WARNING AND ANNOUNCEMENT
I begin this document with a statement about news
that I first learned about on WTCM-AM (580) in
Traverse City, Michigan, during Norm Jones' radio
show on June 16, 2010--I heard that about two countries
of Arizona were now labeled as off limits to Americans
because the counties were, in essence, under
the control of drug smugglers, such as Mexicans.
Read to the end of this document for more
information about this clear invasion of the
U.S.A. by a foreign enemy.
"La Raza":
Yet Another Enemy
in the United States of America
Some people--real citizens and naturalized citizens--who are good and honorable and wish the best of other people in the United States of America are unaware that some groups of people are working to destroy the United States of America. Barack Obama is certainly one person who is working to destroy the United States of America as it was founded and make the country something else, which might be some type of communist dictatorship (as I show through a number of documents that are available at the Web site for The Hologlobe Press, such as Barack Obama's Plan for Taking Over the United States of America: A Not-So Impossible Plan, which can be reached by using this Plan link), and the true reasons that Barack Obama wants to change the country are rooted in, for example, his ill mind and his defective beliefs, such as those tied to the teachings of communists, such as Saul Alinsky. Islamic Radicals are other persons who wish to destroy the United States of America, and the main reason that they wish to do harm to the United States of America is rooted in defective religious beliefs, such as those related to Sharia (and I talk about Sharia and Sharia-Compliant finance in my document entitled Sharia Law, Shariah-Compliant Finance, Radical Islam, and Barack Obama, which can be reached by using this Sharia link), and since Barack Obama has supported Radical Muslims, as was shown in how he dealt with the protesters in Iran in the summer of 2009, during which he supported the dictators of Iran, Barack Obama certainly wishes to uphold the ways of Sharia. For a number of years or even several decades, citizens of the United States of America, especially those in the southwestern region, have been having to deal with illegal aliens who have been coming from Mexico and countries that exist south of Mexico, at least some of whom are drug smugglers and killers and thieves, and, in April 2010, some citizens of the region--those in Arizona--took action to deal with the illegal-alien problem, particularly by enacting a law who would give police help in dealing with illegal aliens, and, certainly, some of those aliens support another enemy of the United States of America--"La Raza." This document gives information about "La Raza" and the "La Raza" movement or the "Reconquista" movement (in essence, "La Raza" means "The Race" in English, and "Reconquista" can be likened to "Reconquista" in English).
* * * The Themes of La Raza * * *
To me, the rise of the modern "radical"--the black radical, the modern communist, the modern socialist, et cetera--who is against the United States of America as it was founded and against the majority of Americans of the country really took off in the 1960s, and it was also in the 1960s when the rise of the modern Hispanic radical began to take place. The modern Hispanic radical is looking for some type of change in the United States of America, either through supposedly peaceful means or through violent means of some type, and, for the purpose of this document, the main change that is wanted by the modern Hispanic radical is to take control or possession of a portion of the United States of America, which can be called, generally speaking, the southwestern region of the United States of America. The modern Hispanic radical is part of what can be informally called the "La Raza" movement or the "Reconquista" movement, and the most of the people involved in that movement what to take back Arizona, California, Colorado, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, and Utah and a portion of Washington from the United States of American and make it a part of Mexico again, or they want to, really, take back the land that is made up of Arizona, California, Colorado, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, and Utah and a portion of Washington and make land a part of what they define as "Aztlan." In addition, members of the movement want to expel Europeans from their "Aztlan" or they want to expel Europeans, Asians, Africans, and all others not like them from their "Aztlan" or, beyond that, at least the North American continent. By the way, it was in the 1960s, that the word "Aztlan" began to come into common use at least by Hispanics because of a Chicano activist name Oscar Zeta Acosta. When you examine that "La Raza" movement or the "Reconquista" movement, you can see that the members, in essence, are racists, and the "La Raza" movement and "Reconquista" movement has themes of Marxism, particularly communism and socialism, and some of the members or entities involved in the "La Raza" movement or "Reconquista" movement are really nothing more than collections of gangs or thugs, following gang philosophy and paramilitary philosophy. Today, many of the people who are involved in the "La Raza" movement or the "Reconquista" movement follow the what can be called the "La Raza" manifesto--"El Plan de Aztlan" (or "El Plan Espiritual de Aztlan" or "The Spiritual Plan for Aztlan")--which was developed out of the conference (the National Chicano Liberation Conference) held in Denver, Colorado, in March 1969, and which was hosted by an entity called the Crusade for Justice, and one of the goals of that manifesto is to get economic control of the United States of America by getting "the exploiter out of our communities, our pueblos, and our lands." Although not everyone involved in the "La Raza" movement or the "Reconquista" movement may actually follow "El Plan de Aztlan" (or "El Plan Espiritual de Aztlan"), those who directly follow "El Plan de Aztlan" (or "El Plan Espiritual de Aztlan" or "The Spiritual Plan for Aztlan") and those who do not directly follow "El Plan de Aztlan" (or "El Plan Espiritual de Aztlan" or "The Spiritual Plan for Aztlan") are indeed working to make "Aztlan" whole again.
* * * Entities involved in La Raza or Reconquista * * *
This section contains information about entities that are involved in the La Raza movement or the Reconquista movement and entitles whose--at least--prominent members have ties to the La Raza movement or the Reconquista movement. It could be argued well by me that these entities--are at least some of these entites--are familiar to Americans who live in states located in the southwestern region of the United States of America or the western third or so of the United States of America and that these entities are known to only a few of the Americans who live in the remainder of the United States of America. I hope I have presented information about enough organizations so that you can see the La Raza movement or the Reconquista movement is not confined to a few persons in the country whom you might call "radicals" and whom you might then regard as not worth thinking about because you feel they could not possibly pose a danger to the country.
The Brown Berets de Aztlan -- The original "Brown Berets" was create in the 1960s and was sort of based on the Black Panthers, which was a radical black group of around the 1960s nad 1970s (today, the entity known as the New Black Panthers exists), and the original Brown Bertes formally existed in the 1960s and 1970s, and, in 1994, another "Brown Berets" (the Watsonville Brown Berets) entity was created. It is not easy to find information about the members of Brown Berets of Aztlan, some of whom I have seen in pictures and look like thugs to me, and it is not surprising to me that it is hard to fine information about members, since thugs often keep quiet about who they are. It was on Sunday, May 23, 2010, that I first found several photographs on the Internet that show members of the group, and they look not unlike members of radical black groups, such as the Black Panters of the past; incidentally, in 2008, it was publicly known that this paramilitary group was looking for more recruits. One of the men associated with the Brown Berets de Aztlan is David Rico, Jr., the son of the man who was instrumental in setting up the original "Brown Berets" (David Rico), and around April 2010, David Rico, Jr., reported that, in San Diego, California, there were about one-hundred members. On May 23, 2010, at the Web site for the National Brown Berets, a person could find these statements related to the mission of the entity: "The Brown Berets are dedicated to preserving the past, protecting the present and creating a future throughout the barrios of the world. We are not bound by borders nor are we limited by political ideology....Our structure is military so that we may have the discipline necessary to organize, mobilize and protect our community. We are committed to the defense of our Raza and our nation Aztlan and we will do it at all costs....We are an organization building on a proud history of accomplishments and we recognize that "El Movimiento" does not belong to one group of individuals but rather to every Chicano and Chicana that has participated or supported 'La Causa" Over the past 40 years...." The National Brown Berets wants, for example, bilingual education, police to be required to speak Chicano and live in the communities in which they work, a "guaranteed annual income of $45,000 for all Chicano families," and the right to vote for illegal aliens.
The Campus Alliance of La Raza -- The Campus Alliance of La Raza (or "En La Union Esta Fuerza") is based at the University of Delaware, Newark, Delaware. On Sunday, May 23, 2010, I went to the Web site for this organization and found the mission statement: "The Campus Alliance of La Raza (CALR) is part of a network of college student organizations that works closely with the The National Council of La Raza (NCLR) to increase youth leadership and advance positive social change on University campuses, in Latino communities, and throughout the United States. The CALR rests on two important pillars: 1) advocacy in pursuit of the advancement of the Latino agenda and 2) the intellectual and social development of its members." Besides having the mission statement on the main page, I found on May 23, 2010 this statement made by Marco Davis of the National Council of La Raza: ""Some identify their role and take their place in the struggle. [The CALR] on the other hand is well on the way to building an infrastructure that will create an Army."." Also on that day, a photograph of Barack Obama addressing the NCLR at some event was positioned above this set of words: "...In the summer of 2004, Craig de Mariana Aleman, a student at the University of Delaware, recognized the need for a Latino Student Union, an organization that would unite the community under one banner, represent Latinos on campus, and work to promote leadership development and advance minority affairs, not just Latino affairs. Together with Guillermo Febres and Melody Casagrande, The Campus Alliance de La Raza was born." On Sunday, May 23, 2010, I found text at the Web site for the Campus Alliance of Law Raza that was a definition of "The Latino Agenda.". Four statements were presented: (1) "Reduce poverty and discrimination of Latino communities", (2) "Increase life opportunities for under-represented populations, especially Hispanics, within the United States", (3) "Empower the Latino community, primarily through the establishment and strengthening of community institutions such as community based non-profit organizations", and (4) "Improve the Latino community's public image in the United States."
The Center for Community Development and Civil Rights -- On May 24, 2010, the Web site associated with this entity reported: "The Center for Community Development and Civil Rights at the University of Arizona was founded in January 2005 by Raul Yzaguirre to empower people by building bridges between the university and the community as catalysts for transformation." This entity is located at the University of Arizona, Phoenix, Arizona. Before Raul Yzaguirre would set up this entity, he was the head of the National Council of La Raza. Twice a year, this entity holds a Civil Rights Forum (on April 2, 2010, the main speaker at the event was Antony Romero, the Executive Director of the American Civil Liberties Union, which is a left-wing entity).
El Centro de la Raza -- The English name of this entity is the Center for the People of All Races," and, generally speaking, it exists in the Seattle area of Washington. Yet, when I went to the main page of the Web site for this organization on Monday, May 24, 2010, I saw this statement listed: "A voice and hub for the Latino community as we advocate on behalf of our people and work to achieve social justice." The "mission" for the organization is (as stated on the Web site on May 24, 2010): "As an organization grounded in the Latino community, our mission is to build unity across all racial and economic sectors, to organize, empower, and defend our most vulnerable and and marginalized populations and to bring to justice, dignity, equality, and freedom to all the peoples of the world." And on May 24, 2010, I found that the "values" statement is: "We envision a world free of oppression based on poverty, racism, sexism, sexual orientation, and discrimination of any kind that limits equal access to the resources that ensure a healthy and productive life in peace, love and harmony for all peoples and our future generations." This entity was founded in 1972.
The Chicano Student Movement of Aztian -- A number of Chicano student activist organizations got started in 1960s, and it was in 1969 that Chicano Student Movement of Aztian (or "Movinmiento Estudianti Chicano de Aztian," which is simply known as MEChA), was started up at the University of California Santa Barbara. This group is an anti-American group, and the members of this group call themselves as "Mechistas" (or "MEChists"). In fact, this group can be considered a communist-based group.
Note: Human Events published an article on the Internet entitled "Exclusive: The Truth About 'La Raza" that had a statement that existed at that Web site for the MEChA unit at the University of Oregon on January 3, 2006: "Chicano is our identity; it defines who we are as a people. It rejects the notion that we...should assimilate into the Anglo-American melting pot...Aztlan was the legendary homeland of the Aztecas...It became synonymous with the vast territories of the Southwest, brutally stolen from a Mexican people marginalized and betrayed by the hostile custodians of Manifest Destiny." (Norwood, Rep. Charlie. "Exclusive: The Truth About 'La Raza." Human Events, 7 April 2006.The La Raza Justice Movement -- This entity is based in Houston, Texas. On Sunday, May 23, 2010, I went to the Web site for this organization, and I found a number of statements listed under the "About" page, and here are some of those statements:
"1. We believe that the so-called Latino is the original and rightful caretakers of this part of the world. Therefore, we are not immigrants. We believe that the so-called Latino is a descendent of some of the world's most advanced and beautiful (indigenous) cultures of the world, and that we will reclaim this beauty and achievement through Our Restoration (O/R).
"2. We believe that the United States has acquired its wealth and power through exploitation and theft of land (from our ancestors), theft of labor (from Africans) and through the exploitation of resources. We believe that the fruit of this exploitation never becomes legitimate as long as the victims continue to demand justice."
There were thirteen statements listed, but I will not show them all, but I will show one more, the final statement:
"13. We want a government controlled by us (Our New Anahuac) which will promote and contribute to the development of the full potential of our people and to Our Restoration (O/R)."
On May 23, 2010, I found at the Web site for the La Raza Justice Movement that it condemns the use of "Illegal Immigrant" and opposes "SB 1070" of Arizona, which is the Support Our Law Enforcement and Safe Neighborhoods Act, which was made law in Arizona on April 23, 2010 (and to learn more about the act, you should see my document entitled Illegal Aliens and Immigration: The Focus is On Protecting the Home--The United States of America, which can be reached by using this link: Illegal).La Raza Unida Party -- This political party was created in 1970 by Jose Angel Guitierrez and and Mario Compean, the latter of whom had been involved in the creation of the Mexican American Youth Organization in 1967, and this entity has been involved in trying to organize Latinos, Chicanos, and Native Americans into a group. Today, this entity is based in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
On Sunday, May 23, 2010, I found "Our Policy Directions" for this entity at a Web site associated with the organization, and some of those are:
"Our Policy Directions are our Principles applied to Politics. We believe that we need to carry on our heritage of expanding rights and opportunities. We owe most of our freedoms to those who worked before us. It is our responsibility to build a better future for following generations."
"Democracy: Maximize community participation. Minimize concentrations of political, corporate, and media power. Establish and support publicly financed elections. Increase voter choice. Invest in civic education and participation."
"Family Friendly Economy: Support for people working for a living in order to support families. Eliminate below poverty-wages. Create family-friendly jobs. Family supports to encourage health families."
"Health: Eliminate the social inequalities that create health inequalities. Provide health care for all."
"Energy: Renewable energy. Energy independence from foreign oil. Look at how energy use impact public health. Halt global warming. Energy conservation."The League of United Latin American Citizens (or LULAC) -- This entity has a history that goes back to 1929, and it started out at Corpus Christi, Texas, and it was involved in what is considered the first Hispanic civil rights case that appeared before the U.S. Supreme Court, Hernandez v. Texas (1954). On May 23, 2010, I found that the mission statement for this entity was: "The Mission of the League of United Latin American Citizens is to advance the economic condition, educational attainment, political influence, housing, health and civil rights of the Hispanic population of the United States." On May 23, 2010, when I went to the Web site for this organization, I discovered that this organization was against the recently enacted law entitled Support Our Law Enforcement and Safe Neighborhoods Act, which had recently been enacted in Arizona, and, by the way, it was reported in a press release entitled "Paul Rodriguez Actor and Comedian Joins Forces With LULAC to Fight Against Arizona SB 1070" (dated April 30, 2010) that Paul Rodriguez (a comedian and actor) was urging people to donate to the LULAC and "...fight to reverse this unjust law." In addition, I found that the organization seems to promote that the federal government put "amnesty" for illegal aliens in any immigration-reform law, as I found in the statement posted on the Web site: "...Include a family reunification component and a pathway to legalization for 11 million person seeking documentation...." And the entity is against making English the official language of the United States of America and opposes having the border between the United States of America and Mexico secured so that illegal aliens cannot come to the United States of America easily. By the way, in 2005, the LULAC called the members of the "Minuteman Project"--citizens trying to stop illegal aliens from getting into the country in the southwestern region--as "...racists, cowards, un-Americans (sic), vigilantes, [and] domestic terrorists..." and people who are "...often affiliated with white supremacy groups...."
The Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund (or the MALDEF) -- Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund (or the MALDEF) has a history that goes back to 1968. By the way, the Ford Foundation was partially involved in the formation of this entity, as it was in the foundation of the National Council of La Raza. On May 23, 2010, I found at the Web site for MALDEF that the mission statement for the entity was: "Founded in 1968, MALDEF is the nation's leading Latino legal civil rights organization. Often described as the 'law firm for the Latino community', MALDEF promotes social change through advocacy, communications, community education, and litigation in the areas of education, employment, immigrant rights, and political access."
Note: It was on May 17, 2010, that MALDEF released a press release (which was entitled "MALDEF and Other Civil Rights Groups File Legal Challenge to Arizona Racial Profiling Law") that noted that the MALDEF and a number of other entities and people (such as the American Civil Liberties Union, National Immigration Law Center, the National Association for the Advancement of Color People (or the NAACP), and the National Day Laborer Organizing Network) had earlier in the day filed a class-action lawsuit against Arizona for passing the Support Our Law Enforcement and Safe Neighborhoods Act. This entity has promoted the idea of giving illegal aliens free college education, giving criminals voting rights, and having "open borders" for the country, and it has also supported the idea of allowing an illegal alien to get a driver's license. In 1998, the founder of MALDEF--Mario Obledo--said: "California is going to be a Hispanic state and anyone who doesn't like it should leave. They should go back to Europe." In recent years, funding for the organization has come from such entities as the AT&T Foundation, the Carnegie Corporation, the Ford Foundation, and the Rockefeller Foundation.Mexica Movement -- This is a group of people who wish to pushed out the Europeans from the North American continent and set up their own country, which would be called Anahuac. This entity or movement was founded in 1993, and it now based in Pasadena, California. On Sunday, May 23, 2010, I visited the Web site for the Mexica Movement, and I tired of it very fast. It was a collage of nonsense--pictures and text. The main page had these words shown prominently: "Mexica Movement. Not Hispanic! Not Latino! We are Nican Tlaca, the Indigenous People of Canada, U.S., Mexico, 'Central and South America' We reject all European divisions of our continent. We reject the artificial border divisions of our people. We reject the White Supremacist ideology that claims Europeans are permanently endowed with the right to define who we are as a people. We include 'First Nation' and 'Native American' and 'Indigenous People' all as one Nican Tlaca, all as one indigenous nation." What I found at the Web site was that the entity, supposedly, does not promote violence, yet it wants all Europeans out of what is informally referred to as the Americas. A portion of the mission statement was: "...We're educators and liberators for all Nican Tlaca in the 'Western Hemisphere'. We declare ourselves independent from the Europeans on our continent. We refuse to be slaves to their culture or their interests! We're taking the necessary steps that will liberate our people...." By the way, on May 23, 2010, I saw a poster like thing on the Web site, and some of the first words on it were: "SB1070 IS GENOCIDE as are HB2281 and 'no accent' law. This is an evil pattern. This is all about White Supremacy! You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure this one out. This is part of the same racist genocide that has been going on since 1492...." After SB1070, which is the Support Our Law Enforcement and Safe Neighborhoods Act, was passed in Arizona in April 2010, this entity promoted the idea of boycotting Arizona. The entity is supposedly against or not apart of terrorism, violence, Marxism, assimilation into the American culture, capitalism, anarchism, et cetera. Study this thought from the Web site: "We support the constitution of the United States and are not for the overthrow any of the governments of 'North America'. Oh, this entity has supported causes that are anti-Jewish or anti-Isreal.
The National Council of La Raza -- One organization that people in the United States of America must be aware of is the National Council of La Raza, which was founded in 1968 as the Southwest Council of La Raza (the current name was adopted in 1972). On Saturday, May 22, 2010, I went to the Web site for the National Council of La Raza, and I found this statement: "The National Council of La Raza (NCLR) -- the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States -- works to improve opportunities for Hispanic Americans. Through its network of 300 affiliated community-based organizations, NCLR reaches millions of Hispanics each year in 41 states, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia. To achieve its mission, NCLR conducts applied research, policy analysis, and advocacy, providing a Latino perspective in five key areas -- assets/investments, civil rights/immigration, education, employment and economic status, and health. In addition, it provides capacity-building assistance to its Affiliates who work at the state and local level to advance opportunities for individuals and families." The founder of NCLR, which was actually founded as the "Southwest Council of La Raza," was Jose Angel Guitierrez. It is an organization that pushes for driver's licenses for illegal aliens, opposes good ID systems, such as those with photographs, wants bilingual education, and supports voting rights for illegal aliens.
Note: In March 2008, NCLR, MoveOn.org, Rock the Vote, ACORN, the Women's Voices Women Vote Action Fund, the AFL-CIO, and the Campaign for America's Future were involved in the "Take Back America" conference and voter drive, and all the entities worked to elect Barack Obama to the office of the Presidency of the United States of America, and, by the way, ACORN is a highly disgraced radical group, which has been involved in voter fraud, and MoveOn.org is a highly left-wing political action committee, which promotes communism and socialism.The Nation of Aztlan -- The history of this organization began in the 1990s, and it can be called a Hispanic nationalist organization, and this entity wants to acquire the land of Aztlan that now is a part of United States of America, and, besides that, this entity is anti-Jewish.
Note: On Sunday, May 23, 2010, I stumbled across a letter defined as, it seems, "On judios, jotos and pochos," which was posted by the Minister of Information for the Nation of Aztlan on November 12, 1999 at 19:33:24, and the last paragraph was: "...The extraordinary efforts to censor our message simply tells us that our positions are correct. We are exposing the economic and political truths behind the factors that have kept our 'gente' under domination in occupied Aztlan. Their threats and intimidations designed to stop us from expressing our concerns in a public forum will only backfire. Their invocation and screaming of the loaded words 'homophobia and anti-semitism' will not deter us from speaking out and presenting much censored information to our community. The future of La Raza depends on it!" One reason for the letter it seems was the organization was refused access through a University of New Mexico listserv, and the remainder of the letter I was unable to determine clearly what the complaint was, but the entire letter seemed to be a rant. At the time that the letter was posted, the Web site for the entity was www.aztlan.org.The Organization for the Liberation of Aztlan (or OLA) -- This organization is another organization that wants the United States of America to give up lands associated with Aztlan.
University of Oregon MEChA -- This entity is based at the University of Oregon, and, by 2008, this entity had existed for about thirty years, and this entity has fought against the criminalizing of "undocumented" aliens, which are "illegal aliens," who are people who are illegally inside the United States of America.
* * * Individuals and La Raza * * *
While doing research for this document, I came across the names of people--particularly people who have supported the "La Raza" movement or "Reconquista" movement or something similar with the "La Raza movement or the "Reconquista" movement. This section presents some of the persons who have shown up in documents that I have seen, but these are not all the persons who have shown up in documents. Generally speaking, here is a list of some prominent people involved with or in some way associated with the "La Raza" movement or the "Reconquista" movement whom a person who decides to learn about the "La Raza" movement or the "Reconquista" movement should know:
Cruz Bustamante was the Lieutenant Governor of California from January 1999 to January 2007, and this man has been a member of MEChA (for example, he joined the organization when he was in college).
Hector Carreon is a man who has headed the Nation of Aztlan, and, in 2000, he founded a news-type Web site or entity called Los Voz de Aztlan (or The Voice of Aztlan), and this man was a member of the original Brown Berets.
Ramire "Ramsay" Muniz was a man that ran to be the governor of Texas in 1972 and 1974 as a member of La Raza Unida.
Robert Maestas founded El Centro de la Raza in 1972.
Cecilia Munoz, who has been a member of the National Council of La Raza, was made the White House Director of Intergovernmental Affairs for the Barack Obama administration on January 21, 2009.
Janet Murguia, who served as, for example, the deputy campaign manager for the 2000 Al Gore/Joe Lieberman presidential campaign (of the Democratic Party) has been the President and CEO of the NCLR since 2005, and, in October 2010, Janet Murguia said that she wanted a national health-care system that would allow illegal aliens to take part.
Mario Obledom, who was born in 1932, is the founder the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund (or the MALDEF), and, in 1998, Mario Obledom said that Hispanics "...will take over all the political institutions of California."
Rosa Rosales is the president of the League of United Latin American Citizens and has been the president of the entity since 2006.
Sonya Sotomayor, who has been a member of the National Council of La Raza, has been working as an associate justice on the U.S. Supreme Court since August 8, 2009.
Antonio Villaraigosa has been the mayor of Los Angeles, California, since July 1, 2005.
Jose Villarreal, who is an attorney, was the chairman the National Council of La Raza (or the NCLR) from 2001 to 2004; he resigned in 2004 to become the vice chairman for the presidential campaign of U.S. Senator John Kerry. (By the way, in May 2010, for example, Jose Villarreal was a Senior Advisor in the law firm known as Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld LLP, which had offices in San Antonio (Texas) and Washington, D.C.
Raul Yzaguirre was the President and CEO of the National Council of La Raza (or the NCLR) from 1974 to 2004, and in November 2009, Barack Obama nominated this man to be the Ambassador to the Dominican Republic, a position that involves a confirmation process, and this man supports "open borders" (which is the idea of, in essence, letting anyone into the country at any time)..
Note: Certainly, many other persons have promoted "La Raza" or "Reconquista," and, maybe, in the future, I will update the list.
* * * For Your Consideration * * *
This section can be thought of as an extra-information section. It focuses on incidents of history, such as speeches made or interview statements made, and on organizations that have not already been talked about in this document up to this point. The information is presented to that you will have more background information in mind before you read the final section of this document, which is entitled "An Analysis of La Raza."
On July 8, 2008, when Barack Obama gave a speech in Powder Springs, Georgia, he said, "...I, I don't understand when people are going around worrying about--We need to have English only. They, they want to pass a law--We want just, ah, we want English only. Now, I agree that immigrants should learn English. I agree with that. But, but understand this Instead of worrying about whether, ah, immigrants can learn English--they'll learn English--you need to make sure your child can speak Spanish. You should be think about how can your child become bilingual. We should have every child speaking more than one language. You know, it's embarrassing, it's embarrassing when, when, ah, you, when Europeans come over here, they all speak English, they speak French, they speak German, and then we go over to Europe, and, and all we can say is, 'Merci beaucoup.' Right?..." Why must a child learn to speak Spanish? What was or is Barack Obama's reasoning? Maybe, Barack Obama is going to push or allow more illegal immigrants who only speak Spanish to come in to the country. Why not have a child learn Swedish, Japanese, French, et cetera? A country with two languages is a bad idea! Canada has trouble because many people in Canada speak English, but many people in the provence of Quebec speak French, and, really, in Quebec, French is the dominate language and the official language. (By the way, how can Barack Obama say that it is "embarrassing"? And notice when Barack Obama is not using a teleprompter, he is not a great speaker. Examine again the quoted material, which I put down as I heard it. Barack Obama, when he ad-libs, is a sloppy speaker, and he often stalls.)
Note: People will sometimes say that Barack Obama voted against having English become the official language of the United States of America by voting against the Comprehensive Immigration and Reform Act of 2007, which had an amendment dealing with the subject of English, but it must be noted that, in total, thirty-three U.S. Senators voted against the legislation, one reason of which, for conservatives, was the bill would have given illegal immigrants an easy path to citizenship, which is truly a bad idea; the Comprehensive Immigration and Reform Act of 2007 died on June 7, 2007, when a cloture vote was taken, and the results were 34 "yes" votes and 61 "no" votes. It is unknown to me how much more radical Barack Obama would have wanted the Comprehensive Immigration and Reform Act of 2007 to be before he would have voted "yes" on the legislation.While writing the first version of this document, I came across information that soon I knew should be presented. I discovered there are a number of associations of lawyers in the country, the titles of which are partially made up of "La Raza." I wondered why it is necessary for "La Raza" to be in the names of such associations? To me, when "La Raza" is used in the title, it hints at the "La Raza" movement, and through this document, I have shown what the "La Raza" movement is about.
California La Raza Lawyers Association is one organization that I came across. I visited the Web site for this entity on Saturday, May 22, 2010. I found this statement: "La Raza Lawyers of California is an non-profit association organized in 1977 to support Chicano and Latino Lawyers in California and serve as a statewide network for local affiliated La Raza Lawyer Groups. We meet quarterly at various locations around the state and represent 16 different location organizations with over 2,000 attorneys."
San Francisco La Raza Lawyers Association is located in San Francisco, California. On Saturday, May 22, 2010, I went to the Web site for this entity and found this statement: "Our mission is to serve the public interest by cultivating the science of jurisprudence; promoting reform in the law; facilitating the administration of justice; advancing the standing of the legal profession; preserving the high standards of professionalism among Latino attorneys; and cooperating with other professional and community organizations in the furtherance of our mission." The founders of this entity were Mario Obledo, Cruz Reynoso, and Luis Garcia, and it was created in 1971.
Other "La Raza" groups associated with lawyers exist, and I note only two more here. One group is La Raza Lawyers Association of Sacramento, Sacramento, California. And there is a Central Valley Chapter of the La Raza Lawyers Association, which is based in the region of California known as Central Valley, which is made up of nineteen counties.
Remember: Sonya Sotomayor, who is a lawyer and has been associated with the National Council of La Raza, was chosen by Barack Obama to be a member of the U.S. Supreme Court, and Sonya Sotomayor is indeed a member of the U.S. Supreme Court (you are urged to see my document entitled THE CRUD AROUND BARACK OBAMA: My Rule--"Like Minds Get Together", which can be reached by using this Crud link, and you are urged to see my document entitled Justice for All?: The Rules Could Change Under Barack Obama, which can be reached by using this Justice link).On May 25, 2006, there was an immigration protest rally in Los Angeles, California, and then on May 30, 2006, the conservative columnist Michelle Malkin appeared on the television show entitled The O'Reilly Factor and, at one point, Michelle Malkin (the author of the book entitled Invasion: How America Still Welcomes Terrorists, Criminals and Other Foreign Menaces to Our Shores) said: "...Take a look at what was happening in Los Angeles. Just open your eyes Ms. Vanden Heuvel! It was the far left, the 'open borders' activists who were the ones who were the extremists, who were the ones advocating militant ethnic separatism. 'This is our stolen land.' 'Chicano power.'....These are people who believe that the American southwest belongs to Mexico, that we don't have a right to enforce our borders, and who do nothing more than try to sabotage our sovereignty...."
On Monday, May 24, 2010, I found a YouTube video entitled "Reconquista Aztlan Separatist Speech by Ron Gochez," and, in the video clip, which was made in early May 2010, Ron Gochez gave a little speech before a group of people (who looked like Hispanic-type people), and it took place at the UCLA (the University of California, Los Angeles), and here are portions of what I heard when watching the video clip (which was about four-minutes-and-fifty-five-seconds long):
"...This is about a global struggle against imperialism and capitalism...."
"...We know that all of that happening with the context that where we now stand is stolen occupied Mexico...."
"...And the message that we bring is we want to a little bit more of a revolutionary context to this. Why is it that these people, these...racist white people want to keep us out of this country? It's not because, simply because of our skin, it's not simply because they just want to exploit us. Let me tell you why. Because on this planet, right now, six-billion people at the forefront of the revolutionary movement is La Raza...."
"...We have nine--nine--left-of-center governments in Latin America, right now, and they know something....It's called the 'Domino Theory,' and he knew that every single country would go revolutionary one after the other, after the other, after the other...."
"...We are all one people. With that in mind, we see ourselves--all of us here--as the northern front of a Latin American revolutionary movement..."
"...There are more than 40-million of our people north of the Rio Grande. That means there, that's 40-million potential revolutionary north of the border, inside the belly of the beast...."
"...Our enemy is capitalism, imperialism...."
Note: Ron Gochez, a Sanchee High School teacher, was yelling out his speech almost the entire time, and that I could not present through this text provided.Here, I show you some schools--only some schools--that exist in the United States of America, which do not necessarily promote the ideas of the United States of America as it was founded. Academia Cesar Chavez (or Academia Cesar Chavez School) is a school that is called a "charter school" (a private school), and it exists in St. Paul, Minnesota, and at the Web site for the school, it was noted on May 25, 2010, that this school is affiliated with the National Council for La Raza, and the mission statement is: "Academia Cesar Chavez is dedicated to providing a quality dual-language education which prepares critically thinking, socially competent, values driven, and culturally aware bilingual and bi-literate learners by advocating Latino cultural values in an environment of familia and community." There is a school known as Aztlan Academy in Tucson, Arizona, and it is a "charter school," which covers grades from sixth to twelfth, and it focuses on education that it deems is appropriate for Chicano students. Another school that is affiliated with the National Council of La Raza is La Academia Sermillas del Pueblo, Los Angeles, California, and it is a "charter school" that focuses on children in the grades from kindergarten through third grade. The "charter school" known as Mexicayotl Academy is located in Nogales, Arizona, and the mission statement (a presented in English, though not well) is (at least as it was presented on May 25, 2010, through the Web site for the entity): "'Learning because of who we are, to become critical thinkers, within a process of learning through application, resulting in the full spectrum of "Interculturalism".'", and another statement that is promoted by this entity is: "Mexicayotl was founded as a commitment to Interculturalism. Within this commitment lie student outcomes of high academic achievement from students who know and value their cultural identity and are on the path of change as critical self-learners."
On Tuesday, December 14, 2010, a U.S. border patrol agent--Brian Terry--was shot and killed by bandits near Peck Canyon, Arizona, which is about ten miles north of the U.S./Mexico border (Rossiter, Joe. "Flat Rock native is killed near Arizona-Mexico line." Detroit Free Press, 16 December 2010, p. 17A.).
* * * An Analysis of La Raza * * *
To analyze La Raza movement or the Reconquista movement, a person must be aware of the basic principles of life and of the United States of America, only the latter of which can happen in this document. The United States of America is a country founded on "the individual" and not "an individual," as almost all other countries of the world are, which includes Mexico, and it is a country in which the people are supposed to own the government and the government does not own the people, which is the way of many countries of the world, such as those that can be defined as left-wing countries or what Ron Gochez might define as "left-of-center" countries in Latin America. The United States of America is a country made up of peoples of all places of the world, and it is not a country only set up for one group of people, such as Hispanics. The United States of America is not a place that actually promotes racist activities and most people in the country are not racists, one reason for which is each person as a rule is surrounded and living with all types of other people; however, if a person looks, the person can find people in the population who are racist, since that is the nature of some people, but, certainly, most people have not the time to worry about or take part or get involved in racism. The country has prospered economically since the 1700s, since no one group of people, especially one group of a few people, have dictated what happens in the country from day to day or dictates what is allowed to happen from day to day, as happens in countries with dictatorships or communist-sytle governments, and that has allowed millions of persons to think and do for themselves, which in the long runs benefits everyone.
When you are analyzing the La Raza movement or the Reconquista movement, you aer analyzing individuals--what is in their minds and what their beliefs are. When you examine the video clip of the speech made by Ron Gochez, you see that Ron Gochez is nothing more than an angry man and a racist, and, most certainly, Ron Gochez promotes racism (it is a wonder how Ron Gochez, who teaches defective thought, can be allowed to teach children in a high school). Those who take part in the Mexica Movement are also racist, as shown in their belief that everyone from Europe should leave their Aztlan, but they are also defective thinkers or big liars, since they say that they support The U.S. Constitution and want other types of people to leave, though The U.S. Constitution is a document that applies to all types or races of people (despite what radicals would hope that you would believe), and this thought must be noted about any group that wants Europeans or Africans or Asians to leave the land that is considered to be Aztlan--people from the Asian continent originally settled the Americas thousands of years ago, and then, for example, Spaniards and those who would breed what would become Mexicans came to the Americas in the 1500s-1600s period or so and conquered so-called native people and killed so-called native people, such as Aztecs (and what is odd is some believers in the La Raza movement or the Reconquista movement are supportive of the Latinos or Chicanos or whatever whose ancestors had killed their ancestors). If you look at the Brown Berets, you will find nothing more than a group of thugs, not unlike the black thugs that have turned some so-called black neighborhoods, such as many in Detroit, Michigan, into what are like Third World getto neighborhoods, doing that in their quest for so-called power, and such persons are nothing more than leaches on society, who produce nothing and wish to produce nothing and take from those to do things, and you can see that the Campus Alliance of La Raza has people with the mindset aimed at creating some type of "army," which can be used to promote what I will call "their cause," which is not design to really improve the individual or individuals. "Social justice"--this is a term that often flows easily out of the mouth of such people as black radicals, socialists, and communists, a good example of which are those who are associated with El Centro de la Raza, and the term can have many meanings, but, today, it often is used to promote the idea of economic equality, such as equal pay for everyone, though different jobs have different mental requirements or different demands of time, et cetera (to show an example of the defectiveness of the "social justice" idea, I say that a person who wants to become a doctor must spend many hours and years studying and working and reading to ever become a doctor (which may not happen), while a person who wants to become a gardener does not have to use as much lifetime as a person who wants to become doctor does to become a gardener), and different jobs have different levels of responsibility to life or the lives of others; also, "social justice" is used to by promoters of it to convince followers or potential followers, often poor people who have taken up with those who have kept them ignorant, such as by pushing the idea of not having to learn to be able to read England, that society owes them something, though they have done nothing to earn the something. It can be argued well by me that the history of Mexico goes back to the 1500s, though it was not till the early 1800s that the country got independence from Spain and became a recognized country, and since the 1800s, the country has limped along, and over the years, especially since the 1960s, Mexicans have purposely strived to leave their defective land--Mexico--with its defective political systems and politicians for the United States of America, and I can say, in essence, that, because of at least the political systems that have existed in Mexico, Mexico has created nothing, and, yet, the La Raza Justice Movement pushes the idea that the United States of America caused Mexico to be what it is--at dead society, where, today, people have to deal with drug gangs and their drug wars that are carried out in the open almost every day, and the type of government that the La Raza Justice Movement wants is a government not based on the individual (no matter what race that individual is) but based on them or "controlled by us (Our New Anahuac). The La Raza Unida Party has claimed that it wants to "carry on our heritage of expanding rights and opportunities," and it seems to hint that it is The U.S. Constitution that has blocked rights for them; of course, it is true if the "them" is made up of illegal aliens, who are not citizens of the United States of America, are citizens of other countries, and are law breakers under the rules of the United States of America, then TheU.S. Constitution does block "them" from, for one, getting free things. One of the defective thoughts of the League of United Latin American Citizens is that it wants "a family reunification component" in immigration law, and that seems to mean that the entity wants people who have come to the United States of America illegally to be allowed to stay with their families--to be given "amnesty," though they have been lawbreakers related to immigration (unlike the millions of persons who over the decades have struggled and worked hard to become naturalized citizens of the United States of America legally). The Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund wants to give legal aliens free college education and give criminals voting rights, and even by suggesting those ideas in public, the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund shows it is made up of people who are truly defective thinkers, promoting what is a truly bad idea for the United States of America and for any society or country. The Mexica Movement seems to be made up of people who have hatred for "whites," and the people of the Mexica Movement seem to think they are defined by other people and are slaves to the culture of "whites," though, as I can argue well, a sound man defines himself, the culture for a sound man begins on the day that the man is born, and the culture adopted for a sound man comes from what the man chooses, and to me, it looks as if the members of the Mexica Movement know not who they are, having not worked to define themselves as individuals. And the National Council of La Raza is simply made up of people who promote defective ideas for a society, such as driver's licenses and voting rights for illegal aliens--people who are lawbreakers and can potentially be defined through court action as criminals.
The people who support the La Raza movement or the Reconquista movement, like the people pushing for Sharia to be adopted in the United States of the America, are truly pushing defective ideologies or religions, which, ultimately, lead to the enslavement or death of people and peoples, and, really, the ideologies are like or are such ideologies as communism and socialism, which are ideologies practiced and supported by Barack Hussein Obama.
* * * The Real Invasion of Arizona * * *
Around June 14, 2010, people around the country were beginning to learn through at least one story on the Internet that parts of Arizona were now be reported as places that were off limits to Americans, and the story was "The U.S. gov: giving parts of Arizona back to Mexico" (Webster, Michael. "The U.S. gov: giving parts of Arizona back to Mexico." U.S. Hunting Today, 14 June 2010, 5:00 p.m. PDT; Webster, Michael. "The U.S. gov: giving parts of Arizona back to Mexico." LA National Security Examiner (or examiner.com), 14 June 2010, 5:38 p.m.). The story noted that the United States Fish and Wildlife Service has made parts of southern Arizona off limits to American citizens (some of the parts are near the Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge), and the reason is that foreigners--drug smugglers and such from Mexico--who seem to be well armed control the parts, and the stories even noted how a County Sheriff in Pinal County, Arizona, had reported that areas are dangerous and should be avoided. In essence, the section of the U.S. that American citizens are being told to avoid is made up of about 3,500 acres of land, and signs are even posted to urge Americans to stay out of the parts, such as areas south of I-8.
Note and commentary: What you have for the first time since World War II is a part of the United States of America--actual land of the country--is under attack by foreigners, and, also, a portion of the country is being confiscated, as can happen through "adverse possession," and, on the date that I write this (June 16, 2010), I have no information that U.S. soldiers are being sent to the area to take control of the area and remove the armed invaders, and U.S. soldiers should without a doubt be sent to the area, since no area of the country should be listed and labeled as off limits to American citizens because it is controlled by foreign invaders. It is the job of the U.S. President to secure the borders of the United States of America, and I say that, indeed, the border of the United States of America at Arizona is now under clear attack, and, now, let us see what Barack Obama will do and when Barack Obama will do it. In the case of the oil-rig disaster in the Gulf of Mexico, which had begun on April 20, 2010, Barack Obama has clearly delayed doing things that would help to contain leaking oil and keep it from beaches (as can be seen in my document entitled Madness in a President and Other Matters of a Defective Mind, which can be reached by using the link at the end of this document), and Barack Obama has noted publicly his displeasure with the Support Our Law Enforcement and Safe Neighborhoods Act, so I do not expect Barack Obama to take quick action, which is what I would do and which is required, and inaction or delayed action will be more evidence that Barack Obama is an enemy of the United States of America and is quite a mentally ill man.
