Welcome to another edition of T.H.A.T.. It is about television. Unfortunately for you, it is about more of the garbage that is television today--in this day and age of the corrupt and evil Barack Obama administration.
So, the first main topic is this edition of T.H.A.T. is one of those--Did your favorite television newscast reports this news story? In 2010, the president of Bowdoin College (Barry Mills), which is in Brunswick, Maine, and a potential donor to the college (Thomas Klingenstein) met on a golf course to play golf and talk, such as about the college, and, after the event was held, Barry Mills would lie about what Thomas Klingenstein did while Barry Mills was in his turn at golfing, and Thomas Klingenstein, who had been put off by the college's push for "diversity" and not really teaching knowledge, commissioned at study of the college by National Association of Scholars (which is a "conservative" entity, which supports the ways of The United States Constitution unlike Barack Obama, who has violated the document a number of times since January 20, 2009). The study was written up by Peter Wood and Michael Toscano and released on April 3, 2013, and the study was called WHAT DOES BOWDOIN TEACH? How a Contemporary Liberal Arts College Shapes Students; the story focused on the school from 1794 to today, focusing heavily on the last 45 years (in 1969, the president of college changed the focus on the school curriculum, changing from a system designed on general educational requirements to a system designed on "college" education, and the purpose of the change was to liberate education (which a person should see is a vague idea)). The study from Peter Wood and Michael Toscano found the school had no American history courses, such as about the founding of the country, for students who were working to be history majors, and the study found that, currently, it had such courses as "Affirmative Action & U.S. Society," "Fictions of Freedom," "Racism," "Modern Western Prostitutes," and "Queer Gardens," which focused on gays and lesbians and gardening. The findings of the two men were laid out in about 360 pages, and the last paragraph of the study--a wrap-up paragraph-- is: "What does Bowdoin not teach? Intellectual modesty. Self-restraint. Hard work. Virtue. Self-criticism. Moderation. A broad framework of intellectual history. Survey courses. English composition. A course of Edward Spenser. A course primarily of the American Founders. A course on the American Revolution. The history of western civilization from classical times to the present. A course on the Christian philosophical tradition. Public speaking. Tolerance towards dissenting views. The predicates of critical thinking. A coherent body of knowledge. How to distinguish importance from triviality. Wisdom. Culture." I say that the college teaches a curriculum based on making students accepting of an "enslavism" form of government and society and on teaching students how not to think. This report and the entire incident is important news, and if your favorite television newscast did not report on it, it shows how rotten your favorite television newscast is. By the way, what a person can get out of the report by reading it is information that can show the person signs of what a bad "liberal arts" college or bad "liberal arts program" at a college is, that which, for one, does not pass on truthful facts about the history of the country from the founding days to today and the importance of The United States Constitution. The president of Bowdoin College--Barry Mills--may push the idea that the college teaches "diversity" and how vague ideas, but I say that Barry Mills teaches ignorance. [Wood, Peter, and Michael Toscano. WHAT DOES BOWDOIN TEACH? How a Contemporary Liberal Arts College Shapes Students [the report]. National Association of Scholars, April 3, 2013.] [Bigelow, William. So, did your favorite television newscast show a clip of New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg from April 22, 2013, when he showed his wish to throwaway the meaning The United States Constitution as it is, and the theme of his statement was tied to creating more gun-control laws. By the way, The United States Constitution allows citizens to have guns, and one reason it was set up that way so that the people could not be enslaved--having no way to fight back--against bad politicians or the federal government, should the federal government become corrupt and evil (which is sort of like what it is now, especially the Executive Branch of the federal government, which is controlled by Barack Obama, a perpetual liar, a communist, a racist, a support of Sharia (a tyrannical for of political system), et cetera). Michael Bloomberg said: "...We live in a complex world where your gonna have to have a level of security greater than you did back in the, ah, Olden Days, if you will. And our laws and our interpretation of The Constitution have to change...." You should see that Michael Bloomberg would like to twist the meaning of words--particularly the words that make up The United States Constitution dealing with the right of the citizens to "bare arms"--and you should see he supports having a constitution in which the meaning of it can changed from day to day or moment to moment. In essence, Michael Bloomberg was working to get guns out of the hands of the citizens of the country, and Michael Bloomberg's wish is idiocy and would be dangerous for good people if it were to come true.
So does your favorite newscast have commercials like that which I talk about here? On Monday, April 29, 2013, I was watching WXYZ-HD, Channel 7.1, Detroit, at about 8:47 a.m., and the station was running a commercial for its newscast, really for Carolyn Clifford, who is one of the anchors. The commercial--or "SPA"--had Carolyn Clifford talking about herself. By the way, sometimes people who grow up rich can be grow up to be bad people, and sometimes people who grow up poor can grow up to be bad people. In the commercial, Carolyn Clifford mentioned how she is one of ten children (for her parents) and how she grew up in Detroit. A part of what she said really showed off what a piece of crap of a woman that Carolyn Clifford is. She reported that she grew up poor. In addition, what she did was try to get people--most likely Detroiters, who, in great numbers, are consider poor--to watch her on television because she grew up poor, and the tactic is a sign of a crappy person. Yes, Carolyn Clifford promoted the idea that people should watch her and WXYZ-HD newscasts because she grew up poor, and she pushed the idea that, in essence, since she grew up poor she should be trusted as a newscaster. Carolyn Clifford who is one of the anchors who teams up with Stephen Clark (a piece of crap of a man, as I have shown in past) in evening newscasts is truly a piece of crap of a woman, and she happens to be one of the persons who grew up poor and ended up being a piece of crap of a woman. It happens in life.
Advertisement: In March 2009, a book called Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto, which had been written by Mark R. Levin, was published. Through the book, Mark R. Levin talks about how tyranny has been creeping into the country, and he also talks about how the country has been changing from a representative republic, which has a constitution as a basis, to something, yet to be defined, and although Mark R. Levin says that it is the statist who is causing the change, especially those who are a part of the Democratic Party and in government jobs, I say that it is communists, socialists, would-be dictators, and Marxists, such as Barack Obama, who are making the changes, such as by discarding The U.S. Constitution. I urge you to see and read Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto, and pass it on to others, especially teenagers and young adults (and consider listening to The Mark Levin Show, the nationally syndicated radio show, on a regular basis).
On Tuesday, April 9, 2013, I came across information that had been published by U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (a Republican related to Texas) earlier in the day that reported on events tied to the Barack Obama administration that had taken place over the past 15 months or so, and the information from U.S. Senator Ted Cruz showed off more of the bad nature of the Barack Obama administration or, really, Barack Hussein Obama, and I bet your favorite television newscast did not report on U.S. Senator Ted Cruz's newly issued information. On Tuesday, April 9, 2013, U.S. Ted. Cruz issued a reported called The Legal Limit: The Obama Administration's Attempts to Expand Federal Power (on the same day, he issued a press released entitled "Sen. Cruz Releases Inaugural Report of Obama Administration's Unprecedented Attempts to Expand Federal Power," which talked about the report). Basically, the report told of six instances in which the U.S. Supreme Court ruled against the Barack Obama administration (particularly the U.S. Department of Justice, which is ultimately controlled by Barack Obama, who was the U.S. President at the time of the instances), and, for example, if the U.S. Supreme Court had not ruled against, in essence, Barack Obama, Barack Obama would have been able to issue rules to have all motorists have a GPS unit on their vehicle so that the federal government could track people at will, and Barack Obama would have been able to be involved in deciding who could become ministers for churches, and Barack Obama could destroy private property without paying the property owners any just compensation, and yet another bad thing that Barack Obama could have done, if he had not lost in court, was override state laws through Executive Orders. Truly, what Barack Obama wanted to be able to do shows off his dictatorial and evil nature and his push to turn the country into a dictatorship, and there is no other conclusion that a person can draw. It must be pointed out that Barack Obama lost through unanimous decisions (and, of course, that means even the left-wing justices on the court went against Barack Obama, and why they did I cannot report on here, but it is something for a person to wonder about).
Special commentary: I have been saying for years that the United States of America is in the middle of "The Pseudo Information Age and the Age of Ignorance." Every day, I can turn on the television and hear idiot thought from news people and talk-show hosts, especially those of the Sunday morning political talk shows on the networks. At the moment, Detroit is a dead city, and I state that Detroit is going to remain a dead city for decades because the approach being used to make Detroit a live city is defective, pushing socialism and communism and ignorance. On Sunday, April 21, 2013, WXYZ-TV, Channel 7.1, Detroit, aired a program that showed proof of my statement, and the show was 20D20 Awards, a second annual event that gave out three awards to citizens who it was felt deserved praise for what they are doing. The "Unify Award" went to Gary Wozniak, who is involved in trying to set up, in essence, little community farms or greenhouses in Detroit. The "Inspire Award" went to Riet Schumack, who is involved in trying to get children involved in gardens. And the "Act Award" went to Terry Grah, who is involving in doing interior decorating for, for example, women's shelters. (The names of the awards make my think "socialism.") All the awards were tied to non-profit entities. No awards went to persons trying to set up a broaching machine shop, and no awards went to getting guys involved in working with machines, which can repair things or make things, and no awards went to persons involved in setting up real businesses, from dress shops to plumbing shops. By the way, the show was introduced by Ed Fernandez (the vice president and general manager of WXYZ-TV), and it was hosted by station-staffers Carolyn Clifford and Stephen Clark, the latter of whom I will always remember for his defective five-part series of several years ago for WXYZ-TV that promoted a socialistic-style health-care system for the country, which included lying about the Canadian health-care system (making it seem that it was a good system). Also seen on the awards program--introducing segments--were JoAnne Purtan and Dave LewAllen. The program promoted shallow efforts to make Detroit better and promoted socialism (which is nothing more than soft-line communism). The following day--Monday, April 22, 2013--the station had another program for viewers that promoted nonsense, and it was Climate Matters, which was hosted by Dave Rexroth (a staffer of the weather department of the station). Before I would see the program, I saw a promotional spot for the series, which noted that the program was going to look at, for one, how climate change could be affecting the weather of Detroit. I report--there is no computer big enough in the world to prove any link between climate change and the affect of the so-called climate change on the weather of Detroit, and anyway, it has already been proven, such as in December 2009, that the manmade-climate-change idea is a hoax being pushed along by communists and such, a few of whom are associated with NOAA and NASA (entities of the federal government of the United States of America, which is currently headed by Barack Hussein Obama, a perpetual liar and a communist).
Note: Here is something that is not tied to television, but it is something that I felt I had to report somewhere. The Detroit Free Press is a newspaper that pushes communism and socialism. On Sunday, April 7, 2013, that back page of the comics section of the paper--which is called "The Mini Page" and which is aimed at children--had a tiny article called "Water 411." The article clearly was pushing the idea of climate change and water use, pushing the idea that we use too much water, which, I say, is nonsense, given water is not destroyed by using it. One line of the article was: "It takes 924 gallons of water to raise a 2-pound chicken." I child who reads that will probably feel that that is bad--using all the water and maybe using it up--and something has to be done to stop that from happening. The final line of the article, which followed the "chicken" line, was: "It takes 1,800 gallons to raise 1 pound of beef." Do you not see "The Pseudo Information Age and the Age of Ignorance"? I had to joke to myself upon seeing the article--Wow, some child might think "924" gallons of water weighs about "7,400" pounds and think I have to see one of those 7,400-pound chickens (about eight pounds (the approximate weight of a gallon of water) multiplied by 924 gallons of water).Let me show up bad, bad reporting in the media, and, in fact, let me say that I am going to show up corruption in the media. Around the week of Sunday, April 7, 2013, news entities, especially left-wing (run by communists and socialists or anti-Americans), were reporting on what U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell (a Republican related to Kentucky) and his staffers said one day in an office about a potential election opponent named Ashley Judd (the well-known singer and actress and a big supporter of "enslavism" and Barack Obama), and the news-media people were using statements that had been acquired by someone through hidden microphones and had been published in a left-wing magazine called Mother Jones. It is illegal to record people talking and make the recordings of the people public knowledge (without their permission or without a court order that allows it). What Mitch McConnell and staffers said was not a criminal offense or wrong! Whoever secretly recorded what was said in private and without a court order that allowed the recording to take place committed a crime. During the week, I heard left-wing media people try to convince customers that it was Mitch McConnell and this staffers who were bad people, and I did not hear any left-wing media people bring up the idea that the person who did the secret and unauthorized recording committed a crime or I did not come across any evidence that left-wing media people were working to make the "recording event," which was and is a crime, something that should have higher news priority over Mitch McConnell and his staffers' talking about Ashley Judd.
By the way, did you hear the one--the crap--on television newscasts recently about the idiots and evil persons--Maryland-based politicians and, indirectly, people at the Environmental Protection Agency--who are imposing a "rain tax" on owners of, for example, buildings with roofs or driveways or parking lots, all tied to the idea of run off of water, it not being absorbed into the ground on the non-porous man-made surfaces? The crap is a sign of "enslavism." Only evil persons and idiots in government would push for and enact a tax that is tied to, for one, something that is designed to keep rain out of your house! It does seem to me it--which is actually happening--goes too far into the world of nuttiness (but that is the world of Barack Hussein Obama, who is a driving force for that today--when a highly corrupt and evil man is set into the highest position of government, all the nuts see that they have supporter of their nuttiness and their evil ways and then come out of hiding, knowing they have backing and even protection). [I saw a report about the topic from Fox News at the website for the Western Center for Journalism on April 13, 2013, and the website called the story (text with video) "The 'Rain Tax' Is No Joke!", and it was posted on April 13, 2013.]
Oh, as usual, I heard crap from a politician on a Sunday morning political talk show recently, hearing it from U.S. Representative Kirsten Gillibrand ((Democrat related to New York) on Sunday, April 14, 2013. Really, I turned on the television set, flipped through the channels, stopped for a moment on NBC-TV (basically, a "communist" television network), heard Kirsten Gillibrand say a few words, and shut the television set off. Basically, Kirsten Gillibrand pushed out the idea that, if you fix the immigration system (which meant to her letting illegal aliens--who are federal law breakers--become citizens) you improve the economy. That is crap! But crap from a Democratic Party politician is the way of life, since the Democratic Party is a political party that pushes "enslavism" and is a political party made up of thugs and idiots and evil people, and that is a "Rule of Man."
Announcement for the novice again: To get useful television-delivered news or Internet-delivered news, go to Fox News Channel, WorldNetDaily.com, "The Drudge Report," and CNS News (which is on the Internet and which was launched on June 16, 1998), since the entities do not blindly support Barack Obama, as do CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV (to learn about bad journalism, you might tune in to CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV from time to time to see how they differ from the Fox News Channel and those mentioned with it in presenting political stories and events, and you should discover CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV avoid covering things that make Barack Obama look bad or show his true nature, which could harm you). If you are unclear of my intentions, I say in different words that you should boycott CNN, MSNBC, NBC-TV, CBS-TV, and ABC-TV and hope they lose more ratings and advertising revenues, since they are expendable, and it is time for you to find the guts to be mean and heartless and cancel them--since they are hurting you.
On Wednesday, May 8, 2013, hearings were held in the U.S. House of Representatives about what I call the "Benghazi Killings Scandal" (which I first wrote about in my document entitled The "Benghazi Killings Scandal": A Short Information-and-Status Report, which can be reached by using this Benghazi link and which is about the killings of Americans in Benghazi, Libya, on September 11, 2013, and the nothing that was done to save them (such as by Barack Hussein Obama)). The hearings showed up how corrupt the main media networks are as a whole. In the early 1970s, during the Watergate Hearings, which focused on U.S. President Richard M. Nixon and a break in at a hotel in which no one died, the broadcast networks covered the hearings live. On Wednesday, May 8, 2013, the broadcast networks did not carry any of the hearings about the "Benghazi Killings Scandal," and the Fox News Channel did a lot of coverage, and the other cable news networks barely touched the hearings.
So did your favorite television newscast fully and correctly report on the hearings? If not, your favorite television newscast supports killers and corruption in government--right up to the U.S. President, Barack Hussein Obama. That is what you get with socialism and communism and Sharia--violence and corruption and lies and all from the politicians.
Remember: The Democratic Party in the United States of America now stands for socialism and communism and Sharia, especially communism, and some members of the Republican Party in the United States of America are in league with the Democratic Party, such as U.S. Senator John McCain and U.S. Representative John Boehner (who, as the head of the U.S. House of Representatives, for example, has been blocking the idea of naming a special entity to investigate the "Benghazi Killings Scandal" fully).
Note: By the way, on Thursday, May 9, 2013, the Detroit Free Press had no story about the hearings in the paper edition, and that shows the evil that makes up the management and staff of the Detroit Free Press.Remember: The Prisoner with Patrick McGoohan was a television show that was produced across the pond and shown on CBS-TV in the late 1960s, and I urge you to find The Prisoner on DVD, maybe from a library, and watch it, and you should show it--all the episodes--to teenagers, or buy it as a present for teenagers.
Stay well!
