In essence, television newscasters and commentary figures are useless people, since most of those of the main television media are communists or socialists--even many who call themselves "Republicans" in this day and age are at least socialists. Communists and socialists are rotten thinkers and rotten people. Today, more than two-thirds of the U.S. Congress is made up of socialists and communists, and at least two-thirds of the U.S. Supreme Court is made up of socialists and communists. Communists and socialists have been members of the U.S. Supreme Court for decades, and it has led to many rotten decisions and laws, such as carbon dioxide being defined as a pollutant. From December 17, 1975, to June 29, 2010, John Paul Stevens was a member of the U.S. Supreme Court. John Paul Stevens is about 97 years of age today, and he is a man whose nature is highly rotten--he has always been a rotten man, being what some people call a "liberal" (which is really a "progressive" or socialist or communist). On March 27, 2018, good people in the United States of America learned the real rottenness of the nature of John Paul Stevens through an editorial piece that John Paul Stevens wrote and got published for the world in The New York Times (Stevens, John Paul. "John Paul Stevens: Repeal the Second Amendment." The New York Times, 27 March 2018.). Here is side information from me. "Man"--or the "human being"--is an animal, and "human being" includes the woman and the man, and the human being can be a killer of other human beings because of brain defectives or brain damage, genetic damage, indoctrination with rotten ideas, et cetera, and that has been the way for centuries and centuries and centuries. By the way, communists and socialists are really prone to being killers, as history shows. Over the centuries, "leaders" of communities, tribes, and countries, such as kings and queens and monarchs and prime ministers and presidents, have used violence and coercion and murder or control their citizens, and that is still happening today in much of the world, and, today, and in many places of the world, the citizens are unable to protect themselves from their "leaders," who are often rotten people. Usually, "leaders" or "politicians" are rotten people, since rotten people work to become leaders and politicians so that, for instance, they can be seen as high in stature in society without having to do real work or be a worker or create things, such as businesses, can gain wealth, and even have the backing of government to hurt others (which they like to do). One reason the United States of America was founded was so that some good people could get away from the bad leaders of their countries and have a better country, and the Founders of the country created a document--The U.S. Constitution--and that document was created to be the main rules for the country, noting, for example, what "leaders" could not do to the citizens, and one provision that it would end up with was a provision--the "Second Amendment"--that allowed citizens to have guns. Since the "Second Amendment" was created, people have debated what the amendment fully means and what the creators really wanted it to entail, and I will not debate the issue here. I see that "Second Amendment" as something that allows citizens to have guns--period. The purpose of citizens having guns in a good country is to (1) allow the citizens to protect themselves from thieves and killers, (2) make it harder for enemies of other countries to invade their country and kill them and take the country over, and (3) make it harder for the military or a police entity of their country from taking over the country and installing an enslavism form of government in the country. Another reason that citizens in a good country have guns--which is the biggest reason to have guns--is to keep bad politicians in check or block bad politicians from doing bad things to the citizens--the existence guns in the hands of citizens show bad politicians that there are ways in which the citizens can kill the politicians if the citizens have to. Bad politicians must have the threat of death held over them at all times (given politicians always hold the threat of death over the citizens, such as by control military entities). Today, communists and socialists who are politicians in the United States of America are working to get guns away from the citizens so that the communists and socialists can feel more free to do what they want and to be bad--without opposition. Only bad countries have citizens without ways in which to fight back against bad politicians. There are people today who are pushing the idea that the "Second Amendment" should be removed from The U.S. Constitution, and one of those persons is John Paul Stevens. In the article of March 27, 2018, John Paul Stevens showed his support for removing the "Second Amendment" from The U.S. Constitution, and it showed off his rottenness and his support for bad politicians. In the article, John Paul Stevens took up the subject of recent demonstrations and rallies by students and other persons who were working to get guns removed from society, saying--"...That support is a clear sign to lawmakers to enact legislation prohibiting civilian ownership of semiautomatic weapons, increasing the minimum age to buy a gun from 18 to 21 years old, and establishing more comprehensive background checks on all purchases of firearms. But the demonstrators should seek more affective and more lasting reform. They should demand a repeal of the Second Amendment....". In the article, John Paul Stevens showed his support and proved his support for bad politicians through, and it showed he has probably been a rotten man for decades and decades really. When the leaders or politicians in a country takes away guns from the citizens, the citizens--good citizens--must quickly remove the leaders or politicians from their positions, even if it means killing the leaders or politicians, such as by knife, poison, electrocution, or gun. That is one of "The Rules of Man." When leaders and politicians take ways weapons that can equal what the politicians have, such as through the materials held by soldiers, the leaders and politicians get the power to kill the citizens at any time, and that means the citizens can now act in self defence first. Only a bad person--who is, in essence, an "enslavist" (a communist or a socialist or a Shariaist or the like)--wants no guns in the hands of the citizens. Yes, in a society in which the citizens have guns, a few people will use guns to kill others, such as children in schools, and it is very likely that a potential killer--who is a supporter of the socialistic or communistic way of life--will probably choose guns to kill, such as to rally the general population into supporting the idea of having the government get rid of guns from the hands of the citizens and set up communistic-government ways. There is no way in which to stop a potential killer from getting a gun or any weapon to kill others; for instance, no law can be made that will stop a person from making a gun for the self (such as by using a drill press and other machines to make a gun in a home machine shop or other place) or acquiring a gun from the "black market" (guns exist in the world). Today, television newscasters and commentary figures are very unlikely to pass along the idea that citizens must have guns so that they can protect themselves from bad politicians, who are numerous today in the American society, such as in the hierarchy of the Democratic Party (examples of whom are Hillary Clinton and Barack Hussein Obama, both of whom had ties to killings of Americans during the time that Barack Hussein Obama was the U.S. president). John Paul Stevens showed himself as a person who wants and wishes hard for politicians to be safe from citizens who are anti-communists and anti-socialists and to be able to have the ability to use the threat of death to control the citizens or to be able to kill to remove anti-socialists or anti-communists from society. I state that the world is not so civilized that enslavist politicians no longer exit, and I believe enslavist politicians will exist in the years and decades to come--they will, since the nature of "man" is not going to change soon or in recent upcoming centuries and bad people as politician will exist. Given that information of this paragraph, I now offer you more topics in another edition of Television History and Trivia in this day and age television.
For some time, I have had some things in mind that I felt I should pass along. It seems to be commonplace to me to see on subchannels (broadcast channels) a commercial for AARP (I have seen it from time to time for months). A person seeing the commercial for the first time might not realize the entity known as AARP is a rotten organization. For one, AARP supporter enacting of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (or "Obamacare"), a communistic piece of federal law that was put together by socialists and communists. When I see the commercial, I see that the magazine for AARP will be offered to anyone who joins the organization, which is supposed to be something working to help senior citizens. And every time that I see the commercial, I see the covers of past magazines, and all the main people--entertainers--pictured on the front of issues I well understand to be supporters of socialistic and communistic politicians ("Democrats"), and one of the performers is Bruce Springsteen. AARP (or American Association of Retired Persons) is a socialistic or communistic entity really! I jump to something else now. From time to time, I see promotion announcements on CBS-TV that are tied to health issues, and such commercials are often presented by stars of the network, such as Julie Chen. The television network, especially the news department, supports the "Democratic Party" of the United States of America and supported "Obamacare," and yet the network uses this line in the promotional announcements--"CBS Cares.". Such bullshit that is from CBS-TV.
And the bad shows keep on coming and coming. On Tuesday, March 13, 2018, I saw the first episode of For the People (a series being shown on ABC-TV) and Rise (a series being shown on NBC-TV). Both series were series that I would never look at again. The worst of the two was For the People. It was an ugly show--episode--having no likeable persons. The show is about lawyers, and at the opening of the show, the viewers sees a bunch of young people pledging to support and uphold The U.S. Constitution. Such crap that is and was. I have learned over the decades that many lawyers really are not concerned with The U.S. Constitution and following The U.S. Constitution. In fact, a number of times I have heard how lawyers are actually taught in universities to circumvent The U.S. Constitution. The title--For the People--came off as crap, pushing the themes socialism and communism in truth. Rise and For the People are yet two more series to avoid.
On Wednesday, March 14, 2018, I skimmed the edition of the Detroit Free Press for the day, and it surely was a useless collection so-called news (and I was doing that while I had the television set tuned into The Nine on WJBK-TV, Channel 2.1). Moments later, Deena Centofanti and Maurielle Liu had Amy Lange (a staffer of the news department at the station) as a guest. Amy Lange was on the show to promote the idea that she was going to be at Marygrove College (on March 15) to talk about "fake news." There was some useless banter among the three gals. One thing that Amy Lange promoted was that people should use such entities as "factcheck.com" and "snopes.com" to better detect "fake news." That was crap from Amy Lange. For one, factcheck.com is promoted as a non-partisan entity, but that is crap in truth. Factcheck is a socialistic/communistic-based entity, funded by, for one, the Annenberg Foundation, and that foundation, for instance, helps fund at least indirectly the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and PBS (a socialistic/communistic-based television network), and, for instance, the Annenberg Foundation is a supporter of the nonsense known as "social justice." Amy Lange also mentioned "snopes.com" as something to rely on. "Snopes.com" is yet another socialistic/commuistic-based entity, and big supporter of the entity, such as through advertising, is George Soros (the billionaire), a big supporter of communistic and socialistic entities. In essence, Amy Lange passed along crap in the segment about "fake news." Now, let me backup a few moments. In the edition of the Detroit Free Press for March 14, 2018, there was little useful news or facts. It had some crap stuff. For one, in the "Names + Faces" section (which, over the last few years, has devolved in to a fluff section) had a story about Arnold Schwarzenegger ["Schwarzenegger says he wants to sue global oil companies." Detroit Free Press, 14 March 2018, p. 3C.). In a recent podcast sponsored by Politico (a socialistic/communistic-based entity), which a so-called news entity, Arnold Schwarzenegger pushed out the idea that oil companies have been knowingly involved in "...killing people all over the world...." and "...The oil companies knew from 1959 on, they did their own study that there would be global warming happening because of fossil fuels, and on top of it that it would be risky for people's lives, that it would kill...." and "...If you walk into a room and you know you're going to kill someone, it's first degree murder; I think it's the same thing with the oil companies....". That is crap information from Arnold Schwarzenegger really!
[Note: Over the last few decades, the "Names + Faces" (or "Names and Faces") was of the Detroit Free Press was put together by a staffer or staffers of the newspaper who got credited, and, for instance, the section regularly had stuff about people in the local media, such as those changing jobs or getting a new air time on a radio station. Today, the "Names + Faces" section is put together by someone, and that someone is not credited, and the section basically looks like a filler section, putting out stuff that is put out all over the place, such as on the Internet--it is the same--usually national--fluff available everywhere. It is just there and can even be missed.]The best way for a person to be versed in detecting "fake news" or "crap news" is to get a lot of general information about life and the world and become a logical thinker over time, such as years over years; that is, for instance, the person must learn to understand the main news media is corrupt as a rule and avoids passing along fact and skilled at lying.
Hey, I have to continue on. For years, I have been gathering information about television history, and recently, I have been doing heavy research into Detroit television history, using, for instance, old editions of the Detroit Free Press. From 1946 to about the 1980s, the Detroit Free Press had a lot of stories about Detroit television, and since the 1980s, the amount of material has continually tapered off from year to year--even the "Names + Faces" section is there rarely information about Detroit television and even Detroit radio today. If a person of fifty years from now were to look back at the Detroit Free Press of the 1940s and 1950s, the person could learn a lot of Detroit television then, and if a person of fifty years from now were to look back at the Detroit Free Press of around now (2010 to 2018), the person would find little or almost nothing. For example, on March 17, 2018, the edition of "Names + Faces" had a lot of so-called news, which, in fifty years, would be considered crap. One article or piece was "CNN's Anderson Cooper splits with longtime boyfriend" ("CNN's Anderson Cooper splits with longtime boyfriend." Detroit Free Press, 17 March 2018, p. 3C.). What crap the story is! In fifty years, a person looking back at the article will see the nonsense about a gay man--some so-called news guy or celebrity--splitting from his boyfriend. That is shit news or crap news, and it is useless news! Who cares?
On Saturday, March 17, 2018, I happened to tune into Channel 33, WHPR-TV, and that was in the morning when Reverent Jim Holley Jr. was hosting a show (which may have been repeat material on the station), and on Sunday, March 18, 2018, I happened to tune into Channel 33, WHPR-TV, and that was in the morning when Billy Jones was hosting is Talk Beat Jones show. Reverend Jim Holley Jr. is a stupid man, and as I expected he attacked U.S. President Donald Trump, saying, for instance, Donald Trump is "messing with this country" and it will take a long time to "fix the mess.". Although Reverent Jim Holley Jr. said that Donald Trump was an "embarrassment" [to the country it seems], Reverent Jim Holley Jr. passed along no reasons--it was more flapping the gums with nothing useful from Reverent Jim Holley Jr., and it was teaching crap to viewers, especially Detroiters, who are about the majority of the people who are able to pickup up the low-power television station [Note: Outside of Detroit, the station means nothing to people]. On Sunday, Billy Jones had, for instance, a man running to be the next governor of Michigan as a guest--Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, a highly rotten man. Keep in mind--The Democratic Party is a communistic/socialistic/Sharia-based entity, which is only interested in advancing power for the people who are politicians who are tied to the values of the Democratic Party. I state--Communism and socialism and Sharia are shit, especially the idea of Allah (of Sharia), and communism and socialism and Sharia are based on violence and corruption and lies! If a person stands with the Democratic Party, the person is rotten, no matter how nice the persona of the person seems to be or how so-called sympathetic for causes, such as to help the poor, the person seems to be. Dr. Abdul El-Sayed stands with the Democratic Party, and on Channel 33, he worked hard to push the idea that he is compassionate and for the "people." On Sunday, March 18, 2018, I went to the website for Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, and I found, for one, this theme related to him--"...As a doctor, or educator, and public servant, my work and my life has always been about creating opportunities for real people.". A smart person should ask the self--How does a politician create "opportunities for real people" and what the hell are "real people"? It is crap and flap doodle. No politician cane create opportunity for any one. Anyway, what "opportunity" is talking about? Dr. Abdul El-Sayed is working for a single-payer healthcare system for the country, for a $15.00 an hour minimum wage, for free college for families with income below $150,000, and for ending legislative term limits. That is all rottenness, and he supports other rottenness, which I do not report here. In the case of single-payer health care, I report that Abdul El-Sayed is supporting having the government in complete control of when you get health care, how you get health care, if you get health care, which is what "single-payer health care" is all about really! That means Abdul El-Sayed wants politicians and their associates to determine when you die! Only a man or a woman with an ill mind wants that. Keep in mind--Politicians can have a different health-care system than citizens; for example, U.S. Senators and U.S. Representatives do not have to follow the rules of "Obamacare." Abdul El-Sayed is a hellish man for his stance on health care alone--any country where the government controls health-care is a rotten country, a country of enslavism. Notice he wants no limits on how long politicians can be in office. I state that there have to be limits on how long politicians can be in office, because it helps chop down the ability of rotten politicians from being in office for decades and pushing rottenness for decades on the citizens. Anyway, people who are politicians are usually ignorant people, having not really worked in the private sector to know what it is about, and, for instance, Abdul El-Sayed reported on the television show that he has never worked at a corporation. Exactly what general knowledge of the world does Abdul El-Sayed really have? I say that he has a limited mind and is a poor general-knowledge person, especially since he supports the Democratic Party. In essence, Abdul El-Sayed, probably a supporter of Sharia, being a Muslim who not make it clear his hate for Sharia in public, is a killer of minds, and Billy Jones helped promote that Abdul El-Sayed as good man, especially to "blacks" in Detroit.
On Sunday, March 25, 2018, I got exposed to Dr. Abdul El-Sayed on television--again. At about 6:45 p.m., I happened to tune in to WJBK-TV, Channel 2.1, and Dr. Abdul El-Sayed was sort of being interviewed by Huel Perkins (the main news anchor at the station) and Charlie Langton. Truly, Huel Perkins and Charlie Langton treated the segment--a "Let it Rip!" segment--as a happy-happy, nice-nice, fluffy-fluffy interview. The interview was no hard-hitting serious piece of interview. To me, the segment was made to make Dr. Abdul El-Sayed look like a nice guy and good guy, though he is a supporter of such political systems as communism and socialism. Dr. Abdul El-Sayed passed along bullshit and lies; for instance, he noted that "guns designed for the theater of war" should not be allowed in the hands of citizens. I note fact--Citizens are not allowed to get military guns, and military guns are not sold in the country to citizens. Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, who wants marijuana legalized, noted that the marijuana issue is a "civil rights issue." That is bullshit! It is not a civil-rights issues. At about the end of the segment, the station ran some tape (previously recorded material) in which Charlie Langton interviews people on the street, such as a woman who thought Dr. Abdul El-Sayed look cute, and one Muslim guy interviewed passed along the crap that Muslim stuff is the solution to everything, and that interviewed man came off to me as a pusher of Sharia (the rotten political system masquerading as a religion)--Sharia is Islamic law, and Islamic law-government is not compatible with The U.S. Constitution, and Sharia is "enslavism." So, I ended up exposed to crap from Huel Perkins and Charlie Langton and Dr. Abdul El-Sayed--three bad persons--as all the viewers tuned into the segment did.
By the way, the editor--Peter Bhatia--of the Detroit Free Press was on The Warren Pierce Show" of WJR-AM on the morning of Sunday, March 17, 2018, and one thing that Peter Bhatia worked to do was note that the press is under siege today and the siege is unfounded.. I state--Such crap that was. [I say for jest--Hey, Peter Bhatia, give us more stories about gay communistic news and talk-show people losing their lovers.]
Oh, JoAnne Purtan is gone from the WXYZ-HD news department, getting fired shortly after the communinstic/socialistic Stephen Clark had retired. Feel not sorry! And so it goes in the communistic/socialistic news business in the television industry in the United States of America. Anyway, the station has others who are clearly "liberal"--the younger socialists, for example. And, anyway, Stephen Clark's retirement did not last long, landing the job as the morning host for WOMC-FM in Detroit. Hold it! I am not done. JoAnne Purtan is helping to host that morning show on radio with Stephen Clark. [Note: Often, like people get together.]
Oh, Malcom Maddox is gone from the WXYZ-HD news department, getting fired for having done defective things behind the scenes in relation to sexual stuff it seems (so, for the moment, the station is short one black guy).
On Friday, March 23, 2018, some of the members of the news staff at WDIV-HD, Channel 4.1., were involved in making a television special called Generation Under Fire. The hosts were Devin Scillian (the main news anchor at the station and a lover of Cuba) and Kimberly Gill (another main news anchor at the station), and others involved on screen were Sandra Ali and Dr. Frank McGeorge. The special was a fluff piece filled with flap doodle, coming from, for instance, some teachers in the Detroit area and some students of the Detroit area, There was a round-table panel on the show, and the members of the panel were Lakia Wilson (a black woman and a Spain Elementary & Middle School counsellor), Mike Conrad (a white guy and a teacher from Royal Oak High School), Jenny Stanczyk (a white gal and a teacher from Cousino High School, whose persona came off as a lesbian), and Eman Ahmed (a Muslim-type gal and a teacher at Dearborn Public Schools). The makeup of the panel had fakeness, having that staged "diversity" feel. I ask--Where was the asian guy or gal? The special was all about gun violence and schools and children, and it was a political piece, offering feelings and emotions and no logical thinking.
Hey, did your favorite television newscast or newscaster passed along this information? Basically, on March 22, 2018, and March 23, 2018, the U.S. Congress passed a federal spending bill--a rotten piece of legislation, which was about 2,230-pages long and that almost no one who voted on it had read. On March 22, 2018, U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer (a Democrat related to New York) spoke about the making of the bill, and it was at about 7:50 a.m. on the day. One thing that Chuck Schumer, who was in the U.S. Senate chamber, said was that the bill was important to helping the "middle class" (which had been ignored for so long) and that the bill "brings that era of austerity to an unceremonious end." It was bullshit from U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer. Here is one big example why it was bullshit from U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer--a man who should be treated as a killer. During the run as U.S. president, Barack Obama and the U.S. Congress spent more money than all the previous times of U.S. presidents, and, in fact, the national operating debt was increased by double, a figure of trillions of dollars or thousands and thousands of billions of dollars. What era of "austerity" was U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer talking about? I bet such rotten people as Huel Perkins and JoAnne Purtan did not pass that along to you.
[By the way, On March 22, 2018, Frank Beckmann interviewed U.S. Representative Debbie Dingell (a Democrat related to Michigan) on The Frank Beckmann Show of WJR-AM, and Debbie Dingell--a piece of shit of a woman--passed along the crap that she almost voted against the bill. I say--And the lies just keep on coming from Democrats. Oh, I discovered some Democrats voted against the bill, but I have enough knowledge of persons in the U.S. Congress to know the persons are the hard-line communists, who probably wanted even more rottenness contained in the bill or who were able to vote "no" having been well aware the bill had already reached the "passed" stage when it came time for them to vote, giving them the ability to say that they voted "no."]Announcement: I have several new documents on the Internet--at the website for The Hologlobe Press. Let me put an oddity here. Since the late 1970s, Byron Allen (who was born in Detroit) has been involved with making television programs, and he has starred in some, but he is mostly known as a producer or "executive producer" of television programs. Byron Allen is one of the executive producers of the 2017 theatrical movie called Chappaquiddick, which is about former U.S. Senator Edward Kennedy and about a traffic accident event that led to the death of a woman he was with. The movie was released to the U.S. in April 2018, and it features such actors as Jason Clarke, Bruce Dern, Kate Mara, and Ed Helms. I have yet to see an advertisement for the movie on television (maybe advertisements are is running somewhere). I have heard radio advertisements for the movie. At the end of the advertisements that I have heard on radio, the announcer says the movie has--"...historical smoking....". Why the heck does an advertisment have to mention "historical smoking"?
Now it is time for a fun break, and that means, in this case, it is time for the Looking at the Movies segment. The segment is offered regularly in editions of T.H.A.T. to pass along facts--when movies were shown on television in Detroit between February 1948 (when the first full-length "feature" movie was shown, which was longer in length than usual B-movies were) and about 1954. On Sunday, December 18, 1949, Channel 4, WWJ-TV, aired a movie for Detroit-area television viewers at 2:30 p.m. The movie was called When Thief Meets Thief. It was a fairly new title for the 1937 movie. The original title for the movie was Jump for Glory, which was the name of the book that was the basis for the movie. The main performer in the film was Douglas Fairbanks Jr. (the son of the famous actor known as Douglas Fairbanks). Other performers were Alan Hale (whose son, Alan Hale Jr, would play the Skipper in the 1960s television series called Gilligan's Island) and Valerie Hobson. When you see the opening credits of the film, you will see "Ian Fleming" listed as a performer. Wow! It is "Ian Fleming." No, it is not the "Ian Fleming" who created the fictional spy character called "James Bond." In the movie, Ian Fleming played the coroner. The movie only runs about one hour. Go to YouTube--try that at 3:00 a.m. when it is dark outside and you can turn off all the lights in your place--and call up When Thief Meet Thief. Then again, start up the movie at 2:30 p.m. on some day to get the feel of what it was like to see the movie on December 18, 1949.
On Saturday, April 7, 2018, the Svengoolie series celebrated the seventh anniversary on MeTV, and on the same night, CBS-TV gave viewers--not one of whom was me--the first episode of the new season of Ransom, and you should understand I watched Svengoolie.
Announcement for the novice again (reworked in May 2017): To get useful television-delivered news or Internet-delivered news, WorldNetDaily.com, "The Drudge Report," and CNS News (which is on the Internet and which was launched on June 16, 1998), since the entities do not blindly support Barack Obama-type people (communists and Shariaists), as do CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV (Note: To learn about bad journalism, you might tune in to CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV from time to time to see how they differ from the better places mentioned). I note that Fox News Channel is evolving into a rotten channel, becoming like those that I have put down in this paragraph. If you are unclear of my intentions, I say in different words that you should boycott CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV and even now much of what is on the Fox News Channel and hope they lose more ratings and advertising revenues, since they are expendable, and it is time for you to find the guts to be mean and heartless and cancel them--since they are hurting you. [Note: Everyone in the Democratic Party in the country is rotten, and the Republican Party establishment has shown itself to be socialistic and communistic within the last few years, and only a few of the rotten people are U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell, U.S. Senator John McCain, Jeb Bush, and Chris Christie.]
On March 18, 2018, CBS-TV aired the first episode of a new series entitled Instinct, and while it was on, I wondered why it was made and why it was on. At the time, CBS-TV already had the series entitled Elementary, featuring such performers as Jonny Lee Miller as Sherlock Holmes and Lucy Liu as Joan Watson. With the Elementary series, which at the time that Instinct debuted was soon to show up on CBS-TV for another season, viewers have, in essence, a guy-and-gal team working to solve crimes--Sherlock and Joan. Jonny Lee Miller is a foreigner (coming from England). With Instinct, viewers have, in essence, a guy-and-gal team working to solve crimes, and the two main performers are Alan Cumming and Bojana Novakovic. Alan Cumming was born in Scotland and years later became a U.S. citizen, and Alan Cumming is another gay actor on prime time television in America. Oh, Bojana Novakovic was born in Belgrade, Serbia. By the way, have you noticed how commonplace it is for foreigners to be stars on American television. Where are the American actors? Basically, the tone of Instinct is like the tone of Elementary. So why was Instinct made? It is like a clone or a repackaging of Elementary.
On March 27, 2018, the new edition of the prime-time series entitled Roseanne appeared on ABC-TV (in fact, two episodes were presented). Roseanne is another socialistic series, promoting "liberal stuff." For example, there is a boy who paints his finger nails and weather female clothing. If I were the father of that boy, that crap would not happen (once the boy grew up and left the home, he could do whatever). Oh, at least two of the main performers in the show are lesbians--Laurie Metcalf and Sara Gilbert. Though the first episode hinted that Roseanne Barr's character sort of supports U.S. President Donald Trump, Roseanne Barr is a "liberal" (at least a socialist). HOld it! Let me go back to the first version of Roseanne, which debuted on ABC-TV on October 18, 1988, and one of the regular performers in the first season was George Clooney. Today, Actor George Clooney is one of the biggest supports of communism and socialism in the entertainment industry. Incidentally, for the first season of Roseanne, only three persons got "executive producer" credit, and they were Matt Williams, Marcy Carsey, and Tom Werner. The new version of Roseanne has these persons as "executive producer" (or "co-executive producer")--Roseanne Barr, Bruce Helford, Tom Werner, Tony Hernandez, Darlene Hunt, Bruce Rasmussen, Randall Keenan Winston, Whitney Cummings, Sara Gilbert, Dave Caplan, Betsy Borns, Sid Youngers, and John Pasquin. That is blot in the "above-the-line" costs (which is the way of many television series on prime time today [Note: Yet--even with all the blot--television producers work to get states to give them tax breaks. A lot of the new Roseanne was preachy, and there was more fighting (orally) and complaining. I believe more crap is going to show up on the episodes to come, since, for one, Wanda Sykes (a communistic black gal and well-known comedian) is one of the "consulting producers." The production values were adequate for the two episodes aired, and the pacing was good as a whole, and the series is made as a political piece and not an entertainment piece (such as to have fun for the sake of fun). By the way, the old Roseanne is still on the air, such as on the subchannel network known as Laff.
[Note: By the way, on Sunday, April 8, 2018, Julie Hinds--a writer covering entertainment for the Detroit Free Press--had an article published in the newspaper entitled "Three episodes of 'Roseanne' are enough" (Hinds, Julie. "Three episodes of 'Roseanne' are enough." Detroit Free Press, 8 April 2018, p. 2E.). Julie Hinds noted that she saw three episodes of the new series and will not watch any more episodes. I note that, after having read the article, I could deduce Julie Hinds was disappointed the series was not more communistic or socialistic in nature, such as by beating up on U.S. President Donald Trump more. For instance, one part of the article notes--"...Today's 'Roseanne' has introduced a gender-fluid grandson and a biracial granddaughter. But when will it ask the obvious questions. Like, how will those kids be treated by the Trump administration's policies? Is anyone in the Conner family benefiting from the 2018 economy....". Yes, Julie Hinds wants more communism and socialism and politics and fighting to arise in the series--not humor for the sake of humor. The article shows that Julie Hinds is just another rotten women on the staff of the Detroit Free Press--the communistic newspaper, often filled with crap. Oh, here is something else. A article entitled "Rochelle Riley honored for lifetime achievement" (Siacon, Aleanna. "Rochelle Riley honored for lifetime achievement." Detroit Free Press, 8 April 2018, p. 4A.] in the Detroit Free Press noted that Rochelle Riley--whom I have talked about in the past and shown to be highly rotten--is getting a lifetime achievement award from the Society of Professional Journalists, and that shows you how rotten the Society of Professional Journalists is. Rottenness has really set in deep in the writing profession! By the way, if I was raising children, no child would get to be "gender-fluid" while growing up--the person can be "gender-fluid" after the person is gone. Such bullshit it is, and it is the bullshit--which Julie Hinds likes--that helps make up rotten television.]
Also on March 27,. 2018, ABC-TV gave viewers another new series. The series is entitled Splitting Up Together, and the main actors are Jenna Fischer and Oliver Hudson (playing the main couple, a divorce gay and gal with three children). It is another crap series. One piece of crap in the first episode was a theme dealing with masturbating. A son of the main characters' was sort of in puberty now, and the mom took the boy to the doctor, and, in essence, the doctor said that the boy needs to masturbate and be given some encouragement by the mom to masturbate, so the mom sort of made a masturbate hook or area for the boy in the house. Such crap that is! [Note: It is not that masturbation has not been covered in sitcoms before, such as the old Roseanne series, but I say it is crappy to put it in sitcoms, especially when it comes off as political and not stuff for laughs.] Skip Splitting Up Together.On March 28, 2018, at 8:30 p.m., I was at a Big Boy restaurant in the Detroit area, and at that time, ABC-TV began to air a new series entitled Alec, Inc. I got to see the first episode, since the restaurant had a television set mounted at a place on the wall that I could see. However, I could hear no sound. I watched the episode (though not every moment). The main actor in the series was Zach Braff, who plays a husband to a wife and two children. The wife was played by Tiya Sircar. Based on what I could see of the show, I have these thoughts. The interaction between Zach Braff's character and Tiya Sircar's character came off as a brother (a big brother) and a sister (a little sister) and not as a husband and a wife. In fact, Tiya Sircar came off as a girl and a little sister to Zach Braff's character. To me, it looked as if Tiya Siccar was chosen by the producers to be in the show just so that the producers could touch on diversity, having an Indian-looking woman with a white guy. The two children just looked like prop children. It looked phony! That is all that I can say about the series for now (and I may never say anything more about the series).
On Thursdays, ABC-TV has another new series on the schedule for viewers, and it is Station 19, and I saw the series for the first time on April 5, 2018. Now, the entire prime-time schedule for ABC-TV on Thursdays is controlled by women and seems to be designed for "feminists" (socialistic and communistic females)--look at the credits of the three series (each a one-hour series) that air on this night (Grey's Anatomy, Station 19, and Scandal), and you will see what I mean. While I watched Station 19, I noticed how the series is filled with emotional thinking (not logical thinking) and outward female flap-doodle analyzing of the self and fake strong females and mush-head guys or feminized guys (who also get into self-analyzing emotional thinking periods and even act like scared boys, scared of the boss, a one point). Station 19 is another political piece, pushing feministic crap. There is good news--I can say that the three series on Thursday night for ABC-TV show off the thinking mind of females or how the female mind thinks--emotionally and not logically as a rule--or how the female mind thinks differently than the male mine does. The series show proof to keep in mind! Over the last several decades, I have heard people--basically, the socialistic-types--put down the television series of the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s, focusing on the family, saying the series were unreal and phony and the series did not really portray family life realistically. Those shows were not so far off, and, at least, they were pleasant or likeable, and they often taught good morals! Station 19 is highly phony and foolish, and it teaches crap about women (such as the abilities of women) and about the interactions between good men and women.
Oh, ABC-TV also has a new prime-time series on Mondays, which is called The Crossing, and I have nothing to say about it--I saw the first episode and found it nothing worth tuning into again.
I must add--I have seen David Hogg of Florida or Parkland (a face for the communistic movement about getting rid of guns in the United States of America) on television, and I am well aware he is a hard-line enslavist, though only 17 years of age, and he is another killer of minds in the making [Note: Remember--Hillary Clinton was in university at one time, and she was a hard-line enslavist, too, and so age means nothing in relation to communists, since communists can become what they are at a very young age.]. David Hogg's formative years of learning came in the years of Barack Hussein Obama as the U.S. President, and Barack Hussein Obama set a bad example about what a young man should be--Barack Hussein Obama was a perpetual liar and violated the main laws of the land. It is very likely David Hogg learned from Barack Hussein Obama's sickness, and every time I see David Hogg, I see that sick of this mind in the ways that he talks, such as the words and sentence patterns chosen. When you see David Hogg on television, you hare seeing a hard-line young enslavist. [Note: I will not and never apologize for my comments made about David Hogg. I well understand what David Hogg is. David Hogg is a likely killer of freedom for good people, and it looks as if the press is working to make him one of the media stars of the communists and socialists and make him one of the leaders of the young communistic movement for the next several years at least.]
Remember: The Prisoner with Patrick McGoohan was a television show that was produced across the pond and shown on CBS-TV in the late 1960s, and I urge you to find The Prisoner on DVD, maybe from a library, and watch it, and you should show it--all the episodes--to teenagers, or buy it as a present for teenagers.

Anyone who supports the "mandate" is not a good enough person or a smart enough person to be the U.S. president--the mandate is "enslavism," and the "mandate" allows government people--who are often and usually bad people, as history shows--decide what health care a person can get, and that is bad.
