 a.m.. An interview started with a guy called Dr. Matthew Sims (of Beaumont Health, a hospital system in the Detroit area). One point pushed out by Dr. Matthew Sims, who was vague in answering, was that the availability of therapeutics (it seems) is limited. I ask--What did he really refer to, and if the talk was about therapeutics, why are therapeutics limited? The damn pandemic mess has been going on for two years! Why has not the medical community all over the country yelled and screamed, such as at the Joseph Biden administration, to get more therapeutics made and get more therapeutics in the hands of the citizens, instead of pushing vaccine stuff, which seems to be a dead issue, based on all the "breakthroughs" taking place. To me, the medical community does not seem to be so great (made up of followers and not thinkers), but you can see my document (noted above) for more information about the COVID-19 thing!
Since January 6, 2021, when Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi did not have proper security set up on the grounds of the U.S. Capitol and when the Capitol-grounds breach event took place, which Nancy Pelosi probably expected would happen on the day (and maybe could have helped happen purposely), the Democrats have been pushing the lie that U.S. President Donald J. Trump tried to pull off a coup on January 6, 2021, and that there was an "arm insurrection" on that day, and I say that U.S. Donald J. Trump's working for a coup is bullshit. In essence, after the event took place January 6, 2021, the U.S. House of Representatives has been in investigating mode (and I use "investigating" loosely), and it has had an investigating committee (made up of Democrats mostly and some Republicans, one of whom is Liz Cheney, who calls herself a Republican but acts like a communist, not unlike the dead U.S. Senator John McCain), and the committee comes off as a kangaroo-court-type entity, issuing orders and subpoenas at will. The U.S. House of Representatives is not a criminal investigating entity, and yet, the committee exists, and it is pushing lies and even releasing private information (of citizens) to the press, which is illegal. For example, around January 4, 2022, people could see a video entitled "Jan. 6 Committee Releases 'Explosive' Texts From Sean Hannity" (from MSNBC on YouTube), featuring Chris Hayes, and the video, for one, pushed out the idea that Sean Hannity had been in contact with people in the Donald J. Trump administration on and in around January 6, 2021, and it was pushed that that was bad, showing some type of conspiracy (maybe). Yet, I report that it is commonplace for reporters to be in regular contact with politicians so that they can get stories, and, in the case of Democratic party related news people, to get propaganda to help push forth on the public. By the way, the video tried to make it seem that Sean Hannity was bad in that he was asking the Trump administration if Donald Trump was going to say something soon on January 6, 2021 (such as to the American people in a press event). Such bullshit that is. On January 5, 2020, U.S. Representative Jamie Raskin (a Democratic and a communism supporter) spoke on The Washington Post Live (and a portion appeared on, for example, a video called "Rep. Raskin on Jan. 6 select committee requesting Sean Hannity of FOX News to voluntarily appear"), and, for one, Jamie Raskin pushed out this idea---"...He [Sean Hannity] is a fact witness to an attempt to overthrow the presidential election and, ah, overthrow the constitutional processes of the United States so he's got as obligation to come and testify just like everyone else does....". That is bullshit from Jamie Raskin. How is Sean Hannity a witness to "an attempt to overthrow the presidential election...."? Jamie Raskin is trying to say that there was truly an attempt to overthrow the government, which has yet to be shown as true, given, for example, people at the breach event have not been convicted of anything more than, for instance, trespassing, and so Sean Hannity could not be a fact witness to something that did not happen, and, anyway, just because, for example, Sean Hannity was in contact with the Trump administration, it proves nothing and means nothing more than standard business for reporters and news entities, and Sean Hannity was not in touch with any breachers, and Sean Hannity was not as the Capitol. And there you have fake news once again from MSNBC and The Washington Post.
One of the Detroit-area well-known celebrities in the singing business is Karen Newman, who has been around for some decades doing work, such as as a singer of the Nathional Anthem at Detroit Red Wings hockey games in the past. On December 19, 2021, WXYZ-TV, Channel 7.1, aired a one-hour special that featured Karen Newman, and it was called Karen Newman's Home for the Holidays, and also on the program were members of the Detroit Youth Choir and the Macomb Ballet Company. The program was introduced by Karen Newman and Jayson Waller (who was the sponsor, being the CEO of Powerhome Solar). Basically, the special was a Christmas program that featured a number of songs in separate video clips. The program was worthwhile, especially since Karen Newman is a singer and not a "yeller." The program offered no credit information, so I know nothing more about the program. For example, I am not sure if it was the same program that had been aired on Channel 7 on December 20, 2020. I tried to contact Karen Newman so that I could learn more about the two showings, but the email address for Karen Newman that I found was a dead issue. On the program for December 19, 2021, Karen Newman and Jayson Waller hinted that they would be back next year.
The previous paragraph was about something good, and now this paragraph is about something good (in a way), and it is about Detroit-area television mostly. On August 13, 2021, Retro TV, which is offered to Detroit-area viewers on Channel 3.7 (broadcast), began to run kung-fu-type movies of the past on Friday evenings at 10:00 p.m. (Detroit time). For Dracula's Kung Fu Theatre, the host is Dracula, who is played by a man named Brad Cooper. The dirivng force behind this series with Drama is Matt Forgey, Brad Cotter, Matthew Livingston, and Joel Wertman. When Dracula's Kung Fu Theatre goes off the air on Friday (at 12:00 a.m. Saturday really), more kung-fu action in movie form shows up on Channel 3.6, which is a channel that I call "Television Drive-In", and the program is officially known as Friday Night Fu, which is an old series, unlike Dracula's Kung Fu Theatre. From September 2007 to January 2011, Friday Night Fu was a program made for WBQC-TV in Cincinnati, Ohio, and the show had such performers over the period as David Cornelius, Dave Davenport, Stuart Cook, Matt Laumann, Jonathan McEwan, Jack Burrows, and Jake Robinson. On February 25, 2011, WBQC-TV (informally known as WKPR-TV) aired a reunion show--a Friday Night Fu reunion show--for viewers, featuring the movie called For Y'ur Height Only. Friday Night Fu airs at 12:00 a.m. Sundays on a weekly basis on Television Drive-In. I do have to admit that I do not regularly watch kung-fu-type movies, but you may like them, so that is good news for some people like you at least.
Oh, some of my favorite channels in the Detroit area are Movies! (Channel 2.2), Buzzr (Channel 2.3), Television Drive-In (Channel 3.6), Retro TV (Channel 3.7), and MeTV (Channel 4.3.)
Remember: The Prisoner with Patrick McGoohan was a television show that was produced across the pond and shown on CBS-TV in the late 1960s, and I urge you to find The Prisoner on DVD, maybe from a library, and watch it, and you should show it--all the episodes--to teenagers, or buy it as a present for teenagers.

Anyone who supports the "mandate" is not a good enough person or a smart enough person to be the U.S. president--the mandate is "enslavism," and the "mandate" allows government people--who are often usually bad people, as history shows--decide what health care a person can get, and that is bad.
