Section 212(f) of the Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1952, which is a federal law created by a U.S. Congress and a U.S. president, states--"...Whenever the President finds that entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate....". On Friday, January 27, 2017, U.S. President Donald Trump, based on federal law, issued an order to temporarily--temporarily--blocked persons from seven countries of the world, one of which was Iran, a country the funds violent terrorism, from entering the the United States of America, and the period of time was set at four months. A good person understands that the order issued by U.S. President Donald Trump was legal and right. On Friday, February 3, 2017, U.S. District Judge James Robart (of a U.S. District Court) issued an order that U.S. President Donald Trump's order could not be followed, such as by immigration officers. What the judge did was making a ruling that he had no legal right to do, given the wording existing in the "Section 212(f) of the Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1952. Then, even though what the judge had done was wrong and has no basis in real law, the Donald Trump administration went to the 9th U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit (related to the U.S. District Court in which Judge James Robart exits) to get the judge's ruling shut down, and on Thursday, February 9, 2017, the U.S. Court of Appeals--particularly a three-judge panel for the court--ruled that it would not strike down or throw out U.S. District Judge James Robert's ruling, letting the ruling stand. In essence, the three-judge panel noted that, for instance, aliens or non-citizens have the same rights as real citizens of the United States of America. That is nonsense and idiocy. By the way, the U.S. Court of Appeals also noted that the Executive Order made by U.S. President Donald Trump was racist (in a way) against Muslims, even though the Executive Order made no mention of "Muslims" and did not block Muslims from dozens of countries from all over the world from coming to the United States of America. The entire event shows off only a little of the rottenness of the court system in the United States of America and people tied to the Democratic Party in the United States of America (a communistic-type political party), and it shows that the country is ending up with a precedence in which the courts will be able to make law about immigration (and other matters) and not a U.S. Congress and a U.S. president, and that is bad--very bad for good people in the United States of America. Do you see how--now--a U.S. president, especially U.S. President Donald Trump, has been stopped from taking action to block bad people--non-citizens of the United States of America--from entering the United States of America? Only a shit country has such idiocy, in which anyone can enter the country freely! Then, on March 6, 2017, Donald Trump issued another legal Executive Order (having the legal right to do so) related in travel into the United States of America--it was another temporary ban on allowing people from only a few countries of the world in to the United States of America. On March 15, 2017, a U.S. District Court Judge named Derek Watson issued an order designed to block the recent "Executive Order" from going into effect, and a big reason for blocking the Executive Order was that Derek Watson felt the Executive Order was a discriminatory based on what Donald Trump had supposedly meant in words spoken during the election campaign of 2016 and not on what the Executive Order said in words, and I report that Derek Watson showed off his rottenness as a person through the order given, and a few hours later, yet another judge U.S. District Judge Theodore Chuang) showed off his rottenness by issuing another order designed to help block the "Executive Order" from taking place. The two judges are shit-head people and are enemies of good people--non-communists and non-socialists and non-Shariaists. More idiocy related to the court system of the country showed up on May 25, 2017. On that day, Americans learned of a ruling related to the so-called "ban" by the Fourth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, and the ruling upheld two lower court rulings--it was ten judges (all of whom had been appointed by Democratic Party related presidential administrations) against three (all of whom had been appointed by Republican Party related presidential administrations). Here is only a bit on the nonsense from the court--especially the group of ten judges--"...The evidence in the record, viewed from the standpoint of a reasonable observer, creates a compelling case that (the executive order's) primary purpose is religious...." and "...Then-candidate Trump's campaign statements reveal that on numerous occasions, he expressed anti-muslim sentiment, as well as his intent, if elected, to ban muslims from the United States....". The rottenness of the ten persons is out of this world. The court is made up events and is made up of liars--Donald Trump never said he was banning all Muslims, and that is public knowledge, and Donald Trump did not show "anti-muslim sentiment". The court made its decision based statements not related to the "Executive Order"; the court made a decision based on its feelings. There is nothing good about the ten judges! Each of the ten is hardly a person who could be defined as a "reasonable observer"--there was no "reasoning" based on fact in any mind of the ten. On June 1, 2017, the Donald Trump administration asked the U.S. Supreme Court to issue a stay (as soon as possible) on the recent lower-court action related to his travel-restriction Executive Order, and the administration asked for a full hearing on the matter.
Hate the courts and teach hate of the courts to children--the courts are the enemy of good people!

Since I published the previous edition of T.H.A.T., I have seen more rotten stuff on television and video, and one event involved Mark Zuckerberg, who was instrumental in setting up "facebook.com". You are urged to see the section on "Mark Zuckerberg" in my document informally entitled Idiot Thought, which can be reached through this Idiot link. I could have put the story about Mark Zuckerberg in this edition of T.H.A.T., but the story fits the Idiot Thought well, and I have other stuff to fill this edition. [By the way, there is a bit about the idiocy of Emma Samms in the Idiot Thought document now.]
I start with a tiny story. On May 21, 2017, in the seven o'clock hour in the evening, I tuned into Coleman Young Jr.'s weekly show on Channel 33.1 (broadcast) in Detroit. By the way, the show is called The Young Effect. In a way, it is a good title since what Coleman Young Jr. says as a rule fits a youngster and not an adult. For example, one thing Coleman Young Jr. said was--What we need are people who do not get "in the fetal position when talking about race....". Coleman Young Jr. also talked a bit about his father (the black communist called Coleman Young Sr. today), and "Jr." noted that his father "eliminated segregation and oppression in Detroit..." and set up "diversity in jobs....". [Note: Nothing was said about the rise of corruption in the city and the things that led to the downfall of the city economically and the loss of population.] Such bullshit Coleman Young Jr. pushes out on television on May 21, 2017, and he is using his television show to promote his running to be the next Mayor of Detroit.
I went to Wikipedia recently to see how Wikipedia provides information about the news operations over the years for WKBD-TV, Channel 50, in Detroit; I wanted to see how off Wikipedia was in relation to what I knew. I ended up with the document called "WKBD-TV" (last updated on April 2, 2017), and I looked at the section called "News Operations". Some of the information provided was--Channel 50 started a news block at 10:00 p.m. in 1968, and the operation started out as a half-hour show, and then the station began a one-hour show in 1989, and in 2002, the news operation was shut down. The information misinformation or misleading information.
Let me give you a better feeling for what WKBD-TV had for news operations over the years. The main focus is what was called such names as Ten O'Clock News and The Ten O'Clock News and UPN 50 Ten O'Clock News. On Monday, September 9, 1968, Channel 50 began to provide viewers with a half-hour news shows on weekdays at 10:00 p.m., and the anchor was Tim O'Brien, and on Saturday, September 14, 1968, the station started up a Saturday newscast, and on Sunday, September 15, 1968, the weekend product was started up, and the weekend news anchor was Greg Oliver. The Saturday/Sunday product was usually 20-minutes long, and the Saturday/Sunday product was discontinued in April 1969. The weekday product ended in September 1970, and it was replaced with repeats of the 1950s/1960s television series called Perry Mason, which I now see regularly on MeTV (when I am in the Detroit area), airing on broadcast channel 4.3. On Monday, April 10, 1978, the station fired up two mini newscasts on weekdays--at 2:55 p.m. (for five minutes each time) and 9:55 p.m. (for five minutes each time). The afternoon anchor was Amyre Makupson, and the evening anchor was Byron MacGregor. On Monday, September 8, 1980, a full half-hour news block showed up on Channel 50--it was a production called Independent Network News (which was made by WPIX-TV and which was a syndicated show), and the show aired at 10:00 p.m.. In the half-hours, there was time for a local news segment, which was anchored by Byron MacGregor. On Monday, October 4, 1982, the station began to carry CNN Headline News material in three blocks each day, and the evening block was on the air at 10:00 p.m. (the station dropped the product from Independent Network News), and the CNN show ran for 60 minutes in the evening, and there was time for local inserts, and Byron MacGregor was still the anchor for the local stuff (around this time, Margo Williams was a local reporter). In October 1983, Byron MacGregor was replaced by Joe Glover (who had been a big-deal news anchor at WJBK-TV) [Note: Around this time, Joe Glover also got a job on Video Detroit, a television program aired by WTVS-TV, Channel 56, which was affiliated with the PBS network]. In 1984, a few things happened. A local half-hour local show was started up in May 1984, and Joe Glover was the anchor, and in August 1984, Joe Glover left the station, and Glenn Ray was on the air in September 1984, and, by the way, the CNN product disappeared from Detroit. Oh, there were only newscasts on the weekdays, and the newscasts ran 30 minutes. On Monday, April 10, 1989, a one-hour format showed up for weekdays, starting at 10:00 p.m. (each weekday). In January 1991, a news show starting at 10:00 p.m. began to run on weekends. Generally speaking, Channel 50 had a news team making the news show for ten in the evening from 1984 to 2002. I leave the discussion incomplete, stopping at 2002, though there is more to tell about news shows related to WKBD-TV (and even WWJ-TV and WXYZ-TV). Between 1984 and 2001, some of the news anchors were Amyre Makupson, Glenn Ray, Roger McCoy, David Scott, and Rich Fisher, and some of the others on the news staff (some of whom did anchoring on weekends) were Shelley Czeizler, Raphael Betanos, Kristin Smith, Harry Hairston, Cynthia Canty, Woody Willis, Teresa Tomeo, Mike O'Neill, Julia Jackson, Mike Bowersock, Sherry Jones, and Meg Oliver. Some of the weathercasters were Randy Bhirdo, Scott Grigg, Jim Madaus, Gary Bazner, Leslie LoBue, and Andrew Amador. By the way, one of the sports guys was Ray Lane, who had spent a lot of years at WJBK-TV. And that is that for now.
[Note: On Wednesday, May 7, 2017, MeTV aired the only color episode of Perry Mason that exists, and the episode was called "The Case of the Twice-Told Twist" (which originally was shown to the American public on February 27, 1966).Today, WJBK-HD, Channel 2.1, has a segment in some newscasts called "Let it Rip!", in which people discuss as a panel group various topics, and WDIV-HD, Channel 4.1, which is affiliated with the NBC-TV network, has a political panel show called Flashpoint, which is aired regularly on Sunday mornings, and the host is Devin Scillian, a person whom I have talked about in previous editions of Television History and Trivia [Note: He is an idiot man, who seems to love Cuba, as I have shown). On Sunday, May 14, 2017, I tuned into Flashpoint to see what idiotic thoughts and rotten thoughts were going to be passed on to viewers (and I knew there would be idiotic thoughts and rotten thoughts, given every time I tune into the show, I hear idiotic thoughts and rotten thoughts). On the show, the panel had Paul W. Smith (who is the morning-show host on WJR-AM on weekdays), Lena Epstein (who was a co-chairman from the Donald Trump for president campaign in Michigan), Portia Roberson (who is tied to the Detroit Division of Ethics and Civil Rights), and Brian Dickerson (who is a writer for the communistic newspaper called Detroit Free Press). Most of the program dealt with Donald Trump and the idea that the Russians affected the election of November 2016 and were working in conjunction with Donald Trump to steal the election for Donald Trump and also the idea that Donald Trump had recently fired the head of the FBI because the head was investigating the alleged tie in between Donald Trump and the Russians. There was a lot of bullshit said on the program.
I have to make an aside here for idiots and rotten people. In the United States of America, here is the general way elections are held in relation to the U.S. president. Each state is divided in to precincts, and voters of a precinct vote in the precinct-voting place or places, and each precinct compiles the votes to get results, and the voting results are set to to the state government, and later, each state presents the results to the national government [Note: The national government is not in charge of the election and how it is conducted in each state or precinct, and if the national government were in charge in such a way, you would have very likely a corrupt election system because crooked national people could more easily corrupt election results]. There was no way the Russians could have affected the results of voting. That is, the Russians could not have manipulated the results of elections, which was watched over, in each precinct in the country, by teams of Republicans and Democrats (who had been chosen for their work). Oh, on Sunday, May 14, 2017, I watched the weekly show called Meet the Press (which is a NBC-TV program), and at one point, the guest being interviewed by the host (Chuck Todd) was U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (a Republican related to South Carolina) [Note: Based on studying Lindsey Graham over the years, I can say that he may call himself a "Republican" but he is really at least a socialist]. In the interview, Lindsey Graham pushed out such nonsense as the Russian did "undermine our democracy" and the Russians "meddled in our election." What the hell was he talking about? Where are the facts that allow him to make such statements? Lindsey Graham seemed to be happy that an investigation of the Russians related to the election was still going on. Of course, a smart person knows the investigation has been ongoing since the middle of 2016, started during the Barack Obama administration, and a smart person knows it is not possible that the Russians changed any voting results, and a smart persons knows no criminal actions related to the election results could be possible.
Like Lindsey Graham, Portia Roberson and Brian Dickerson are at least socialists (based on what they do and say), and they regularly pass along crap to people (Brian Dickerson's past columns in the Detroit Free Press certainly prove that, such as one in the Detroit Free Press for May 14, 2017). During the edition of Flashpoint for May 14, 2017, Brian Dickerson said in relation to how the FBI director was fired--"...Donald Trump has never been very good at firing people. He doesn't like to do it. He rarely does it himself. It's expensive for him to do it because he usually purchases the silence of the people he's firing at exorbitant price. He's, he's made a hash of this throughout his commercial life....". What does that all have to do with the firing of the FBI director? It has nothing to do with it! Whether or not Donald Trump likes or dislikes to fire people is useless information. [Note: A smart person knows the FBI director's investigation of Hillary Clinton and his public talks about the Hillary Clinton scandal, an event that a smart person knows shows Hillary Clinton violated the "Espionage Act" by, for one, having her email servers), were designed to protect Hillary Clinton and help her win the presidential election.] Brian Dickerson slightly later said--"...The Commander-in-Chief of the United States has a cognitive problem. He has a personality disorder that would not be tolerated in leadership in any other institution....". That set of words from Brian Dickerson is high-level bullshit! People get fired all the time and sometimes in shit-ass ways. Have you not heard how some good people are fired unexpectedly, having been given no warning, and ushered out of the business by security people in a matter of minutes (the fired are forced to quickly gather up what they can and leave the premises)? In addition, how Donald Trump fired the FBI director and how the FBI director learned of the firing does not show that Donald Trump has "a cognitive problem" or that Donald Trump has a "personality disorder" of some type. All Brian Dickerson was doing--without good fact and logic--was trying to smear Donald Trump's persona and give a false impression of Donald Trump's action. And Brian Dickerson said--"If, if you went on the air...if you told as many whoppers in a month...president has told in the last week, they'd put you on medical care....". And so I come to the topic of Barack Hussein Obama. I spent eight years writing up very, very long documents that showed up the countless lies of Barack Hussein Obama, and the documents are available for free on the Internet. Barack Hussein Obama showed off to the world that he is a perpetual liar and a rotten man, and Brian Dickerson presented readers or listeners with no information that showed up Barack Hussein Obama's rotten nature over eight years or so--his lying. Portia Roberson also got into the act of smearing Donald Trump with unfounded ideas, and she said in relation to the firing of the FBI director--"...So, he [Donald Trump] could have used any of those things. He seems to know how to use Twitter. He could've probably used that to let, let it be known. Um, and, certainly, the fact that they are investigating him [Donald Trump], and there's no question that this was done because they are investigating him. Ah, you know, this week, he released saying that he has certified letters that he has no ties to Russia. He is probably the most ridiculous man we've ever seen in the White House, and so his allegations that this had nothing to do with that are just unfounded and, and scream a lot....". I ask--If Donald Trump were the 'most ridiculous man we've ever seen in the White House', then what was Barack Hussein Obama? I also ask--What information does Portia Roberson have that notes that Donald Trump is under investigation and that shows what Donald Trump is under investigation for? [Note: By the way, Portia Roberson was in the U.S. Justice Department during at least part of the Barack Hussein Obama years, a period of time when--a good person knows--the corrupt entity let "Black Panther"-types get away with voter intimidation]. What is the so called "collusion" (a possible tie between Donald Trump and the Russians) being implied by people like Portia Roberson? What "collusion"--do to what?--was done? What possible election laws were violated? What violation is being investigated? Where were votes changed? None were changed through election fraud or the throwing away of ballots. The edition of Flashpoint showed off more of the rotten people who are tied to the Democratic Party in the United States of America and can be seen on television, and in this case, the rotten people were Brian Dickerson and Portia Roberson. When a television show is a really bad show, television critics might call the show a "dog." I try to avoid clichés, and the "dog" idea would be a cliché term in relation to reviewing television shows. However, this time, I have to report that I saw a "dog" on ABC-TV on Wednesday, May 17, 2017. It was the first episode of a new sitcom. The program opened with, in essence, a dog talking--talking as if it was talking to a therapist. It was unfunny. The dog belonged to a women played by Allison Tolman, who came off as unpleasant and unfunny, and the character came off as someone whom I would not want to show up at my home on a weekly basis, and, in fact, I would not want to have to talk with her across from me at a table, such as the breakfast table. The remainder of the cast members were people to forget. Here is a cliché--the show came off as a collection of idiotic and freaky "liberals." Officially, the program was called Downward Dog. (and the period is part of the title), and Downward Dog. was a dog!
On May 28, 2017, PBS, the network that pushes for socialism and communism for the country and help lie about the true nature of Barack Obama, aired another National Memorial Day Concert. It had a number of rotten people taking part as "talent." There was the usually loathsome U.S. General Colin Powell (retired), a big supporter of Barack Obama and a man--I say--who should be banned from such a broadcast. This year, there was even more "diversity" on the broadcast. One of the hosts was "black." I say that there is nothing from with that. However, I note that the black man was a rotten man--Laurence Fishburne (nothing more than an actor) who did campaign work to get Barack Obama elected. Yes, once again, shitty people were on display on the National Memorial Day Concert, and two were big-time shitty blacks.
[Author special note: I never forget the enemy, especially the stealth enemy.]Did you catch the first episode of The F Word, a new series on Fox TV, featuring Gordon Ramsay? The first show had such rotten people as Jamie Foxx and Snoop Dog as guests (it was mostly a live presentation). When you hang out with rotten people, you should off your true nature. Of course, Gordon Ramsay comes from that socialistic country called England.
And did you see that truly rotten woman called Kathy Griffin on video when she did what she called comedy, showing a representation of Donald Trump's cut-off head all bloodied. I say in jest--Was that not great comedy and something that Gracie Allen would have done? I state--It was not comedy. It showed off the rotten nature of Kathy Griffin. Did you hear Kathy Griffin got fired from CNN because of the incident? She did. I say that it had nothing to do with free speech--She can says all she wants and be crappy, but I do not have to buy her product or respect her, and I even get to put the down for her rottenness. She apologized for the incident. Sorry, you piece of crap of a woman. I say that the apology is useless. And then on the day after she had apologized, she show off even more of her rottenness by saying crap at a press event, and she acted like a rotten feminist (female communist), and, for instance, she put down men for her trouble. One thing that showed off her rottenness was--"...I've dealt with older white guys trying to keep me down my whole career....". Yes, she pushed out the idea that the whole thing about her being fired was about men--men did it, men are to blame. And she even pushed out the crap that Donald Trump was getting back her in some way--he had been instrumental in getting her fire?--so that the press would be talking about her and not the FBI-investigation story tied to the Russians and the last election. It was all shit out of the mind of Kathy Griffin. [Yet, Americans will probably still buy her products, and that shows the rottenness of many Americans.]
Announcement for the novice again (reworked in May 2017): To get useful television-delivered news or Internet-delivered news, WorldNetDaily.com, "The Drudge Report," and CNS News (which is on the Internet and which was launched on June 16, 1998), since the entities do not blindly support Barack Obama-type people (communists and Shariaists), as do CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV (Note: To learn about bad journalism, you might tune in to CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV from time to time to see how they differ from the better places mentioned). I note that Fox News Channel is evolving into a rotten channel, becoming like those that I have put down in this paragraph. If you are unclear of my intentions, I say in different words that you should boycott CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV and even now much of what is on the Fox News Channel and hope they lose more ratings and advertising revenues, since they are expendable, and it is time for you to find the guts to be mean and heartless and cancel them--since they are hurting you. [Note: Everyone in the Democratic Party in the country is rotten, and the Republican Party establishment has shown itself to be socialistic and communistic within the last few years, and only a few of the rotten people are U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell, U.S. Senator John McCain, Jeb Bush, and Chris Christie.]
While hunting down television history related to Detroit--Detroit television history--I run across shows in television listings that have been long forgotten and that I do not know what they were. I recently ran across The Joyful Hour. When I see a show title that is unfamiliar to me, I have to wonder it the show was a local show, a network show, or a syndicated show of some type, and in relation to the first few years of television in Detroit (the 1940s and very early 1950s), I have to wonder if the show was simply something that was, for example, sent to Detroit from Chicago or another station in the Midwest (and that is something to do with the Midwest network, which tied a few cities together). The Joyful Hour was aired on Tuesday, December 25, 1951, and it was aired on all the television stations that existed in Detroit on that date--WJBK-TV (Channel 2), WWJ-TV (Channel 4), and WXYZ-TV (Channel 7). Channel 2 aired the program at 10:00 a.m., and Channel 7 aired the program at 11:00 a.m., and Channel 4 aired the program at 2:00 p.m. It was a Christmas-themed program. After having done a bit of "tracking" (research), I discovered the program was aired under the umbrella title known as Family Theater. Family Theater was a packaged of every-so-often syndicated shows for stations around the country, and instrumental is putting the programs together--all of which had a religion theme--was Father Patrick Payton. One of the performers in The Joyful Hour was Ruth Hussey, and she played the mother of Jesus Christ (a.k.a. The Virgin Mary) My "tracking" led me to information that Ruth Hussey played the mother of Jesus Christ four times in programs related to Family Theater. On March 25, 1951, she was seen in Hill Number One, in the Detroit area, and on November 22, 1951, she was seen in That I May See, and on May 11, 1952, she was seen in The World's Greatest Mother (which was a program designed for Mother's Day). I looked up "Ruth Hussey" on the Internet, such as Wikipedia and IMDb, to see what I could find. I found the entity known as IMDb did not list The Joyful Hour as a program in which that Ruth Hussey appeared. Generally speaking, Ruth Hussey worked in movies and television from the 1930s to the early 1970s. I discovered Ruth Hussey, when she was young, did study at the University of Michigan School of Drama (Ann Arbor, Michigan). By the way, Father Patrick Payton was instrumental in getting the programs for Famly Theater produced, but he did not actually make the shows. For example, in the 1940s and 1950s, a man named Jerry Fairbanks was known for making, for one, film product for television, and it was Jerry Fairbanks and his associates who actually filmed The Joyful Hour. Father Patrick Payton is sort of like a forerunner to a Catholic priest named Ellwood E. Kieser. Father Kieser was instrumental in getting a television series called Insight produced and distributed in syndication from 1960 to 1983. Insight was a religious-based program, and it had big-name actors performing in episodes, and for at least a little while, Channel 7 aired the program weekly, such as in the 1970s.
In this issue of Television History and Trivia, I have another change in the "subchannel" universe for broadcast television in the Detroit area. On May 19, 2016, Channel 38.7 showed up. The program only puts out audio, and the audio is the broadcast signal of a radio station of the Detroit area called "910AM Radio Superstation." The station is made up of mostly blacks as hosts of programs, and at least some of whom area rotten people. One of the persons is Bankole Thompson, whom I have talked about in past editions of T.H.A.T. (such as T.H.A.T. #92 and T.H.A.T. #117). Bankole Thompson comes off as a black communist, and it is no surprise to me that his radio show would be called Redline with Bankole Thompson. [Note: "Communists" are often referred to as "Reds."]
Hey, have you seen over the last several years television programs related to Alaska? Some of the programs that you might have seen are The Last Alaskans, Yukon Men, Alaska: The Last Frontier, Alaskan Bush People, Where the Wild Men Are, Edge of Alaska, and Wild West Alaska. Because of those programs and other, do not get the idea that all the people of Alaska are great. I can report many people in Alaska support communism and socialism and idiocy and rottenness, and examples are some of the recent members of Congress related to the state. On Thursday, May 11, 2017, some of the people of Alaska showed off their rottenness. The Arctic Council passed a resolution-type thing called the "Fairbanks Declaration." Did your favorite television newscast report that? It probably did not, so busy focusing on a car crash or some other piece of useless news to you. The U.S. Secretary of State--Rex Tillerson--was involved in the signing nonsense, which is supposed to support the Paris Agreement on climate change, which--I state--is all nonsense. The document of May 11, 2017, noted, for one--"...the need for global action to reduce both long-lived greenhouse gases and short-lived climate pollutants....". That may not show off the idiocy of the people involved in the agreement. I do have a piece that shows the convoluted thought involved, and the piece is--"...the pressing and increasing need for mitigation and adaptation actions and to strengthen resilience....". That is flap-doodle thought. If you are impressed with the line of quoted material, it shows that your mind is cluttered with idiotic thoughts, as are the makers and supporters of the line. I state that the Arctic Council is made up of a lot of defective people. [Koran, Laura. "Tillerson signs declaration stressing climate change threat." CNN.com, 12 May 2017, 4:38 p.m. ET.]
"The most modern topical family sitcom since Roseanne doesn't lose any of its edge in Season 3, with episodes addressing gay marriage, gun violence, sexual assault, supporting the troops...and oversharing on social media.--This text appears on page 35 of TV Guide for May 29-June 11, 2017, and the text is promoting the return of a television series entitled The Carmichael Show. Basically, it is an all-black-cast series. On June 7, 2017, I caught a new episode of the series. The main feature of the story about about "grandma" wanting to kill herself, because she has Alzheimer's disease. The "grandma" was played by Marla Gibbs, by the way. The episode was crap, starting out with "black crap" about how grandma had wanted such-and-such to marry a light-skin black gal so that the kids would have an easier time in life--having lighter skin. The episode was unfunny and unpleasant. What was really over the top--too, too much--was the audience. At the opening of the episode, it was reported that the episode was filmed in front of a live audience. This audience laughed way out out of this world--as if it was laughing simply to laugh and be heard. The lead actor, who is involved in behind-the-scenes work, such as writing, came of as flat and stale. Who was or is that? It is Jerrod Carmichael. And The Carmichael Show is a bad series!
Oh, on June 8, 2017, I happened to be at a bank in northern Lower Michigan in the nine o'clock hour in the morning, and, unfortunately for me (maybe), a television set in the lobby was showing MSNBC (that rotten television network). The network was getting ready for The Comey Hearing, in which former FBI Director James Comey was going to testify before the U.S. Senate Committee on Intelligence. At one point, Brian Williams was on the screen. Brian Williams was a guy who was forced to leave the anchor job for NBC Nightly News for doing corrupt journalism. A smart person knows the hearing was all crap, given, for instance, James Comey had worked to get Hillary Clinton elected, though she had violated the Espionage Act and had shown himself to be rotten. And so the broadcast took place, while I was no longer watching over the next so-and-so-amount of time, and one big thing that was learned was the James Comey (as the FBI director) had leaked material to the media--a felony.
At the opening of this edition of Television History and Trivia, I mention Emma Samms, and I hint at her idiocy (which I show in another document). Here, I have to present more nonsense about Emma Samms. On June 8, 2017, Emma Samms showed off some of her ignorance and rottenness. She had a twitter post with a photograph, which was called "Thought of the Day". One thought shown was from Nancy Pelosi (a U.S. Representative related to California and the Democratic Party (which is, for one, a communistic-type political party)), and the thought was--"The most powerful thing we own is our vote.". The other thought was from Bev Perdue (another Democratic and feminist), who had been the governor of North Carolina a little while ago), and the thought was--"If you don't vote, you don't count.". Both thoughts do have value. Anyone can say them, hoping to get more people to vote in an election, which, in this case, was related to an election taking place in, for instance, England, where Emma Samms lives. What is bad is the two women with the sayings are rotten women--promoting socialism and communism. And Emma Samms saw fit to promote them. And that is some of the rottenness in the mind of Emma Samms--promoting rotten people as good.
Now it is time for the famous segment called--Looking at the Movies. Normally, this section pushes you to see an old movie--one that was broadcast on Detroit television at sometime between 1948 (the first year for movies on television in Detroit) and 1953. Well, I have to expand to 1954, because Channel 9 (CKLW-TV), Windsor, Ontario, which is across the Detroit River from Detroit, was not on the air between 1948 and 1953 (in that period, only three stations were on the air). On September 26, 1954, Channel 9, played a movie for viewers starting at 1:00 p.m. The movie was a 1946 movie, and it was entitled Breakfast in Hollywood. Some of the performers were Tom Breneman, Zasu Pitts, and Bonita Granville. By the way, the King Cole Trio presented the first song in the movie; the King Cole Trio had the now-famous Nat King Cole on the piano. Also in the movie was Hedda Hopper. Around 1946, Hedda Hopper was already a famous newspaper columnist who wrote about Hollywood. Hats were a trademark-like image for Hedda Hopper. Hedda Hopper has a tie in with someone who performed in Perry Mason (the television series that has already been mentioned in this document)--William Hopper. William Hopper was Hedda Hopper's son, and William Hopper played Paul Drake (a detective) in Perry Mason. So pretend is is 1:00 p.m. on September 26, 1954. Go to YouTube, and fire up the movie called Breakfast in Hollywood. Incidentally, on September 26, 1954, the movie shown on Channel 9 was aired under the movie umbrella title--The Friendly Theatre.
Remember: The Prisoner with Patrick McGoohan was a television show that was produced across the pond and shown on CBS-TV in the late 1960s, and I urge you to find The Prisoner on DVD, maybe from a library, and watch it, and you should show it--all the episodes--to teenagers, or buy it as a present for teenagers.
Stay well!
Vic
P.S.: You are urged to see my document entitled One of "The Rules of Man"--A Rule About Health Care that No Politician May Supersede with Law, which can be reached through this Rule1 link. I have deduced that all the Democrats and most Republicans support the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 and have no intention of killing it, though it should be killed for violating, for one, "The Rules of Man." For example, Republicans Jeb Bush and Christ Christie support the rotten law, and that is one reason that I define them as stupid men and not men who are good enough--in this day and age--to be the U.S. President. I note that the "mandate"--which forces everyone to buy government-approved health-care insurance--violates one of "The Rules of Man," and it is a rule that is attacked in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010. Anyone who supports the "mandate" is not a good enough person or a smart enough person to be the U.S. president--the mandate is "enslavism," and the "mandate" allows government people--who are often and usually bad people, as history shows--decide what health care a person can get, and that is bad.
