It is easy to find bad television shows being broadcast today, and a person does not really have to try to find them--you can turn the channel, and there can be one. On Sunday, August 4, 2019, the Detroit Free Press published an article by Leanne Italie entitled "Bandwagon builds for LGBTQ diversity on children's TV" (Italie, Leanne. "Bandwagon builds for LGBTQ diversity on children's TV." Detroit Free Press, 4 August 2019, p. 2E.), and my take on the story is that is reports some shows that good people as parents should have their children avoid, such as The Braviest Knight, My Little Pony (the new version), Andi Mack, Steven Universe, Postcards from Buster, Doc McStuffins, Danger & Eggs, and Sesame Street. Hold it for an aside! The biggest reason that Sesame Street should be avoided is it teaches that learning has to be fun and easy and game-like, and that teaches children that it does not take work and struggle to learn, especially complex issues. In the article, a reader learns about about Kate Dillon, who is a "non-binary" person. What the hell is a "non-binary" person? I state--It is a person an ill mind. I report that a good reason that a good person has to be wary of anyone identified as a supporter of "LGBTQ" stuff is such a person is very likely to be a supporter of socialism and communism, which are evil political systems. Communism and socialism are not good political systems, and they involve bad people--enslavists, who have rotten ideas about what the lives for others should be. Consider--If communists and socialists are pushing the issues related to "LGBTQ", such as that in which you have to see people like "a non-binary" person as normal and well-adjusted, then something is not be right. And that covers the opening of this edition of Television Hiistory and Trivia, which reports on a lot of bad television.
Hey, I have to talk about women here, and a part of the talk may be off-putting, such as to feminists and piss-ass men, especially piss-ass young men. On Monday, July 15, 2019, CBS Evening News with Norah O'Donnell began to be shown regularly on the CBS-TV network, airing at 6:30 p.m. (Detroit time) on a Monday-through-Friday basis. On Monday, July 15, 2019, the newscast opened with crap and lies. Norah O'Donnell started out noting that U.S. President used racist tweets recently against four "women of color"--women who were members of the U.S. House of Representatives (U.S. Representative Ayanna Pressley, U.S. Representative Ilhan Omar, U.S. Representative Rashida Tlaib, and U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez), who as a group represent communism and socialism and Sharia (Islamic law) and who have shown themselves to be highly rotten people and enemies of the Unted States of America (as I show, for example, in my document informally entitled And the Stupid Women Shall Lead, which can be reached through this Stupid Women link). Generally speaking, the four women has put down the United States of America, have supported Islamic terrorists groups, have put down Israel, have shown themselves to be anti-Jewish, have supported getting rid of ICE (an immigration-related federal-government entity),.... It was on Monday July 15, 2019, that the four women held what I call an anti-United States of America press event, and after that, for example, U.S. President Donald Trump put down the four women, never making any comment that hinted as racist. Yet, Norah O'Donnell pushed out in a national newscast the crap that U.S. President Donald Trump was being a racist. Then, on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, I came into the house at about 6:45 p.m., and I decided to turn on CBS Evening News with Norah O'Donnell to see what was being pushed out. I happened to jump into the show when Norah O'Donnell was talking with Caroline Kennedy (a "Democrat") and Jeff Bezos (a "Democrat" and the founder of Amazon.com), and almost immediately, Jeff Bezos pushed out the crap that humans are "in the process of destroying this planet.". The segment was about, for example, going to the moon, and the segment pushed out the feminist idea that it was time for women to go to the moon. I have said--The more women have ended up in news, the worse the newscasts and news broadcasting has become. Norah O'Donnell is one proof of that statement, which should also note that more and more socialists and communists have come into the main news media since the 1960s, especially since the 1970s. And I report that U.S. Representative Ayanna Pressley, U.S. Representative Ilhan Omar, U.S. Representative Rashida Tlaib, and U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez) are ugly women with light brown skin, and they are ugly because of their minds--they almost always look mean and angry. On July 11, 2019, an entity called "Yesterday Today" put a video entitled "The Last Ziegfield Girl: 33 Rare Photographs of Doris Eaton Travis from the 1920s" on YouTube, and on that day, I saw the video. In the past, I have talked about Doris Easton Travis, who was, such as in the 1950s when she was hosting television shows on Detroit television, a handsome woman. Also on July 11, 2019, after seening the video about Doris Eaton Travis, I saw a video with very pretty and sexy women with light brown skin, and the video on YouTube was entitled "Rio de Janeiro Carnival 2019 Brazil -- day 3 of Samba Brasil Carnival (75)", which had been posted on May 4, 2019, by Dorin Ionescu. Oh, my gosh! Such gorgeous women I got to see, and they had wonderful bare breasts! Hey, real guys, take a look at the video. You will not know if the women have heads that are screwed up like those of U.S. Representative Ayanna Pressley, U.S. Representative Ilhan Omar, U.S. Representative Rashida Tlaib, and U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez), but you will enjoy see wonderfully exposed breasts on women with light-brown skin who are dressed in delightful sparkling outfits. And you do not have to wait long--they are right at the beginning of the video! And, by the way, Norah O'Donnell is another ugly woman--a socialist--and she happens to not have light-brown skin, and she is another "white" enslavist anchoring a main-media news show.
[Note: I would love to take one of the samba dancers out on a date while she is wearing the outfit she is wearing in the video, and I note that, on Tuesday, July 16, 2016, I saw the opening few minutes of Love Island on CBS-TV at 8:00 p.m. (Detroit time), and the gals as a rule came off a shallow and useless, especially the black-haired gal from San Francisco, the high-level communistic city of California).]Announcement for the novice again (reworked in May 2017): To get useful television-delivered news or Internet-delivered news, WorldNetDaily.com, "The Drudge Report," and CNS News (which is on the Internet and which was launched on June 16, 1998), since the entities do not blindly support Barack Obama-type people (communists and Shariaists), as do CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV (Note: To learn about bad journalism, you might tune in to CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV from time to time to see how they differ from the better places mentioned). I note that Fox News Channel is evolving into a rotten channel, becoming like those that I have put down in this paragraph. If you are unclear of my intentions, I say in different words that you should boycott CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV and even now much of what is on the Fox News Channel and hope they lose more ratings and advertising revenues, since they are expendable, and it is time for you to find the guts to be mean and heartless and cancel them--since they are hurting you. [Note: Everyone in the Democratic Party in the country is rotten, and the Republican Party establishment has shown itself to be socialistic and communistic within the last few years, and only a few of the rotten people are U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell, Jeb Bush, and Chris Christie.]
Here is a "for-the-record" paragraph. TV Guide has been slightly changed; that is, the format has been altered a bit. Starting with the issue for July 22-August 4, 2019, the magazine now offers a one-page television-listings grid for some cable channels or subchannels, giving a rough idea what a few cable channels or subchannels air from noon to 7:00 p.m. (Eastern time) on weekdays. The grid covers 21 channels, such as Antenna TV, Cozi TV, Decades, Get TV, Grit, Laff, and Retro, all of which I call broadcast subchannel networks, since, for example, television stations in the Detroit area air the networks on subchannels. Also, the prime-time grid for each day has additional networks represented, such as Antenna TV, Cozi TV, Decades, Get TV, Grit, Laff, and Retro.
[Note: I bet the management of TV Guide made the additions because people are watching the subchannels like Cozi TV and Retro and abandoning the regular local channels and broadcast-network stuff, as I have hinted at for months, because local channels and broadcast-network.stuff is pushing socialistic stuff and often has unlikeable stuff for viewers.]Recently, I watched something old on YouTube, and it led to my making this section of this edition of Television History and Trivia. On July 18, 2019, I watched a video entitled "Candid Camera TV Episode - Buster Keaton on Candid Camera". Here is an aside. On August 10, 1948, Candid Camera (the first of what would be several series or versions) showed up on ABC-TV; the show was a practical-joke show, which had been developed out of, for one, Candid Microphone, which had been a radio show. Bascially, in relation to television history, the guiding force for several versions of the Candid Camera concept was Allen Funt. On October 2, 1960, another version of the series showed up on network television--this time on CBS-TV--and the first hosts were Eddie Albert and Dorothy Collins. On December 18, 1960, the episode of the series featured a segment in which famous actor Buster Keaton played a man trying to eat soup in a Denver, Colorado, restaurant. The video that I saw on July 18, 1919, was the segment with Buster Keaton. For now, I do not have information about whether or not the Buster Keaton bit was aired before December 18, 1960, but I do know the segment was not from a time before October 2, 1960. Incidentally, Buster Keaton became famous in the 1920s as a silent-film star, appearing in comedies. Between August 1953 and October 1960, Candid Camera did not air on any broadcast television network. However, for one, a version of Candid Camera did air on Detroit television, as a locally produced series. In the 1955-1956 television season, a local version of Candid Camera was aired by WWJ-TV, Channel 4, and the first show appeared on Saturday, September 17, 1955, at 6:15 p.m., and the first episode ran for 15 minutes. Basically, Candid Camera showed filmed bits or segments in which people were shown doing something funny or people were shown caught in practical jokes. The Candid Camera that was aired by WWJ-TV had a man named Bob Maxwell as the host, and Bob Maxwell was a well-known radio disc jockey of the Detroit area of the time [Note: Bob Maxwell hosted other Detroit television series, some of which were Man About Town, The Bob Maxwell Show, and Teen Room.]. To see something funny, hunt down the video clip of Buster Keaton trying to eat soup.

Hey, has your favorite television newscast reported how the water levels of the Great Lakes are up over at least the last few years? I am well aware that they are, especially in the Hammond Bay area of Lake Huron, which I have seen clearly over the last twelve years or so, and water has gone up a bit and down a bit and up a bit, and it is now the highest that I have seen, but it is not up to the high-water area of the middle of the 1900s, as I have been shown by someone who has been in the area since the time. Yet, rotten people keep pushing the idea that man is killing the planet and we are seeing the results of what man has been doing. For example, on July 16, 2019, John Gallagher, who is a hard-line enslavist, supporting communism and socialism at least, had an article in the Detroit Free Press entitled "A preview of climate change?", and here is some of the material from the article--"Anyone who doubts that climate change could deliver a nasty shock to Michigan's economy need only take a stroll along the Detroit riverfront these days. Not that we can blame coastal flooding from spring rains and record high water levels in the Great Lakes on climate change. As the Free Press has reported, even the experts disagree on that question. And everyone would agree that the worst impacts of climate change remain well into the future. But the kind of problems we're seeing now because of high lake levels and abundant spring rainfall give a hint to what Michigan will endure from full-blown climate change one day. Along the Detroit River, high water and heavy spring rains have caused erosion and property damage. The City of Detoit has been sandbagging parts of Detroit's canal district in the Jefferson Chalmers neighborhood on the far lowest east side. Lake water has flooded parts of Belle Isle's shoreline road. In the marinas and harbors up and down the river and Lake St. Clair, docks and piers that for many years were comfortably above water are now often a few inches below, rendering them unusable. Even an east wind can make matters worse by pushing waves onto the docks and shoreline. And far from the Detroit River and Lake St. Clair, Michigan farmers have been dealing with soggy fields produced by the spring downpours.....". Stop! There have been no "record high water levels" in the Hammond Bay area of Lake Huron this year. I have proof! I see it and I can see it! And what proof does John Gallagher have that "the worst impacts of climate change remain well into the future."? His statement is a statement that is nonsense and a junk statement, in that it is probably possible the water will be up some time in a million years or more, such as 20 billions years from now. Maybe, the water levels will go down and never go up again. By the way, some people have built things near water over the last few decades, not keeping in mind that water levels could go up, and it shows their ignorance, and, incidentally, I have seen that in the Hammond Bay area of Lake Huron. And if I were going to have a dock or put in a dock, I would put in a floating dock always, well aware water levels can vary from year to year and decade to decade. If you see John Gallagher on television talking about climate change, you are seeing a rotten man--another socialist/communist liar and bullshitter.
If you see John Gallagher on television, you will be seeing rotten television, but you will not be seeing the worst television ever. On Tuesday, July 30, 2019, and Wednesday, July 31, 2019, viewers of CNN saw what will go down in history has some of the worst television shows ever broadcast since 1940, when commercial television began in the United States of America. The television shows of the two days were bascially anti-United States of Anmerica shows--they were debates involving 20 persons who are running to be the next U.S. president. The twenty persons were U.S. Senator Michael Bennet, Joe Biden, Steve Bullock, Pete Buttigieg, Julian Castro,U.S. Senator Cory Booker, Bill de Blasio, John Delaney, U.S. Representative Tulsi Gabbard, U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, U.S. Senator Kamala Harris, John Hickenlooper, Jsy Inslee, U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar, Beto O'Rourke, U.S. Representative Tim Ryan, U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders, U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren, Marianne Williamson, and Andrew Yang. The two nights of so-called debates were freak shows, in which the people pushed out the idea that the United States of America was a bad place, pushed out the idea that U.S. President Donald Trump is a racist, pushed out the idea that the country should begin the process of moving people out of low-lying areas because of climate change, pushed out.... I report that the shows showed off the nature of the twenty persons, showing them as evil, and that is not surprising since they represent the Democrat Party in the United States of America, which is a political party based on Sharia, communism, and socialism, which are hideous political systems--political systems of enslavism.
On August 6, 2019, Brian Williams showed that he is still involved with crap television [Note: Remember, Brian Williams had been fired by NBC-TV as host of NBC Nightly News a few years ago for lying so much on the air in newscasts that he hurt the managers of NBC-TV's ability to pass along crap in newscasts and have it believed.] On August 6, 2019, Brian Williams had a man named Frank Figliuzzi as a guest on Brian Williams's show for MSNBC called The Eleventh Hour; Frank Figliuzzi is a former assistant director at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (or the FBI). At one point, Frank Figliuzzi passed along some thoughts about recent shootings in the country--"...The president said that we will fly our flags at half-mast until August 8--that eight-eight. Now, I'm not going to imply that he did this deliberately, but I am using it as an example of the ignorancy of the adversary that's being demonstrated by the White House. The numbers eight-eight are very significant in the neo-Nazi and white supremacy movement. Why? Because the letter 'H' is the eight letter of the alphabet, and to them, the numbers eight-eight stand for 'Heil Hitler.' So we're going to be raising the flag back up on, at dusk on eight-eight. No one's thinking about this....". The whole idea from Frank Figliuzzi is shit! And Brian Williams supported it on his television program!
Here is a note about some bad television that I saw on Sunday, July 28, 2019, at around 9:06 a.m. (Detroit time). I was tuned to Channel 2.1, WJBK-HD, and Charlie Langton was interviewing U.S. Representative Paul Mitchell (who is related to Michigan). It was noted that Paul Mitchell (who calls himself a "Republican") is not going to run again to be a U.S. Representative. The main reason why Paul Mitchell is leaving the U.S. Congress shows off the idiocy of the man and the uselessness of the man--Paul Mitchell is tired of the partisian bickering in the U.S. Congress. I report--It is a job of a good man who is in the U.S. Congress--especially in this day and age of the rise of communism and socialism--to beat down the crap, such as people pushing along communistic laws and socialistic laws, and that involves bickering of sorts. But--I guess--Paul Mitchell wants days in the U.S. Congress to go along nicely and happily. Yes, on July 28, 2019, I saw crap on television--U.S. Representative Paul Mitchell (who is not the "Paul Mitchell" of hair-care products, some bottles for which I happen to still have), but Maybe U.S. Representative Paul Mitchell should have been a hair dresser.
If you made it to this point of this edition of Television History and Trivia, it is time for you to have something good or at least nice, and the something good is another presentation of Looking at the Movies. In the 1950s, Channel 7, WXYZ-TV, aired a lot of movies, such as in the daytime and in the evenings. In November 1953, for example, the station was airing movies on weekdays at 2:30 p.m., and the movies were shown under the umbrella title called Heart Throb Theater. On Friday, November 13, 1953, the featured movie was "Lady in the Death House". By the way, some rotten person of today might think the movie should be renamed to "Non-Binary Person in the Death House" or something else that comes from a screwy mind. One of the performers in the movie called "Lady in the Death House" was Lionel Atwill, who played a good guy. I can say that Lionel Atwill often played bad guys in movies, such as an adversary to Sherlock Holmes (as played by Basil Rathbone). Lionel Atwill's character tells the story of a woman, who is played by Jean Parker, who was sentenced to die for murder. This 1944 movie came from P.R.C. Pictiures, which almost no one probably knows about today. For fun with Lionel Atwill saving the day, go to YouTube and see "Lady in the Death House", the presentation of Looking at the Movies for this edition of Television History and Trivia. [Note: I wrote this section while the first episode of Bachelor in Paradise (series) was airing on ABC-TV, which was on Monday, August 5, 2019, and the show was another gay-focused show, and I say that, maybe, the show will soon be called Non-Binary Single in Paradise.]
Remember: The Prisoner with Patrick McGoohan was a television show that was produced across the pond and shown on CBS-TV in the late 1960s, and I urge you to find The Prisoner on DVD, maybe from a library, and watch it, and you should show it--all the episodes--to teenagers, or buy it as a present for teenagers.

Anyone who supports the "mandate" is not a good enough person or a smart enough person to be the U.S. president--the mandate is "enslavism," and the "mandate" allows government people--who are often and usually bad people, as history shows--decide what health care a person can get, and that is bad.
