In early November 2009, I felt I should create a document that listed left-wing organizations that exist in the United States of America, because I had run into people who were unaware of even some of the most well-known organizations that are really left-wing organizations, such as by having Marxist tendencies. Today, a "left-wing" entity can be identified as a "liberal," "progressive," Maxism-based, communism-based, or socialism-based entity, and such an entity does not support the political ideas of the founders of the United States of America and many people who live in the United States of America today, and, in fact, such as entity is operated or run by people who would like to change the United States of America from what it was founded as to something a lot different, such as a country run by an oligarchy regime or a dictator, which seems to be what Barack Obama would like (you should see my document entitled Conservatism for Children and What Conservatism Means, which can be reached by using this link: Conservatism.). I have learned many such organizations today are environmental-type organizations or are organizations that are pushing for control of the country and the individual through environmental rules and laws (you should see my document that has information about the push for an international climate-change treaty, and that document is entitled World Tyranny: Warnings about the Insane Who are Trying to Create at Communist World Country, which can be reached by using the link at the end of this document, and I make it clear here that Barack Obama is one person who is pushing for such an international treaty), and you can identify such an organization if it is pushing to have "manmade climate-change" or "manmade global warming" legislation passed by the federal government, such as some type of "cap-and-trade" legislation. I say, in shot, this document is an overview, offering, mostly, only the names of left-wing organizations and offering at least one note of proof that each is a left-wing organization, and once a person sees the document, the person can do more research for the self to find out about the organizations listed, such as by looking at past articles in computer databases that contain articles of newspapers and magazines, such as Lexix/Nexis (which might be able available at a nearby state university).
AARP -- "AARP" originally was called the American Association of Retire Person and AARP has existed since 1958. The organization is made up of members, who join by paying a fee, and, in essence, it is an organization made up of senior citizens or persons who are at least fifty years of age). The management of the AARP sold out the members of the organization in the fall of 2009 by supporting Barack Obama's health-care push, such as HR 3962, which was a horrific health-care bill and which was really a communistic, socialistic, and Marxist piece of legislation. Generally speaking, Barack Obama's wish for health-care reform will lead to bad health care or no health care for seniors citizens because of rationing, which happens with the national health-care system in England (which got started in 1948) and with the national health-care system in Canada (which got started in 1984).
ACORN -- The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now was founded in 1970, and since then, it has become public knowledge that ACORN has been involved in fraudulent voting activities (voter registration) and has been involved in other suspect activities, such as, in 2009, its offering advice to two persons (Hannah Giles and James O'Keefe, who were working undercover, respectively, as a prostitute and pimp) about how to cheat on taxes and how to get around getting in trouble by having underage women work as prostitutes for them, and, for instance, Barack Obama, who has shown himself to be at least a communist and socialist, worked with ACORN, doing law work for the organization in Chicago, Illinois, and running the "Project Vote" campaign in relation to ACORN (in 1991).
American Civil Liberties Union -- The Internet encyclopedia known as Wikipedia.com notes that this organization is made up to two entities--the ACLU Foundation and the American Civil Liberties Union and that this organization's mission is "to defend and preserve the civil rights and liberties guaranteed to every person in this country by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, but the the encyclopedia shows that the entity is an "activist" entity, the founding of which as the National Civil Liberties Bureau in 1918 has ties to the old American Union Against Militarism and opposed the U.S. entry into World War I (it was in 1920 that the name of the organization became what it is today), and, for example, in the past, one of its clients has been the North American Man/Boy Love Association (which supports homosexuality between men and boys), and, also, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who is known as a very liberal judge on the U.S. Supreme Court today, was the first director of the Women's Rights Project of the ACLU ("American Civil Liberties Union." Wikipedia.com, 26 October 2009.).
American Federation of Teachers -- This entity, which is an organization to which some teachers belong, was founded in 1916, and it is considered the second-biggest education labor union in the country, and it endorsed Barack Obama for U.S. President.
American Medical Association -- The American Medical Association is often called the "AMA." This organization is made up of member doctors, and it only represents a small number of all the doctors who practice within the United States of America. In late 2009, the AMA was one organization that sided with Barack Obama in the health-care issue by supporting Barack Obama's socialistic/communistic/Marxist health-care bills, such as HR 3962; really, it was the management of the AMA that supported Barack Obama's plans.
American Nurses Association -- This organization was founded as the Nurses Associated Alumnae in 1896, and it adopted the current name in 1911, and the management of this organization endorsed Barack Obama for the office of the U.S. President in the United States of America.
Communist Party USA -- At the Web site for the Communist Party USA, it is stated: "We Communists believe that socialism is the very best replacement for a capitalist system that has served its purpose, but no longer meets the needs and requirements of the great majority of our people." Yes, that what was listed, and you should see that the Communist Party USA is an organization that thinks it owns people, as seen in the words "majority of our people" This entity is a Marxist-Leninist political party that was founded 1919.
Democratic Party -- The Democratic Party is one of the two big political parties in the United States of America, and, today, it is really a political party made up of people who subscribe to the values of communism, socialism, fascism, and Marxism, as can be seen in those who run the party, such as Barack Obama, who has adopted the policies of Saul Alinsky (a communist), whose book Rules for Radicals: A Pragmatic Primer for Realistic Radicals was published in 1971 and has been followed by Barack Obama (McLeod, Judi. "Saul Alinsky's son: 'Obama learned his lessons well.'" CanadianFreePress.com, 2 September 2008.).
Families USA -- This entity, which was founded in 1982, bills itself as "The Voice for Health Care Consumers." It promotes Edward Kennedy's health-care push (U.S. Senator Edward Kennedy died in August 2009, and I have shown in T.H.A.T. #65 that Edward Kennedy was a traitor to the country, and that document can be reached by using this link: T.H.A.T. #65). The organization supports Barack Obama's health-care reform for the United States of America, as is shown in a press statement made by Ron Pollack, the Executive Director for Families USA, of February 24, 2009: "President Obama is absolutely correct that the nation's economy and federal budget cannot be fixed without meaningful health care reform. It is essential that the reform process begin immediately so that legislation can be adopted as early as possible in 2009." Also, the entity supported HR 3962 (which was a health-care bill promoted by U.S. Representative Nancy Pelosi) as good (the bill was released to the public on October 29, 2009).
Greenpeace -- This is an international environmental activist organization that was founded in 1971.
MoveOn.org -- In essence, this is an Internet-based political-action group, the founding of which can be traced to 1998, and the organization endorsed Barack Obama for U.S. President.
National Education Association -- This organization, which is often called the "NEA," is considered the largest labor union of "professionals" in the United States of America, and it is made up of people involved in the education industry, such as teachers. The NEA was founded in 1857, and a part of its mission statement is: "...to advocate for education professionals and to unite our members and the nation to fulfill the promise of public education to prepare every student to succeed in a diverse and interdependent world." In July 2008, the NEA endorsed Barack Obama for U.S. President, and, in 2009, the management supported same-sex marriage.
Nation of Islam -- This organization was founded in Detroit, Michigan, in 1930, and it is an organization headed by radical Louis Farrakhan, who is an associate of Barack Obama's and who is a racist (a hater of "whites"), and, in fact, the Nation of Islam believes that "whites" are devils, and, by the way, the late Malcolm X, who was another hater of "whites," was once a member of the Nation of Islam (in the 1950s and 1960s).
New Black Panther Party -- This organization is more formally known as the New Black Panther Party of Self-Defense, and it is a black supremacist group, which, you should see by the title, dislikes "whites." The entity was founded in 1989, and, sort of, it is replacement for the Black Panther Party, which was a group of black supremacists (who supported black nationalism and Marxism) from about 1966 to at least the 1970s. It became public knowledge in January 2009 that the U.S. Justice Department (yet under the George W. Bush administration) had indicted several members of the group for having used intimidation on voters in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, during the national election of November 2008, and, in May 2009, the U.S. Justice Department (now under the Barack Obama administration) dropped the charges.

PETA -- "PETA" stands for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals" and was founded in 1980.
Sierra Club -- This organization was founded in 1892, and it has become a environmental activist group that has at least socialistic themes, though the mission statement is: "To explore, enjoy, protect the wild places of the earth; To practice and promote the responsible use of the earth's ecosystems and resources; To educate and enlist humanity to protect and restore the quality of the natural and human environment; and to use all lawful means to carry out these objectives." It was the Sierra Club and other entities, such as the Audubon Society, that pushed for banning the use of DDT (an insect-killing product) in the early 1970s, work of which had been started in the 1960s (such as with the 1962 book entitled Silent Spring written by Rachel Carson), and the ban led to the death of millions in Africa, because, for example, the population of mosquitoes carrying malaria was able to flourish and grow.
Socialist Party USA -- On Thursday, November 12, 2009, the main Web page for this document noted: "THE SOCIALIST PARTY strives to establish a radical democracy that places people's lives under their own control - a non-racist, classless, feminist society...where working people own and control the means of production and distribution through democratically-controlled public agencies; where full employment is realized for everyone who wants to work; where workers have the right to form unions freely, and to strike and engage in other forms of job actions; and where the production of society is used for the benefit of all humanity, not for the private profit of a few. We believe socialism and democracy are one and indivisible. The working class is in a key and central position to fight back against the ruling capitalist class and its power. The working class is the major force worldwide that can lead the way to a socialistic future - to a real radical democracy from below. The Socialist Party fights for progressive changes compatible with a socialist future. We support militant working class struggles and electoral action, independent of the capitalist controlled two-party system, to present socialist alternatives...." This statement shows how much nonsense fills the minds of those involved in the Socialist Party USA. For example, in the United States of America, there is not "private profit for a few." Also, the statements tries to say that the United States of America is set up as a class society, which it is not, but in the country that they want to change the United States of America into, you would end up with (1) a ruling class and (2) workers (who are treated all the same, though not all types of work are equal and require equal knowledge). By the way, the political party, which is considered a minor party in the United States of America, was founded in 1901.
Service Employees International Union -- The Service Employees International Union is informally known as the SEIU; it was originally founded in Building Services Employees Union in 1921, and it adopted the current name in 1980. The management of this union endorsed Barack Obama to be the U.S. President and has endorsed the policies of Barack Obama, and it has publicly been showed that this organization is a corrupt organization.
United Auto Workers -- The organization, which was founded in 1935, is known informally as the UAW, and, on June 10, 2008, the management of the UAW endorsed Barack Obama for the office of the President of the United States of America, and because of the work of Barack Obama to change Chrysler and General Motors, after the bankruptcies of both in early 2009, the UAW became one of the owners in the new Chrysler and the new General Motors in mid-2009.
World Wildlife Fund -- This organization is an international organization that was founded in 1961, and it is based in Switzerland. In November 2009, people in America began to hear Public Services Announcements made by this organization that used children to push the idea of getting Barack Obama to sign the proposed United Nations climate-change treaty in Copenhagan, Denmark, in December 2009, and the video with the children making the plea was informally called "Copenhagen Kids." I show evidence in my document entitled World Tyranny: Warnings about the Insane Who are Trying to Create a Communist World Country that, if the climate-change treaty is signed by Barack Obama and adopted by the U.S. Senate, the treaty will circumvent The U.S. Constitution.
I could have listed a number of media entitles that are left-wing media entities, but, for example, I use the document entitled Never Forget These Media "Darlings" ?: A Guide for the Individual in the United States of America to report on left-wing media people and media entitles, and I have a document entitled The Enemies List: Killers of the United States of America, which contains more useful information, and you will find links to both documents at the end of this document.
In the end, the novice to politics and to what organizations in the country are actually working to undermine the United States of America as it was founded and to undermine The U.S. Constitution has to remember a simple rule--Organizations that clearly support Barack Obama or Barack Obama's policies are left-wing organizations, since Barack Obama is a left-wing radical, as can be seen by reading a number of my documents (such as THE CRUD AROUND BARACK OBAMA: My Rule--"Like Minds Get Together", a link to which exists at the end of this document), and entities that support the Democratic Party must be viewed a left-wing organizations since the management of the Democratic Party is a collection of left-wing radicals (the Democratic Party is not the Democratic Party of the 1950s/1960s, or the Democratic Party of today is much more off to the "left" than the Democratic Party of the 1950s/1960s.
